Actually this is more of a step back. Where your eyes linger already sets the bar high and is already the stepping…
I meant more as in the supply and demand of things. If more BL shows are made and are generally well-received by fans, more companies will invest in making them with a higher production value :)
Obviously it had more potential, but it was a solid production for its duration. It's a good stepping stone for SK to start making longer and higher quality LGBTQ+ shows !
If you are a fan of more serious dramas that revolves around business and intelligent characters that are efficient and logical , then this is definitely for you. The friendship between the two Akiras is very wholesome as they want eachother to succeed and are willing to lend any helping hand.
There is a slight romance which is nicely sprinkled here and there, never taking from the main focus.
The first 2 episodes felt a bit average but every episode after that was astoundingly good. The messages at the end of each episode were incredible and I love how realistic the premises and issues were.
The chemistry is off the charts between the mains but why are there so many cannibalism references lmfaoooo that better not be what the R rating is for
Just as long as the female lead is the same as she is in the manhua in terms of being a badass bitch and doesn't get any Stockholm Syndrome at all, I will watch !! The new plot line with Xiao Wu seems interesting too, a nice addition I guess
I wish they spent more time on the two of them meeting other survivors and getting out of precarious situations instead of focussing on the dude just chilling in his house. Because of that, it felt like watching an idiot somehow survive an apocalypse lmao, which was quite frustrating.
Basically, the ending portion was quite good while the beginning was slow af
Man, the cinematography was so beautiful and the plot really tugs at the heartstrings. Especially the cassette tape through the phone scene. That shit had me bawlinggggggg.
This film doesn't exactly tell you what's going on explicitly, but instead makes you read in between the lines and completely through the characters' feelings. Woo, shit got me emotional af
This show was just so respectful and wholesome in its depiction a blossoming relationship and ugh, the standard has just been raised honestly. This was a beautiful show, got me hooked from ep 1
It was an entertaining watch ! I do think it fell flat in terms of the complication of the story since I was waiting for a major event to happen, but it never did and before I knew it, the movie was over hahahah.
Nonetheless, it is a good bromance with a wholesome story.
As much as I wanted to like this special, I just didn't enjoy it that much :/ Almost all the main characters were annoying and the story bored me ngl I will still check out the series, but maybe after I've forgotten about this movie.
It's like an insane mix of Strangers From Hell, Devilman Crybaby, Tokyo Ghoul and The Terminator. Shit was emotional, gory and one hell of a rollercoaster !
Such a wholesome and sweet story, there wasn't any major conflict, just cute domesticity between a middle-aged gay couple and their everyday lives.
There is a slight romance which is nicely sprinkled here and there, never taking from the main focus.
Satisfying plot with a satisfying ending!

Ending song slaps too
