🙃Ingyoo aka spicy chaotic good

For starters, if all he cares for his his choreo and he wants to drill it in with no much care for formations etc, he ain't director, just a choreographer 🤣🤣 and of course the whitest girl cannot pull the choreo off 🤡🙃🤣 It was smart to just/// not let her dance 🙂

Esna was annoying, honestly he had way too much patience with her. None of her excuses made sense "I only had 15 minutes to learn it" so did everyone else. "I was in the back" - girl the choreo for that part was twerking, it's not some detailed shit you need to study up close 🤣

For the performance, for starters I wish he had stronger flash of bright light right after they throw the cig and the beat drops. Just literally flash to the beat. Grace part tho, was amazing. Styling wise gave me a bit of 5th Element. Guys, light matters so much 😭 Her in that beam of light was just perfect choice and I appreciate how during the practice he made a point to make it brighter.

The red fabric at the background? Extremely sloppy 🤡

That slide to the side was 💯🔥 But also... what was the light not on him? Why did he slide into darkness 🤣🤣🤣 Overall... why w as it so dark? The dude that did the slide was the one that "ignited" the fire, BUT HE WAS IN THE DARK. if you were not lucky enough to look at the side of the stage, you'd miss it 🤡

The ending, is what I needed in so many performance - you throw and direct the attention to the 2nd floor for the ending? THAT'S WHERE YOU DIRECT THE LIGHT 🤣 Overall, I liked the performance a lot, even if I had minor complaints 🙂

😎Bada
You gotta appreciate how she made the choreography that was not her won, that was "stolen" still feel like her own.

Me the whole performance: the glasses are glued to her face 🤡

I think her theme was far more clear. Honestly I would never get Mad Max or whatever from Ingyoo. But Bada had many visual representations of the runway. That said... does the theme match the songs? I am not sure.
Funny enough when I watched the videos on yt for the performances before the ep I liked Ingyoo's stages more, but on my second watch I like Bada's more. It has more to offer for the rewatch.
The dude that did center for Like Jennie choreo? Amazing. What an aura 🔥
And I think both her and Ingyoo had strong endings.

Now that the whole 1st round ended... I feel like everyone is a bit lost to what this show is about, including the contestants. They all emphasize the choreography the most, when the show is NOT for choreographers, but directors.

🤡 Babyjoo
First told them "freestyle" and then got frustrated when they struggled to follow all the new formations and changes coz his stage lacked structure 🤣

I kind of see the intro differently than the judges. They kept saying cute, but for me they crossed the line from cute to aggressive with how "exaggerated" they performed in terms of facial expression and it honestly did not match the lighter tone of the song for me. Babyjoo also has that expressive style, but somehow he himself balances it better than the dancers he chose. Mostly talking about the opening duo. The ones from formation later were good 🔥I am sorry, but when I am watching a performance I don't want to worry someone's gonna pull the muscle on their face 😅

Overall, the second half of the stage was so much better. The highlighted sections of duets and group dances after Where You At were perfect. The issue is - the energy of everyone dancing at the end was high and great, section went for way too long without any separation and variety.

✨NaiN
I feel like both hers and Babyjoo's first half was weaker than what followed, but also her second half was better than Babyjoo's. He relied too much on the energy. Using normal choreo on the second floor is not enough of a unique take. I feel like she did not utilized it enough. Especially since the intro was in fact relying at least a little bit on the facial expressions and the moments were in many cases not that big - you don't see it from far away.

Loved the female/male duets going on for Where You At. Simple thing, but creates clearer structure and make the performance more dynamic. Overall, she had so much more variety in the formation and it made the whole performance so much more interesting, but also easier to watch - formation leads you where to look.

And the whole dance battle at the end? 🔥 Still high energy like Babyjoo, but since there were changes on who was dancing what and when, two sides competing, it was more fun. It gave me Step Up 2 vibes 😅 And the last section? The cross formation? The fun "everyone pulling in" like an ending photo vibe? Loved it.

PS. When Anthony said there are probably best shows he saw tonight I was judging hard 🤣

she wanted to be the main character as well likeee girl choose between being a director or main character coz…
I don't even think making yourself the center of the stage is the issue, but it did not match the theme she herself created since she did not choose who from the dancers would represent the water. Kasper and Minjun also had themselves as the "fighting" force, but they also picked specific person to represent the other half of the choreo, which made the performances more cohesive and easy to follow.

You can only just post it again sadly 🥲 as a new comment

I am getting very confused ...i might have missed something but IF Han Gyu`s baby died who the heck is Han Gyeol`s…
it's not that it's not adding up, it just has not been revealed who the baby is. It will at some point for sure. As of now the most popular opinions: she adopted the baby of her bestie (maybe she died during the childbirth and the dad is not in the picture either), or Gyu Rim had twins, only one baby died. But with how Gyu Rim personality is and how the show was written and I would not put it above her to just be "unlucky" enough to find a newborn abandoned in a trash and adopting it 🤡😅

I completely understand your frustration, because in many ways it is mine too. I’m watching it as well and,…
The only true difference between your opinion and my opinion is you seeing intentionality in the vagueness of certain aspects, when I don't see that - and since the basis of out viewing experience is different, the interpretation also will be different.

As for the last paragraphs you wrote, usually I would agree and I prefer stories that leave things to interpret and not spoon-feed me everything. But for me the writer and director need to pick what they want to be ambiguous: why or how. Here they left all out of the picture. It's one thing when I watching events and need to interpret what led to it with hints and details and clues. Or when I know the ending and why it happened and then need to puzzle the how it happened. But here the writers just makes the viewer do all the work - you need to write your own middle story, come with your own idea why it happened that way and what everyone's motivations...

🙃 Hash
Sadly she went choreographer first, director second. This is 100% "Got Talent" final performance type of a deal - the highlight and focus was choreography and choreography only. And sadly I don't think she thought much about the "big picture". Example - after the group moment 1:20 minutes in the focus is on one solo dancer, but when you look behind her the transition is "dancers casually walking to their spots"... Planning your transitions and how the dancers move to their spots is also important...

My favorite part of the performance was for sure the ending, because it was the most unique and truly artistic, but also the duet after Minjun's part of the choreo - it had nice use of light and more clear focus/center bit.

🔥 Min Jun
Honestly disliked his attitude ducting the teaching part of the episode, had to mention that 🤡
This guy is FOCUSED on details and it shows. The outfits? Amazing choice. If they worse anything else, the whole opening would seem flat and we would barely see anything, but even with dim light the fabric reflected the light so well it gave the whole movements more depth. The turn transitions to give space to other half of the dancers that marched to the stage? Perfection.

Now that I'm rewatching all the stages, I think I know what I like so much about Minjun - he is really good at creating tension and then all that buildup pays off. And the ending? Probably my favorite one from the whole episode. That clap, change of colors to red and them bending down? Goosebumps.

Hash focused too much on the choreography tho. That's exactly why she lost, because this is a directing contest…
Her choreo was great, but this is NOT a dance competition. She would probably win if it was. But here they are not judging her dancing, but her directing 😅

And yeah Mnet is known with their creative evil editing so we will never be sure how much we can trust anything shown 🤡

🙂 Kooyoung
First of all this man is a handsome meme 🤣 The theme was hilarious. As for the performance, I honestly now believe creative light work is like 50% of the work that should be done, and I wish he worked on this more. The light work does not follow the story he tried to present. Good example - the girl running in the path created by the dancer was the introduction of the character she was playing in the choreo, but it was literally not highlighted at all, if the camera did not zoom on her, no one would pay attention... Or when they shot at each other during Love Shot chorus - why was everything lit the same way? why not for that shooting moment dim everything else and direct two lights on them?

Even the last show? Why is everything let? When there should almost all the focus on the first floor on her? But literally all the stage is more or less lit on the similar level. It has no lasting impact. I am kind of annoyed coz if he worked on the light more this would be actually good performance 🤡

💯Kasper
And this is how you use light to hence your stage 🔥 There was not a second when I was confused or unsure where to look and what is the focus on any given moment of the choreography. Also, comparing his structure of choreography to Kooyoung - it had so much more layers and depth. Kooyoung loves his clean everyone moves as one style, but he needs a bit more variety. Kasper's planning was far more dynamic and fun to watch. But it's also true that the set up for the chorus was better than the chorus itself for love shot.

🔥 Renan
Really surprised how well she backed back. Great attitude - she took to heart the criticisms and instead of being stubborn, she re-worked whole choreo for the second half. There were a lot of highlights in the performance. The opening was just phenomenal and probably my favorite one. I also like the formations - the A in Armageddon chorus for example. I also think it's way harder to make dancers with distinctive styles seem synchronized than making everyone look the same and "move as one". Coz if you want everyone to "love the same" it's all about repeating it until everyone does, but if you want everyone to still seem distinctive, but also as one cohesive group, it's farm more complex journey 😅

The use of second floor was also great, the quick fix to the fact Jamie could not get there on time. I think she is actually more skilled in directing than choreographing 🙂

🤡 Simeez
Probably my least favorite performance. Directing wise it was all over the place. I hate when they use props for the sake of using props. While the planform at the beginning was great, the blades were trash. He was doing the same choreo with them in hands, nothing changed not improved, it just looked awkward as fuck. Like girl legit was holding blades while making archery movement - no thought 🙂😅

Also, except for changing colors she does not know how to work with light at all. Red light, with red costumes and red make up - everything was just blending together, nothing was highlighted... And she did not even fully commit to that fire/water tribes theme. She could have picked start dancer for the water part, ONE and then make it a battle between each other with the other dances on both sides, but she was the representation of fire alone, but then for water she was like changing whom she "went against" 3 times. None of the dancers she chose stood out. There was nothing to focus on. As a viewer I did not know where to look and as a director she failed to guild the viewers to what she wanted to show.

I love Heung Sik- I think there is far more to his character, especially after the yacht thing. Maybe he has investments…
I think the whole family is rich. I mean the mom owns building is soul... that's RICH.

Doesn't Heung Sik know that the fiancé is a potential scam artist? They are friends. < yeah this is weird. But I think the fiancé's family might be "rich" but in financial trouble right now. Business is going down or something. And they are also trying to marry into a rich family to fix their own current financial issues 🤡

I always watch the performances first on youtube before the whole episode because I hate how they edit things…
Hash focused too much on the choreography tho. That's exactly why she lost, because this is a directing contest and all she offered was polished choreography. The last part with the arms and legs was honestly the only directing wise creative thing she did, and as the judges said themselves - the best part of the whole performance.

While I did like Minjun's performance more, I really disliked his attitude during the teaching choreo - really shortsighted. He wanted to cause some trouble to Hash, but honestly he mostly disrespected the dancers she worked with by not teaching them well. The same dancers he might have to work with later in the show or even outside of the show. That showed his lack of experience a lot.

yeah but again, for me it's on his place to contact them at all, even to give them money. He is by all means a stranger to them. I think the only thing he could do that seems rasonable is tell Gyuyeong to ask Gyu Rim And Gyu O if they want to meet with him. any contact should be established by them first, not him... especially since he has no idea what is their relationship with the mom, if they want to keep contact and be connected with her in any way and her new family etc.

Just watched Episode 11 and it was good. So the FML’s baby actually died right after being born, and the baby…
how did you connect it's the friend baby? Why would she even have her friend baby? They suggested the friend had husband, wouldn't he take the baby? 😅

wait... it's not her baby? 🤣 What is going on lol where the fuck did she get a new baby from? Watch her find abandoned newborn in a trash and decided to take him in 🤡

NOO YOU CANNOT END THE FLASHBACK WITHOUT TELLING ME WHERE THE FUCK DID HER SON COME FROM! 🤣

Okay one thing I like is how when she was saying sorry for leaving and abandoning him, she ended it on sorry with no excuses. It was not "I'm sorry I left, but...", it was "I am sorry." period.

And kind of props for him turning her down since he is currently in a relationship with Seo Hyeon. I do think he should break up with Seo Hyeon right away, especially now that he knows Gyu Rim loves him and wants him back, coz this is not something he will be able to move on and it will hurt Seo Hyeon more the longer they'll be together, but yeah... at least he turned Gyu Rim down for now.

Honestly, this is exactly why I think people who always give in and take care of everything and are never "selfish" in their choices are not really good people, because long term it's neither good for them nor for people around them. And it will blow up in their faces at some point, and consequences will be bigger than if they were assertive from the start.

Also, Cho Heung Sik is such an MVP 🔥 but it's obvious he knew from the start she does not have feelings for him that's why he handled it so well and that's why he did not give her answer right away - he knew it will ended at some point. Dude is pretty smart dude. Good for him.

And Cho Heung Sik's mom had valid crash out 🤣 but also this woman needs to just cut contact with Gyu Rim if she wants to, all forgive her. This whole trying to blackmail Gyu Rim into being in a relationship with her son is psychotic. It would not make her son happy anyway 🤡

I love Han Gyu Yeong as a character coz she for sure adds spice to the drama, but I also need to watch her crash and burn 🤣 And Gyu Rim should by now have a turning point to cut off of her live all the people who only cause trouble and Gyu Yeong is at the top of that list.

I need more scenes with Kim Mu Jin and Cho Heung Sik together - these are THE bet 🤣 "Dumped by Gyu Rim support group" 🤡🤣🤣🤣

"Pity is fine. Pity is still affection. In a world this cold, we should at least share some warmth" why good line from the shit dad? 🙂🤣

You know what Gyu Rim needs to do? Pack her shit and leave with no word and moved to a different city and cut all the contact with her family and start fresh 🤡🤣

"As of today, I resign as the eldest of this house" FUCK YEAH! OMG THIS IS A WHOLE AS PARTY! 🔥🔥🔥

But also, the preview gives me little hope 🤡
