And I respect your opinion! Everyone can have a different point of view. I just thought it was extra predictable and pacing was off. As for the bit of “romance”, it would be better without any!
I want to say the below because I am super annoyed by some of these inane comments here.I feel like idol actor…
I love this drama but I also struggled to finish Destined with you- I have no “special” feelings towards Rowoon nor do I know any of his music. This is purely based on my own drama preferences. And yes, idols have die hard fans (mostly teenagers) who will blindly support their favorite actors mostly for their swoonworthy looks, but what can you or I do about it? I’m in my late 30s and I also find it ridiculous but then I remember being young and having unrealistic crushes on celebrities so give people a break and ignore those comments!
At the end of the day MDL user ratings mean nothing in terms of how well the drama actually performed on network TV where ratings DO matter. Cheers!
Right off the bat, all the sets look too fake. Usually Netflix’s production budget is very high but just comparing with Mr. Sunshine, everything looks too pristine and new, even the torn ”costumes” lol. Mid way through the first episode and story definitely has potential…
Your review was so on point! I just can’t understand the motivation behind any episode this season. It has definitely lost its soul that made everyone love S1. I’m a bit tired of Netflix trying to milk every good story until it becomes unwatchable
The problem with this (other than average writing) is that Doona is not likeable at all. She doesn’t evoke the kind of emotion or sympathy that she should. And I’m talking objectively without any bias for Suzy!
