Yes, when you think about it, her situation is far more tragic than puppet Ji Ling’s. Wuyi has no control over herself at all. Even if she chooses to die, Jiu Ying can resurrect her. He can take over her body whenever he wants. He can erase her memories and manipulate her memory and thoughts however he likes. It’s far worse than being any kind of puppet.

It’s also so sad. Even if you love your sister, you know your heart actually belongs to her. The question is whether it’s true love, or if your heart is simply bound to wangyan by nature. Damn… that’s heartbreaking.

Damn, I feel so sad for Wuyi. She was borrowed and pieced together to become a person. She doesn’t have a real identity. Everything about her is fake. Her entire fate is to be controlled by Jiu Ying whenever he wants. The only things that truly belong to her are her emotions and Ji Ling. It’s such a tragic existence.

Haha, a 9 rating might be asking for too much. A 9 should really be reserved for exceptional dramas (though there are definitely some overrated ones out there). I think this drama right now deserves around an 8.6 or 8.7. Depending on the ending and the final episodes, it could land anywhere between 8.6 and 8.9. That’s just my opinion, of course — everyone sees things differently.

What actually happened? Don’t you think this drama should be at least at an 8.6 rating by now? There are plenty of dramas with much higher ratings, and I honestly can’t say they’re better than this one.

Yes, it looks like the spoiler about them becoming human might actually be true. There are too many issues for them right now, and it’s impossible for them to get a happy ending in their current state. I can accept this as an ending and would be satisfied with it.

As for the Wuwu couple, there are no clear hints. WWY’s calendar only shows fox tails, and I have no idea what that’s supposed to mean. I really hope they get a happy ending too.

My guess is that both couples will end with an open ending, but with an implication of happiness. Everyone will meet each other again as if for the first time, and the future will be left for us, the viewers, to imagine.

Is there any way Jiu Ying’s fragments can be removed from Wuyi and Shiguang without killing them?

Li Jie doesn’t have any past memories, but since he was created from the Butterfly Demon, he might have similar abilities. He just hasn’t realized it yet.
