"He still comes over to the house often." "“We’re no longer a couple, but we’re still a family,”…
In marriage you have different expectations, nearly everything you do is a negotiation and often ends up as a compromise. You change over the years and perhaps that gets harder. Good luck to both of them.
These sorts of drama are very popular, a bit of humour and a mystery, there are whole channels made up of repeats of this type of drama, because an ageing population likes them. There are literally more of us than the young with money to spend, so advertisers love them. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Murder,_She_Wrote You have so much to look forward to.
The one thing that this confirms is that Pond is perhaps a better actor than most of the people around him. Again, all very pretty, like a photo shoot, but the writing and plot let it down. Full of tropes and lack of character development. If you are going to have an malevolent force that drives a story I think its better that it isn't someone who is portrayed as a spoilt teenager.Needed a better script for the budget.
The ending I just found a bit cringe. Best part of this the OST Its like a very beautiful box with little content, really disappointing, despite all the money spent the script seemed last thing on the list. They lost the most compelling story line that was interesting. The bits that worked well were the parts set in modern dress, the so called royal setting looked like something from Disney's Beauty and the Beast, complete with poorly designed costumes. I think the directer had no idea how to shoot those spaces, there is nothing griping about seeing a man sat on a chair in a large room. I am think no modern royal family or even those that live in palaces and on estates live daily in the state rooms and walk around in dress uniforms. The script and most of the direction, apart from the scenes in modern day dress scenes didn't work.
Great OST, and productions values. I suppose what spoilt for me is I worked out who had done what or likely to do what ever by episode 20, so the intricate plot was wasted on me. I also hated the character played by the ML, completely self absorbed so he did not care how is his actions affected other people. As my mother would say, 'I wouldn't give him house room'. The FL charector wasn't much better, supposed to be smart, but blinkered, so I found her pretty stupid, like a spoilt teenager. I did like how if portrayed the blurred lines between doing the right things and getting mixed up in criminality. Some of it I found really sad.
Good things it had a fairly realistic plot, and it didn't have a lot of the worn out tropes. I liked the main couple because they were not perfect, but in representation of real couple relationships and not romantic slop, it was 9 for me. 2nd couple, all a bit vague, which is the standard wistful romantic slop, but cute, but they seemed like a filler. Good representations of women, a big plus. Nothing really that bad to say,
Whist I appreciated they tried to do something different, it just didn't make sense to me, and it was a bit of a meh. The running sub plot that became unbelievable, the obligatory whining spoilt girl, which I have never met in my longish life unless they are under twelve, and the ex to cause trouble, just why? I could go on about the biggest fantasy of the plot but, I won't. They get points for at least three female characters who are not depicted as unhinged.
Not the worst i have watched but basically if you cut out most of the middle eps they would not be missed because…
If you have a family with a golden child, its very hard on the other children and from the golden child POV it takes a certain level of maturity to understand that you are favoured, because to you perhaps think you are being treated a like and parents reasoning persuasive. Its hard for anyone often to live up to their parents expectations, if you have a golden child above you must feel like your in an abyss.
Not the worst i have watched but basically if you cut out most of the middle eps they would not be missed because they are rinse and repeat. My main problem with it is it's not until the last two eps that you understand why the ML is so conflicted, and his reactions are pretty understandable.
what plot actually need:- more clue about reset, how is he going find who killed him, more clues about killer,…
I am talking about Pond the actor playing Armin at about 40 yrs old at the start, compared to Tada at possibly the same age, he looks the same in both timelines. The older Armin is a very different person.

Yep. What is the age gap in both timelines? If Tada is having a glimpse of the future, how do we know his motives then, did they change over 20yrs? Or the simple reason is they didn't age Tada up very well in the initial timeline and Pond is a much better actor.

I agree, that main plot line is lost, also when you think of Tada's flash backs, how old was he then, and why was he there, and how old does that make him in the present timeline?
The writing, what there was, has fallen off the cliff. It has now become a collection of scenes with no clear narrative. They need new writers who write a plot that makes some sort of sense, and perhaps someone who can actually write dialogue. The actors are just left with nothing to works with. It makes My Stubborn look competent, unfortunately.. There are enough body swap genres that have been well done that they could have 'borrowed' from. The actor I feel most sorry for is Earth, a chance to break out of the 'good boy' box, totally wasted, with again no clear plot line, and Nat wanders off after him
There was a lot to like but it was like they were filling time at the end with extra plot elements which seemed to be thrown in. Both ML's are such good actors, its just a shame to script did not hold up to the end. They need a really good rom com.
Good luck to both of them.

I will forgive it more because it was obviously made on a much smaller budget.
