Wowww, I binged this in 2 days just because of how good it is! The characters are phenomenal and so realistic, and the friendships are so wholesome. The main leads have such good chemistry together and I would love a sequel to this!
I especially liked how fast-paced this was since it made the show even more realistic in that police can't exactly waste time on long ass conversations when they have cases to attend to.
The characters placed such an emphasis on following rules and not to kill anybody, which was a little annoying at times but I guess that's just the effect of being used to a Western police system where cops are way too violent and trigger-happy in both media and in real life.
Overall, this is super underrated !!! Hope it picks up more attention because it deserves it !
For those, who've seen the original movie, the first 3 episodes won't feel like anything new as it is a direct adaptation. However, all the episodes after that are spectacular and really do the movie justice.
The chemistry between the leads is phenomenal, it really feels like I'm watching the antics of a couple of best friends as they train to become officers.
I also really liked the cinematography as it reminded me of those gritty crime shows from the 90s with the golden, fuzzy shots.
This drama was interesting! It definitely felt like a prequel as it left on a cliffhanger but perfectly set the show and characters up for the next part of the story, which I'm not sure we'll ever get.
After watching the show, I can most definitely say that Xiang Long is just straight up obsessed with Lusheng, especially in the earlier episodes. Like damn son, calm down.
Xiang Long is also absolutely infuriating at times while YaYa's role seems to just be docile. Bai Lusheng is very, very interesting and I hope we see more of his character's search of vengeance in the future.
The series was cute and all but I wasn't really a fan of the sudden cuts straight after the 'dream' sequences, it became confusing and weakened the overall structure.
I do hope they make a 2nd season and explore the chef's background since his past was barely teased in episode 1 and then the series focussed on the singer and his ex from then on.
It's a nice, quick watch and Cora was an absolutely great character.
Although I felt that the main couple had no chemistry and that lots of scenes were insanely cringy or repetitive, this show managed to include topics that aren't usually mentioned in BLs like safe sex, getting tested for STDs, promiscuity and parents contacting professionals to understand their son better.
These side-stories definitely made the show better than what it would have been.
This is another slightly-above-average BL with a few unexpected quotes that I would describe as hidden gems, mostly said by either Waan or Folk.
The cinematography in this show was absolutely beautiful. Every scene looked so pretty, especially in the earlier episodes when the show wasn't as serious as it got in the later episodes.
I really enjoyed Leo's acting all throughout the show but felt that Wen Sheng's emotional scenes weren't as well-delivered as his serious dialogue, which he killed. This becomes slightly more noticeable in the last 2 eps, which I felt weren't as good as the first 10 eps.
Otherwise, this show has comedy, action, a great female lead, and bucket-loads of bromance.
This show was absolutely fantastic! The plot is unique and leaves you hooked as you want to know the past of the main characters, which is unraveled nicely and really makes you feel for them. The 4 main characters have a great family dynamic, despite their brutal past, lifestyle and constant bickering. The action is amazing and the show leaves you satisfied.
I only have three small criticisms for this show. One is how the punches look weak as well as the unrealistic gunshots and the last issue being the weak acting of a few side characters.
Another banger of an episode ! So far, this show hasn't missed ! Also love that message that everybody has their own insecurities, which is what makes them imperfectly perfect !!!!
This has surpassed my expectations by leaps and bounds. If anyone is hesitating to watch it, you will not be disappointed. By far the most soft and pleasant BL I've seen so far.
This show was really quite good in terms of acting and production value! Episodes 1 & 2 are extremely cute and show a realistic type of relationship, which was lovely. Episodes 3 & 4 was where it got angsty and you really wish you could strangle a character through a screen >:(
Felt like the plot would have been better suited to a longer episode format so the characters could have been fleshed out a little. Besides SangHa, the characters kind of felt 1-dimensional and the story felt mashed together. Still a cute show, but would have benefitted with longer episodes.
Really entertaining and had no boring scenes whatsoever! Although i gotta say, Teiichi yelled more than he spoke haha, but i guess it adds to the movie's charm. I really loved Dan and Komei, they were lovely characters !

A bangin show overall thooooo
It did get a lil bit too sappy for me with the constant crying and the staring and the confrontations between characters but it was such a cool plot !
Do Hwa was absolutely my favourite character, so charming and cuuute
