unpopular opinion : Tanwa is my least favorite character in this show !!
I agree.. All I want is vor Trin to end up with Victor but we all know that prob can't happen. I really hope we get to see Tanwa's true personality because right now I can't feel the love from Tanwa's side. it's only lust.. and I don't like it unfortunally. The story is insanely good tho

I totally agree, and I also feel like in many points by his directing, he doesn't even want the couples to show off their natural chemistry or show the natural respons and development when it comes to love. He has ruined so many potentionally beautiful love scenes AND nc-scenes by taking them as a "joke" or by OVERUSING slow-motion OR weird angles where you can't even see what is going on.
I think people still want to work with and hire him because his resume carries some very big names, such as the og Love Sick that pretty much started the whole bl-craze in thailand, adding Love by chance to that etc etc... He's a well known name in the thai households. But by time I think he has gotten lazy and lost his touch. If it's not him personally, he NEEDS TO switch out his production team. (other than that I have just gotten a weird feeling over him over the years /sigh)

I absolutely agree on this, because I've seen way too many dramas or movies that have very high score but lack pretty much everything. I've also gotten the same comments, and even ruder ones when I, not even in a bad way, commented on thai dramas. And I'm pointing out it's on thai dramas, because I've only ever gotten rude or ignorant replies or dm's on THAI dramas (yes and mostly bl ofc)
We as a community need to accept that people don't all have the same taste, and we don't all have the same reason for watching a drama or a movie. Criticism is normal and healthy and also a good way to share some points and discuss (on a grown up manner) the pros and cons we share. It's gotten so toxic here I don't even want to comment on stuff anymore.
And like you write, normalise giving the score YOU actually think of the story, not just because you love an actor or someone has a pretty face T_T I've watched so many dramas and movies with my favorite actors and all can't be good, so even if Yamada Yuki is in it (my nr.1) I refuse to give it 10/10 just because he's in it? That's not how you rate a serie or drama, that's how you rate an actor.
Don't attack people for not having the same taste as you, or hate on them for no reason and ALSO don't attack people for loving something you don't like.
High School Frenemy tho, is a 10/10 for me. Not because of any actor, but because this is the kind of storylines I want and love. Friendship issues and angsty delinquents - right up my alley. I also love the original story School 2013. So even before it started to air I knew I would love it (also adding that Sky is really really good, I knew he would do his part well) I'm super impressed and actually like this version more than the original kdrama - which I never thought I would say ever haha
As someone who's a big fan of the original kdrama, this version is BETTER. I'm in a total awe, totally blown away. Thank you Sky and Nani for taking on Jongsuk's and Woobin's characters 🙏❤️

tbh I think they are just f**king with us xD It's going to be a BL. They haven't even finished deciding on the characters or story yet, it's so fresh so we really can't know anything yet!
I actually enjoyed this show before Star started to show her two-faced personality. The jealous possessiveness was not a pretty look at all. Especially when Lune was vocal of his reasons all the time, which Star refused to listen to.
If you don't have trust in who you date, you shouldn't be in a relationship with them. Star is a red flag, end of story. Poor Lune.
As a huge fan of the original, I'm so happy this version is just as amazing. I'm floored, totally blown away❤️ I love it SO MUCH. SkyNani is the best casting one could ever ask for!
