Well as they say in Yorkshire, it's proper..... good.
I am not a fanatical fan of GMTV, its just brilliant to see the amount of quality production that has been put in to this.
If I had a tiny gripe why use a cremello horse? I have one and they are not photogenic, that’s why Gelderlanders and Andalusians are used a lot, because they always look good on camera.
I am just crossing fingers for the writing.

That is a beautiful description lmao
He reminds me of my FIL, charming but completely selfish and self interested. Thinks he is better than the people around him, because his parents probably treated him as the golden child, and typical of some academics I have known. Anyone who flatters their ego or agrees with them must be a better person.
My MIL was a very intelligent women, but she wasn't even allowed to buy a new cooker, yet FIL could buy the latest camera because he did competitions.

Just finished, and perhaps apart from some things a pretty realistic take on modern life and the dating market. I married young so a lot of the problems of left behind women who have made the choice to have career and then when they want to settle down they are competing with younger women, for the 10% of men they think are worth having, have not concerned me.
I think the writer was making some good points in an easy to swallow pill. To some men women are a flavour to be tried and moved on to the next, the swipe right reaction, there is always someone better coming along, and perhaps twenty years younger. Geng Le portrays self interested sexual slime well.
The chemistry between the two leads was good, but I actually think I would have dumped him. How can you trust someone who is that uncertain?
The only bit I really hated was the convention of the deluded women who has to chase down someone else's boyfriend, and the girlfriend is left to sort her out. Not cool. Office politics I find a bit boring, or I would have rated it higher.

Title Nine Puzzles
11 episodes seems perfect to me because crime thriller like mouse, beyond evil, tunnel, even though they are considered…
Mouse we skipped to the end and decided that we hadn't missed much. Whole sections were pointless because we had already worked out the ending. Now something like Flower Evil, every twist added to the depth of the story. Just finished Strangers from Hell and I do not think an ep was wasted in the layering of story telling.

I didn't know her untill I watch this show and I have to say, she is amazing. It has been a while to see a chinese…
I am a lover of set dressing, a lot of these dramas the sets look they have just rented a job lob of furniture. In this the home reflects her. What is on show is flashy, the private spaces look lived in, and the kitchen is non flashy and a proper working kitchen.

If you if you take the plot seriously its basically not good, but the actors sell it well and it looks beautiful. So park your brain and enjoy the ride.

Well its a wow from me. I knew Betty Sun was a good actress, but she is amazing in this, she can be funny, calculating and devastatingly desperate in the same scene.
The husband reminds of so many men who have a wife to do the heavy lifting so they are protected from the realities of life. Looks nice on the outside but basically a selfish parasite. Who ever wrote this has met them.

Which part.
My husband had only seen him in darker ones, he likes action movies, so I have made him watch Divorce Insurance.
When you look at what 'normal' people do the story is a not so far fetched.

We managed to watch this over a week, because its a mind f!ck and you really need space to think.
The performances are amazing, not one bad one, and it tackled so many themes, but not in an obvious way.
I have been wanting to watch this for at least two years, its now on Tubi, and it was worth watching the ads for it.

Not everyone will like this because its unsettling. I watched The Frog after this, and I think this and Strangers from Hell were perhaps ahead of their time for kdrama. If like something dark that is a bit of a puzzle, it will be your thing.

Title The Potato Lab Spoiler
Who ever directed it has no idea how to get a good comedic performance out of actors, and why do yet again to…
Someone once tried to freeze me out at work and made me work on my own. Result, I got more time to plot revenge in peace, which worked. If someone had given me a huge office with great view I would have moved the desk, enjoyed the space, and spent a lot of time making sure I found some way to screw them over. Have they never heard of social media?

Who ever directed it has no idea how to get a good comedic performance out of actors, and why do yet again to the FL's end up wearing white mask makeup and end up appearing like brainless idiots.
People in there 30's acting with the maturity of teenagers.

They say misery loves company, and here is the proof. Oh woe is me.
Its well acted, the production values are excellent, its just the shame that the way the story is written its hard to find a light spot, even the child actor sounds like he talking like a middle aged man.
An ending doesn't have to be happy for me, but there should be some joy in it somewhere, I do not mean the comedy couple, but some light relief.
If the writers wanted to highlight health issues it was poorly done.

Title Buried Hearts Spoiler
At this point she should be moved st support role 🤣🤣🤣
Sorry I meant in Western as in cowboy and Indians, where the women were just there to be pretty, like Grace Kelly, unless you lMarlene Dietrich, when you can be smart and funny. Even the modern Western has been undated, in Yellowstone the FL is a main protagonist and has more guts than most of the men and is a main driver of the plot.
Talking of this drama you have a mother who is a bit like Lady Macbeth , but the children seem to totally unaffected by their parents obsession with acquiring power, apart from making them passive.

I reminds me of old western shows/movies, where you had to have a female character as a potential love interest who added nothing to the plot but was just there to look pretty, and cry a bit. Now if she was like her mother that would be perhaps interesting. All the women are literally supporting roles, bystanders.

OK its more holes in the plot than an old moth eaten woolly jumper, but its well acted and the production values and direction are great. FL as a character is just pointless, would anyone do what she did? The acting and story give no clear motive for her actions, apart from my parents made me do it, which is a cop out.

There is a show called The Unforgotten, its now on Netflix, which is about cold case murders. It often has multiple story lines, very centred on relationships, where you think how the hell with this work out. The acting is very realistic and underplayed which is perhaps not to everyone taste, no car chases.
I will your suggestion a look.
