i love this so much! the plot might not be the strongest, but the characters are very lovable and funny! π€£ i'm usually not into pure comedy but i have been laughing so much! π definitely a great example of how to mix multiple genres well
i cried, laughed, and smiled so much. it feels like i've grown up with Aesun, and i am so grateful to everyone involved in the making of this series π
and to all the people wondering - true love like this does exist! my grandparents lived an extremely similar life, and although they didn't have a happy ending like this, they always loved, cherised, supported, and protected each other till the end of their lives through all kinds of hardships. a literary girl trapped in a small village, a quiet boy always backing her up, the wounds on his skin from physical work, the colourful clothes she wore, and the honest love they shared lasting for decades β€οΈ i felt like i was watching them, and this is what makes this drama so unique to me.
it's raw, heart-wrenching, realistic, and sad, yet beautiful and hopeful at the same time. worth a thousand rewatches. π»βοΈπΈππ
They might change this on the drama. He might be pretending to be a womanizer.
i see~ ππΌββοΈ. i have read in a previous comment that he only pretends to be a womanizer, so that he will appear stronger and without weaknesses. this might be a thing only in the drama, then!
i am hopeful π he won't have a harem cause i really hate those kind of dramas. this is why i don't plan on watching The Princess' Gambit, even though it looks interesting. π₯Ί this whole infidelity just goes against my religion and morals ππ
The fact that he isn't getting called out enough in Korea because he is one of the highest paid actors and owns…
i have read that many articles and comments about him regarding the incident are being deleted. he is insanely famous, powerful, and rich, probably has quite a few backer in the industry. of course, they will try to minimise harm and pay off as many people as they can...
Please remember we do not know ANY of these idols/actors. They are complete strangers to us and we are strangers…
you're so right!
we can NEVER know what a celebrity is like behind the scenes. all we see is a carefully crafted personality, made by businessmen and a marketing team. i do believe that there are many good celebrities out there, however, just like in real life, there are many who are bad, evil, and capable of inhumane acts. it's okay to support an actor and to be a fan, but unfortunately this liking and support turns into obsession and dependence quite often.
i think i'd be important to draw the attention of the younger generations (and everyone in general) never to believe everything that's posted on social media, and always keep a distance, even from your favourites.
i will be extremely disappointed in Kenshin if the rumours turn out to be true... this drama still deserves its fame and ratings though, since so many worked hard, let it be on screen or behind the screen, to make a good drama π
to be honest, i love dramas that are about a tragic past and trying to run or heal from it, especially if the struggles are written nicely and are somewhat realistic.
based on the trailer, the male lead will be there for the female lead, supporting her through thick and thin - another trope i wholeheartedly adore!
i might check out the novel later on because now you got so damn curious! π
hmm, interesting! i don't mind the change if it includes more romance, though. we'll see how things turn out π i'd be so happy if it were just as good as The First Frost.
thank you so much~, now i have another drama to look forward to π
i have read before that the ml is a red flag. is that true? π

thank you for your answer btw!! β€οΈ
in my opinion, melodramas are so much better than romcoms. somehow i enjoy the storyline more!
i'm many episodes behind π so that's why people are having such intense conversations here, thanks for telling me.
hopefully, the next episode will explain why some things happened (or justify this change)
this is what i came back to? what happened to the chill comment section? ππ
