Depressing n dull movie. I liked some parts of it but nothing is really happening here, i personally liked it as i like dull movies but i won't recommend it to anyone.
This wasn't just about teenage pregnancy , motherhood or infertile parents the movie is not genre specific n the theme is vast but it can be categorised as Slice of Life overall. I liked the plot alot like man being infertile bcz we often see infertile woman in most of the cases , idea of Baby Baton institution n how they carry out their work i just loved everything. Execution was rather boring especially story of Hikari seemed irrelevant to me ,they cud have cut it short or it would have been good if it were a drama. I'll rate this movie based on its theme only,we need Baby Baton like institutions for single pregnant women who are treated like family.
6 traditional stories from different novels n directors. I watched it bcz i liked the vibe n some stories were nice that kept me engaged I had an expectation from this but it was pretty average. The second story was the worst n i liked the last two alot . P.S. m not particularly speaking of this drama but no idea why Indians are presented as black in most of the Asian dramas, well yes south indians are little dark but north indian are wheatish or dusky though.This shows lack of knowledge n sometimes colorism whereas even some japanese actors are also have dusky skin tone whereas it's rare to see evn dusky skin tone in Korean n chinese dramas.
Comfort movie.Nothing actually happened in this simple plot about day to day life of a girl.I felt relaxed n liked the father n adult daughter 's relationship.He is such a nice father.
This reminded me of korean movie Breath which i actually liked alot bcz it was a little weird n there was cute gay angle , most of all i was thoroughly entertained.Seppun was also good, actually the plot was much better than Breath but the execution seemed to be somehow faulty, the writer n director both failed to give insight about the characters n it got me bored that i wanted to finish it soon.Well this had a good potential so i liked it a little bit.
I liked the bond of both the women,they were really understanding n emotional but behaviour of both the kids seemed to b too unreal to me , like they were adult.I have never seen a kid as young as those two going n staying at others ' home without making a huge mess n crying like crazy for their mothers.I know the execution was supposed to be subtle n calm but it felt unrealistic at moments.
They both went back to their adoptive parents without swap ryt?Bcz his father said that mission is over so m guessing he accepted keita n kids won't b going back to real parents.

Engaging movie with dark humor, good music, bit of violence n many fun scenes but without any depth ,meaning n explanation unlike in Blue Spring or 9 souls ,these two movies have clear objective. Whereas this one has loose plot n we dnt know about the background of the psychopath which i wanted to know. Although this was made first i would suggest to watch the two movies mentioned above before watching this to know more about the director's way.
Although i like it I get why some people find it boring . All the dialogue seems like off the book, i mean not just one but all the characters are too good to be real, break ups n making up n everything looks so unreal, all the characters are so mature n how things go smoothly feels so fake. I mean they feel emotionless few times especially if u compare it to other Jdramas.
Where Woman in the Dunes was about geography n biology this movie was about biology n psychology.Both smartass plots .
Plastic surgery already existed at that time.I like the details of inner conflicts of the characters n the interaction between doctor n MC ,with few symbolism n metaphor which we have to interpret so i got lost in some scenes like why was everyone so scared of doctors wife n what's with that so long hair at the door , implying ghost or something.Then character turning into animal, metaphors used were not executed properly. Watchable
Wrongfully accused character with a bit of social commentary n good music.
If anyone is guessing if he really did it ,u can see in the first scene that it's a woman who did it ,blaming it on outsider n also raikan fingers are still intact .
