Yes. This is ZM who already merged with XXC. He was imprisoned, but in the end we are shown the current timeline that is 10 000 years after his imprisonment. Since 10 000 years have passed, he is free again, just like he got free the first time around.

As I mentioned in my original reply, it seems that two timelines merged after 10 000 years. They probably kept it vague because time travel is inherently difficult to explain logically, especially when it involves changing the past and everything that comes with it. However, it’s clear that XXC who appeared there is the original ZM who was sealed 10 000 years ago. There's also the issue of time loops that often arise in these storylines, but I assume that after TM destroyed the Book of Fate (or after HT was killed), that ceased to be a problem. XXC/ZM had demon powers because he was originally a demon (because that's the version of him that jumped to another timeline/the past), but his personality is more like XXC/original ZM, as he’s finally at peace with himself and the world.

Like I said, not all of it makes 100% sense, but I think they gave us enough material to make some sense of what & how it happened. After all, I have yet to see a xianxia storyline that logically makes sense.

Because in order for everything to work out, they need both timelines intact. The past should repeat itself so the present in which HaonTian possesses ZM can happen. If they change things in the past, the present timeline will change, and it won't be possible to have two Hao Tians fight each other.
The part with Tian Ming is a plothole in my opinion. He destroyed himself, but in the original timeline TM also went to the mortal world where he kept reincarnating as a human. He may have reincarnated again after destroying the Book of Fate, idk.

Yes, it is. He was basically possessed by his future self, and that's the reason he has no memories of that time. It was him who saved her tho.

He's really good at playing morally grey characters (and I LOVE that) but I would like to see him in some role where he's nice and innocent. That suits him too. I don't really have any specific ideas on my mind tho.

From my perspective, although the time travel and changes to the past and present make it difficult to fully comprehend, the two timelines ultimately merged. ML was sealed 10 000 years ago, and after those 10 000 years, the two timelines, one with the original MXL and the other with ZM/XXC, came together. We can assume that everything that happened earlier in the series likely repeated (the way ZM was released, for example), but this time without Hao Tian, as he was killed. Just don't think too hard about it, though. Take it as it is. The more you try to understand it, the less it makes sense. 😂

But yeah, the ending in general felt kinda rushed with the whole war thing happening. I actually didn't even understand who ML actually was, like were they (GZ and ML) from the same dynasty/cousins or was the Empress they talked about from the previous dynasty; and he kinda gathered the army and supporters, but the current king sent GZ to fight against someone else. I was so lost towards the end. 🤣

But for real though, every time he 'confessed', I was just like, "Bro, please don't. You'll just be rejected again. Please reconsider. 🥲" I loved their scenes too, but I felt bad for him because it was clear she didn’t like him, yet he kept trying.

Oh, so the ML didn’t die? I honestly thought he did. What was the third wish, him becoming a king? Now I'm sad, season two would have been amazing! 😭

When it comes to C-Dramas, I’ve always preferred costume/period dramas and rarely watched modern ones; but after seeing Inference Notes, I’m really eager to see more of him in modern genres. He has such a unique look, especially with his slightly longer hair. I just love it! 😍

To be honest, it wasn't that great. The first 10 episodes, where they investigated the murders of the girl group members, were kind of bland, but the second half with the Poker Organization was more interesting. Also, it felt a bit amateurish. However, Wang Duo as Qi Mu was absolutely worth it. He nailed that unhinged character, effortlessly balancing both innocence and craziness. 10/10 for that role! I also found bits about Edison's past life interesting. All in all, it was okay-ish. Neo Hou legit looked like a kid back then 😭

You should've seen my face when he appeared on screen. I was like, 'That can't be him, right?' But then I saw those fingers, and I was like, 'Yep, that's definitely him!' 😂 Yeah, the movie was a trip. It's a parody, and since I'm not familiar with the original story either, I had absolutely no idea what I was watching. 🤣

Ooh, I'm really excited for Blemish Flaw! I can’t wait to see him in that role, it looks so interesting. And I really hope Night Wanderer is actually happening; I thought it was one of those projects that would never see the light of day. It pisses me off how one actor can just ruin the effort of so many people.

Haha, I also thought Season 1 was a bit too goofy, especially with those zombies at the beginning. 🥴 But despite that, the humor was spot on. Season 2 suits my taste better tho.

I watched JTTW earlier today, and I can't say I liked it. He wore some kind of mask or had another face over his own for almost the entire movie, so it didn’t feel like I was watching him at all (he's a pig demon so at times he even had the face of a pig HAHA)😭. I did notice his long fingers, though! Right now, I'm watching Inference Notes (the drama), and in the first 10 episodes, he appeared in maybe 3 scenes. Hopefully, the next 10 episodes will have more of him. I'll also check out the movie when I finish the drama.
I’ve already seen L.O.R.D., and it was good! His character is somewhat villainous, but the whole story is interesting. I like the medieval, high-fantasy vibe. As for IF, I might watch it in between other dramas.

I'm almost done with his entire filmography and I need them to start releasing the new stuff!!!
