This drama is a crime noir, not a romance! Seemed like the painful ending was the most fitting for this kind of story.

The show definitely had a bigger impact with Gi Chul dying! Him being injured and hospitalized wouldn’t have resulted in such a poetic ending.

Haha yeah and Bungaeman looked too old to be a high school student 😅

The problem with this (other than average writing) is that Doona is not likeable at all. She doesn’t evoke the kind of emotion or sympathy that she should. And I’m talking objectively without any bias for Suzy!

The woman with the chin mole is the student Heesoo saved from bullies in her previous school. She also eventually transferred to Jongwon High School

Doo Shik is essentially a guest role!

Ma Joo Seok’s evil spirit voice is so cartoonish and annoying! 🤦🏻‍♀️

One of the greatest things to come out of this drama was Ahn Bo Hyun’s soundtrack- 너의 지난날은 내가 안아줄께 (I’ll embrace your past). Listening to it on repeat, I can’t help but get fully immersed in the magical yet melancholic world of Seo Ha and Ji Eum

Everyone wondering why there was no answer to the question- “who killed Joo Ran’s sister?” isn’t grasping the real objective of this story. The sister’s killer has no bearing on this plot whatsoever but it does build the premise that Joo Ran has been suffering psychologically and she has been greatly traumatized by the event, leading her to be such an easy target for gaslighting.

Hope you get more main leads. You’re definitely a standout!

Of the 3 male leads he definitely has the most interesting story arc and probably the most screen time. This is Kang Hoon’s drama!

Yeah I didn’t like that either. Some might find it cool and deserving but I wished Do Young didn’t get his hands dirty. Jae Joon should’ve just died by the hands of one of the bullies.

“Dong Eun helping Yeo Jung get his revenge”- Would you consider being in prison not enough of a punishment? By that logic, Dong Eun’s revenge on Yeon Jin is also incomplete. Who is to say Yeon Jin won’t send tormenting letters to Dong Eun from prison lol. This is why Yeo Jung’s part of the story was quite odd to me.
