why are we acting like this is not a real life situation? beautiful women tend to have men flock them more openly.…
exactly! plus, their personalities are completely different.
Sang Yan is cold, and probably rejects any girl who tries to pursue him without a second thought. he's proud, so acting nonchalant around others isn't hard for him.
the female lead is different though. she just drifts along. she stands up for herself when needed, but you can still feel that it's hard for her to say no. it's clear who she loves though, never playing around - the problem is that the men pursuing her can't take a hint 👏🏼
let's not forget that this drama is centered around the female lead, after all. it's about her facing her own traumas and overcoming them, healing with the help of Sang Yan! she has already enough on her plate, why make her suffer with unnecessary jealousy?
how they manage train the cat till she can sit still throughout?
proud cat owner here! 🙋🏼♀️ it looks like the cat is a Scottish Straight. pure-breds tend to be calmer and more disciplined than strays, making them easier to train. this is because, over generations, they have grown up with human interaction and become accustomed to being handled.
filming an animal is never easy. my guess is that they had to re-shoot many scenes. 🐈
right?!??!! that last second scene sealed the deal for me I was like , wow, what a man , I can't believe I'm not…
you're so true for saying that. it definitely sealed the deal for me, too. 🥺 also, i didn't expect Bai Jingting to be such a good actor. i'll definitely keep an eye on him for sure in the future.
everything about this drama is a masterpiece so far 😭 the cinematography, the plot, the acting, the characters 🤌🏻 EVERYTHING
Would really prefer it if it was sent in a University. I'm kinda tapped out of high school kdramas, although this…
I don't think it's going to be that weird if they handle the topic carefully. Teenage girls tend to like older guys anyway, most probably because they are more mature and confident than adolescents. That doesn't mean such relationships should be normalised though! I'm pretty sure it's gonna be a comedic element only, and knowing kdramas, hopefully no sexual tension or jokes.
But I completely understand where you are coming from. Let's see how things will turn out!
I don't think so. In East Asian culture, which was heavily influenced by Confucian values, community is very important. This is why people tend to call each other by family names (for example oppa or noona), even if they are not related by blood. I believe the same is true for older members of society. It's normal to call them uncle or grandpa, etc.
Nope, I don't think IONTBO is suitable for reference cuz the FL is quite toxic.. FL being a fashionista with a…
I have never once said that he is a loser lol. What I'm saying is that if you want to make a green flag male lead, he doesn't have to be a puppy.
You're right, IONTBO might not have been the best example here, but the female lead wasn't weak. She was successful, wealthy, talented, know how to stand up for herself, and was independent from others until she met the male lead. She was toxic indeed, but she had her own demons to fight, since that was the topic of the drama.
I might be a bit too harsh on this drama but it is a bit annoying to see such male leads in my opinion.
I love the wardrobe of this female lead, much more than the one the female lead had in IONTBO. What makes you think I thought she was a strong female character based only on the way she dressed?
I wish people would realise that if they want to make a strong female lead, the male lead doesn't have to be a golden retriever puppy all the time, running after the fml and only loving her for all his life, even after she left. I understand that such couple dynamic exits in real life as well, but lately this seems to be the trend for most kdramas, which kinda makes me sad...
A good example would be It's Okay to Not Be Okay. Did we have a strong female lead? Yes. Was the male lead a green flag while still not being a puppy? Yes. He had a life and personality beside loving the female lead!
I understand that we need feminism, strong role models for young girls but i refuse to believe that in order to achieve that we need to make stupid, weak male leads (not necessarily talking about this drama now)
Sorry for being this negative, I've noticed this becoming a pattern for quite some time now... But feel free to say your opinion as well
Is it common for chinese dramas to have their release date announcement drop so close to the actual release? Hoping…
Yeah, it's quite common for cdramas that they are on the upcoming or soon list for months, then the company suddenly drops the airing date a few days in advance

what a man! i love it that he's so protective already!
this drama is about to become one of my favourites, and i have only watched two episodes so far. it tells everything.
But I completely understand where you are coming from. Let's see how things will turn out!

Unlike some other GMMTV shows, this doesn't feel cringe at all and the characters are pretty reasonable, the chemistry is *chef's kiss* 🤌🏻
