The way Zhu Yan thought that the Wen Xiao right in front of him was his own imagination is heartbreaking to hear…
Truly romantic!
This is what I adore about Chinese dramas. We might not get a kiss until the very end but so many subtle acts, longing gazes, and beautiful words make up for it for sure!
From the moment they met, their chemistry was off the charts. I love how they understand one another with just a look, and are able to express their deepest worries in each other's presence.
I swear if they arrive at the solution of Killing him (or destroying his core or something), and then sigh and…
Exactly! What it would make it even more tragic is a suicide. I can imagine Zhuo Yichen hesitating whether to kill Zhu Yan or not, so for the greater good, Zhu Yan takes matters into his own hand and leans into the sword willingly or something like that.
Oh, there would be no tissues enough for me if this were the scenario ๐ญ๐ญ
I think there are still some important pieces missing from ZYZ's last. For example, what happened eight years ago after accidentally injuring Li Lun? At that time he had fully grey hair and white clothes, but when sealing LL, both his costume and hair was dark. Also, how did he meet Wen Xiao's master? Who was her demon partner?
Moreover, he told Wen Xiao's master that he wished to die. This was way before the blood moon thing, and while it was devastating, I doubt he wanted to die only because he injured LL... ZYZ's eyes looked completely lost and devastated, as if he was already disgusted by himself. ๐ค Being controlled by the malicious energy was only the cherry on top later on.
I'm not sure if this will be covered but it would be interesting to learn more about his birth, place, parents, or origin. What had he been doing all those thousands of years?
Same ๐ญ This is THE drama for me this year... Everything is just so beautiful and perfect! Based on the MV my heart will be broken into thousand pieces, but it's all so worth it ๐ญ๐ญ
I feel like there is still so much to learn about Zhu Yan's past. In episode 17, he told ZYC that he did things he shouldn't have. I think he wasn't only talking about him being controlled by malicious energy and killing many, we are still missing important pieces imo.
Also, this whole red moon thing is sus to me. Why did it start only 8 yrs ago? Why not sooner?
I'm so fascinated by this story and Zhao Yuanzhou's character. Him having such deep regrets and wanting to die so bad definitely make him an interesting character to watch.
I am pretty disappointed with Lee Seunggi. I found it really disturbing what he said to the guy, who stood up for the other contestants being exhausted and on the verge of collapsing. Lee Seunggi is not even a kpop idol! How come he knows so much about being one? ๐คจ I was a big fan of him until now... well, not anymore

This couple is gonna live rent free in my mind...

Hou Minghao slays in this role. He looks so elegant and refined, yet powerful and mysterious. What a character! I'm totally in love haha

Aaa, so much angst incoming ๐ญ

One of the best characters ever written imo. ๐ค๐ผ
