How about Kim Go Eun (Goblin) and Ji Sung (Kill Me Heal Me) in a comedy? There is an age gap. But, it’s not much bigger than her age gap with Gong Yoo in Goblin.
Also, Lee Min Ki (Because This is My First Life) and Song Ha Yoon (Fight My Way) in a comedy about a stone faced CEO who goes broke and has to learn to live cheaply from his struggling trainee. She is petite and energetic. He can play any role and playing a 1% elitist who realizes the struggle is real to survive daily would be easy for him.
Our Shi Mok’s straight face quietly screams “Bull*#%*!” when both the police and prosecutors try to mislead his investigations with their witty response! They are confused, angry or short of breath when he walks away and they realize they played themselves!
I watched for the cast that has many experienced actors. The plot was mediocre and random in some places. The male leads’ scenes were the best part of the drama. I skipped a lot of the student scenes. Too predictable. Some of the western stereotypes were cringey. 7/10

Actually, Oh My General was worth watching to the end. The harem became best friends to the new queen, the General. They liked her better than the king after realizing she was not jealous of them and their living standards improved because of her!
This is a rare Xianxia type drama that gets the romance right from the start to the last drop! It’s refreshing. These dramas typically ignore monogamous relationships and throw in harem of jealous women. I’m glad they took the high road. The lead couple had so much charisma that I was envious! It’s a fairytale relationship and a nail biter. But, I cheered them on throughout. The many love stories blended well with the action scenes. The storyline was complex, but not hard to follow. The heroes were worthy. The antagonists were great competition! It was hard to pick a side sometimes. The storyline flowed well with very few low spots in the middle making 59 episodes feel like the proper length! The ending was made to encourage good ratings and leave viewers in a happy place. The special effects did not get in the way of the scenes or plot. This drama will get a lot of repeat viewings! 10/10
I am so looking forward to this because of the awesome cast and the production team who made The story of Minglan! The actors who played Ming Lan’s parents play the parents in this. I hope it’s out by 2021!
The storyline concept is not bad. The execution needed work. The excessive filler scenes (especially trashy college roommate scenes) and boring dialogue dragged it out too long. I thought about dropping it several times. But, I liked the funny moments between the emperors which kept me watching. The twists were uneventful, even irritating, and came very late in the drama. The ending left subtle clues on whether the couple lived in misery or lived happily ever after. This was the most irritating. 7.5/10
Not one of George Hu’s top dramas. Even his shining personality couldn’t save this drama. This script is written as if the writer holds a lot of vengeance against all involved in the production. Too many backstabbers to list! There are spider webs of connected love triangles also too numerous to count. I only kept watching to see justice served on several characters because I started to dislike them before making it to ep. 15. Skip this one. 6.5/10
I have to literally repeat most of the dialogues two times to get what's going on in this show and that is sign…
I totally agree! I’m used to speed reading most subs to get the key words. Now, I have to pause the episode to read the entire sentences or I feel I have missed a clue in the subs!
