this was quite entertaining! its full of twisted plots and plotted twists that'll have you questioning everything you know about each of the characters
its got a decent bromance among the chaos of the investigation, and i of course enjoyed that the most! it does depict recurring violence and assault against a woman though, so if you arent a fan of that, be ready to skip scenes since its a part of the plot
all in all, i stayed up till 5am to finish it, and the ending was just right!
With a title that sounds like a warning and ratings barely keeping the pulse, I expected a snooze-fest. Instead,…
i thought you were exaggerating about their likeness but i spent the first couple of eps confused as hell lmaooooo especially when they switched clothes!
i've seen a few clips of the actors making jokes about how they barely had a budget when filming, and in some…
at the end of the day, i understand why shuhe did what he did - he was a disgraced prince living in confinement by the man who killed his brother and inadvertently forced him to take the throne, and who then conquered his empire just to 'have' him again....must be a lot of guilt and blame going on internally that would never be resolved in this lifetime
i've seen a few clips of the actors making jokes about how they barely had a budget when filming, and in some parts, you can tell, but i gotta say, the actors and production did a great job with the limited resources they had!! the cinematography was quite good and i liked the editing and soundtrack too!
the show started off quite generic but to my pleasant surprise, made a GIANT pivot, introducing a generous amount of political intrigue, betrayal, deception, and my favourite trope, obsession!! i loved the complex relationship we got in that final half and all their conflicted feelings!
defs recommend if you like political intrigue, complex characters, and slightly obsessive relationships!!
you can find the eps on youtube (unofficial uploads tho) and they're pretty short, so its easy to binge! give it a go! tho personally, i prefer the other series the actors made together, 'till death do us apart' - that one is real good
i love it when BLs venture into uncommon themes and storylines - if you're a fan of crime, drama, and action, then you'll enjoy this one!!
its fast paced but feels a lot slower in the first half compared to the last half, which then ends on a final episode that very clearly gives us a setup for a season 2 - seriously, why did it get so good in that very last episode??? im so keen to see the flirty, freaked out dynamic between jihoon and aim, the conflict of sun and nap between the bangkok boys and the lobbyists, and that cliffhanger??!!
the acting was okay-ish, i wont lie...the best acting has to go to aim's actor for sure tho, he played the loose cannon, crazy ass scheming right-hand-man perfectlyy!!!! his physical acting and expressions really stood out
an insanely stylish and action-packed HK classic with some great actors and a fast-paced, suave storyline! it apparently inspired quentin tarantino's reservoir dogs, which is not surprising at all because this is truly some fantastic cinema!!!!
defs recommend if you're a fan of HK's golden era of action flicks
the romance and chemistry between the leads was sooooooo lovely!! they have such a healthy relationship and i loved their development! where can i find men as devoted as thada in real life????? omgggg
the overall premise is so interesting and fun! though for all of that 'revenge' talk, there wasnt really a strong revenge subplot at all...i do wish there was a more intricate side story that involved and utilised the side characters more but oh well - the romance was defintiely the focus i guess and atleast that did not disappoint in the slightest
i liked this quite a lot! i didnt know anything about it when i started and thought su yi was going to be the main character, and that pei jia was gonna be the typical dickhead ml but was proven wrong quite quickly! the sudden dark turn of the plot was surprising as well, but im glad it was handled well - overall, pretty solid!
my only real issue is the editing - most of the time it was fine but there were certain instances where the editing didnt match the sequence of things, like they'd be kissing, then suddenly it cuts to them standing apart, then cuts to them kissing again - its not a major problem, but noticeable enough to diminish the immersiveness
i really liked this show!! it was heartwarming, funny, and had surprisingly accurate family dynamics! the emotional…
im seeing people critique beibei's character as an 'annoying fl' but isnt that the whole point of her character arc?? she begins as a whiny, immature teen whose only focus is her unrequited crush and then as the story progresses, her father's medical emergency acts as a reality check, and she matures, now more focussed on her studies and family
i thought she had really good development!! we were all whiny, annoying teens once upon a time!
i really liked this show!! it was heartwarming, funny, and had surprisingly accurate family dynamics! the emotional aspects were fantastic! i loved all the complex feelings shown between father and son, the orphans, the friend group, and the mother
i adored the relationship between gao yang and xiao wen, - they were soooooo cute in the way they started off bickering and fighting every 3 business days, then later becoming inseparable!!
the ending arc could have been fleshed out for more emotional impact but it was overall real enjoyable!
i loved s2!! it was so so sooooo cute - perfect for a quick n lighthearted binge! its very over the top and silly in its humour, but thats also the greatest charm of the show
loved how the thai adaptation puts the original anime to shame in terms of respect and consent in romance. not only is the relationship passionate, supportive, and lovely, they cast some truly amazing actors as the leads!! though there was more melodrama than i expected, the actors killed it!!
high production, great acting, and fantastic chemistry! i understand why its an instant favourite for many!

I'm so surprised at the surplus of bromantic/bl content we've been getting from china this year! keep em coming lads!
high production, great acting, and fantastic chemistry! i understand why its an instant favourite for many!
