It started off extremely goofy and light-hearted so I thought it was going to be a cute little guilty pleasure to watch but once Sky and Ace got together, things quickly became quite serious after that O_O
All I have to say is that Moira (and her friend) should be in federal prison after all the shit they pulled.
The main characters obviously have their flaws but I think it was done intentionally as their actions are honest depictions of what many go through, especially the confusion and overwhelming feelings that follow when you are trying to accept yourself.
I finished the series sympathising more for Yana and Olan than I did for Jim and Ben.
Jim's character lowkey annoyed me and his situation with Yana and Ben was really frustrating. I get that Ben was in a tricky situation with Leo, but Jim's reasoning was....ehh
It's a simple story that touches on the loneliness you feel after a relationship. The dialogue in some scenes is grounded and relatable, and most scenes are nicely realistic.
Such a wholesome and sweet story to binge watch if you are feeling down in quarantine !! The characters themselves felt so realistic while the story felt like a cute fairytale eeee!! No toxicity or drama !! We love to see it !!!!!
and then their can be people like you who pretend these themes don't exist in every BL.. or are desperate to judge…
nothing in your reply can be considered a proper rebuttal :/ just accept that this show started well, but dropped off later in the season to the dismay of many
Sorry but the only toxic bl fans are the ones who didn´t like the drama since the first episodes and "were hesitant…
Only by actively being vocal about the issues that are in a show will we make any progress in having some proper LGBTQ+ representation. Just accepting and watching the show with all its flaws won't give you any improvements when they make the next one
This started off as a fresh drama with lots of interesting characters and stayed that way for about 6 episodes, but afterwards just slowly nosedived into all the toxic and ugly tropes that I despise in romance dramas.
Like damn, this had potential but now it just gives BL a bad name. It's 2021, can we just have some unproblematic shows for once

Just cause it "exists in every BL" doesn't mean new shows should do it too :/ And where's the desperation hmm? Their points are very valid, haven't you read the comments for the latest episodes? The general feedback isn't very positive for the latest episode bc of the toxic bs the characters are doing
