Hey. Can we watch dramas in this app? Sorry I am new.
You mean on My Drama List? No, but there is a section above "Cast & Credits" where you have links of all official sites where you can watch certain shows. This one has only one YT link since it's not available anywhere else.

Thank you for those links! :D I already watched some subbed clips with Cai Ding on twitter after it aired and those two episodes but I would like to see the whole drama one day. Unfortunately it seems like the official YT channel won't sub them so I'll just wait and hope 'dramacool' or some other site puts English translation.

As for the avatar. Click the circle in the upper right corner of your screen, choose "Settings" and there is an option to upload profile picture (you can use gifs as well).

Welcome to XZ fans :)If you watch Our Song you'll see how incredible progress XZ has made as a singer in no time.…
Thanks! ^_^

Oh, I watched some of those performances on YT but not full episodes. I'll definitely check them out. It really is frightening how hard-working and talented he is in so many fields.

As a pretty new fan I've decided to watch all of his dramas [I skipped those where he was only a guest role] and I can say that I'm proud to be a fan of him as an actor. His progress is really visible. Also, listening to his interviews where he talks about his roles and how he approaches them is really insightful. I like when actors understand and sympathize with their characters. I think that's one of the main reasons why I came to like him so quickly. Listening to him talking about Wei Wuxian reminded me of Tom Hiddleston and how he used to talk about Loki [I was a huge fan back in the days] and that understanding of the character is something I find really captivating.

I didn't like all of his works. Super Star Academy and Oh! My Emperor were bad IMO [although I did like the character of Beitang Moran] and I found the Jade Dynasty 1 quite lacking in many aspects [although his acting was superb; those emotional scenes at the ending were some of my favourite scenes ever] but all his other works and characters are incredible. In The Untamed, Joy of Life, Heroes in Harm's Way [still waiting for someone to sub it >.<] and The Wolf, and those two short films Buying Ears and House Rules he really managed to shine and show what an amazing actor he really is. Just thinking about the differences between Yan Bingyun, Wei Wuxian and Ji Chong makes me giddy. His performances are so nuanced and he pays attention to every detail. I just love it!

Anyways, watching his progress was a joy despite me not liking all of those works. I can't wait for his other dramas to air and I really hope he keeps the role of Yan Bingyun in Joy of Life 2. I love that character and the drama in general and it would be disappointing to see someone else as Bingyun >.<

PS: I forgot to mention Fights Break Sphere but seeing how his role there really wasn't that noticeable I'll just say that his character design was gorgeous. If nothing else I would've watched it just for that, lol. The drama was entertaining tho.

True. I watched many dramas afterwards but I still can't get this one out of my head. I rewatched it three times and plan to watch 20 ep. special after I finish with The Wolf. This reminds me of my obsession with LOTR, Game of Thrones and some Marvel movies back in the days.

I cried after reading the manga, then again after reading the book and once again while watching this movie. I don't think the movie is a masterpiece (I found it quite lacking tbh) but there is something about this story that will turn you into a sobbing mess every time you come near it.

For your information we already asked (https://mydramalist.com/discussions/support/57631-ratings-shown-for-unaired-dramas) for these ratings to be reset but for some reason nothing has been done about it yet. It's not something that affected only his dramas, and either way they were rated by one person so talking about his "fans" is nonsensical. You should take your own advice.

While watching The Wolf I realized that the only female characters I've never been annoyed with are Yanli and Wen Qing. Taking into account all the dramas I've watched so far those two are definitely my favorite female characters.

I can't give you a detailed answer but I do know that they filmed in Shangri-La (https://twitter.com/xiaozhvns/status/1252189375015747584?s=20 & https://twitter.com/Aleah415147915/status/1332314286488739845?s=20).

As for the instrumental, I still haven't watched that episode so I don't know which one you're talking about but if you have Spotify there is a full OST there (https://twitter.com/xzhan1005/status/1331460683934920709?s=20) so maybe you can find it.

Hope that helps at least a bit xD

If you're reluctant because you don't want to watch any 'explicit' scenes then you don't have to worry, their relationship in this adaptation is purely platonic, no kissing or anything similar. You can view it as a strong bromance. Yibo's role and his portrayal of Lan Wangji are amazing so I would definitely recommend you to watch it if you're his fan :)

Title The Untamed
Ok so I've just watched the first episode. This is also my first historical chinese drama as well. I really want…
Strictly speaking I wouldn't call The Untamed a typical historical drama. It's xianxia which is a genre of Chinese fantasy influenced by Chinese mythology, Taoism, Buddhism, Chinese martial arts and similar. I'm not sure if you'll like it but to me (and I love historical dramas) it was better than any historical drama I've ever watched.

Actually. looking at your stats/tags I think you may like it. Smart male lead, bromance ('censored romance'), death, hidden identity, tragic past, character development, misunderstanding, childhood friends, happy ending etc. are all tags that could be applied here. The reasons why I loved it are: interesting storyline (once it all starts coming together), beautiful and complex relationships between different characters, CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT! (with 50 episodes they really had the time to explore this aspect), it's pretty angsty (I like angst) but the ending is super satisfying, also beautiful OST and costumes.

I had the similar impression after watching the first episode. I was confused and thought the CGI was super cringe, however, it's completely fine to be confused after the first two episodes. We're NOT supposed to know what's happening. Only after you finish most of the drama (if you do) you'll actually understand what those first two episodes are about. Also, if you continue watching, once you get to the flashback (episode 3) don't be impatient and consider it as an integral part of the storyline. Once the flashback ends you'll understand the first two episode.

As for the CGI, there won't be too many cringe CGI parts. There will be a few more times some bigger CGI 'monster' appears and you'll have to bear with it, but compared to everything else that's good it won't be too important (at least it wasn't to me).

Anyway, this was a long answer (sorry XD). I hope you give it a chance, continue watching and hopefully you'll end up loving it as well :D

Title The Wolf Spoiler
I have a question for people who finished watching this drama. Do they later explain why those women in ep. 11 or 12 when Ji Chong first appeared and we saw him with children were rude to him? Those children absolutely adored him but all adults ignored him which was kind of weird. I just want to know whether they'll explain what that whole thing was about? (if yes pls don't explain it to me XD)

Tbh, if you ignore the original source material [novel "Grandmaster of Demonic Cultivation"] which is BL you can view their relationship in this drama as a strong bromance. There are no explicit scenes in it, everything is pretty much platonic. Beautiful portrayal of their bond and friendship is only one of the many reasons why this show is popular.

As for the second question, not really. I'm not a big fan of romance genre in general. This drama has some of my favourite female characters but romance has nothing to do with it. I just like them for them.

If you decide to check it out there is a good chance you'll end up liking it (statistically speaking ) :D
