Ohmygosh you are getting nearer and nearer to the iconic part. Clue: 40 plus ep HAHA 👀. The screentime of RY was actually done for audience to have a glimpse on his background so that....you will know on the latter parts. Actually this even got a controversy on the time it was airing haha Deng Lun and YZ fans threatened the production crew that they will drop the drama, it got so bad the screenwriter has to write a statement as the drama has become a hit so they don't want to anger the fans and for ppl to drop the drama.

Though this drama did not explode internationally, this drama is one of the highly rated in 2018 in China. Reached 6 billion views before the drama wrapped its run and broke the 1% TV rating 👏

I commented that way for I heard that the noise about the ML being replaced with the three choices Deng Lun, Xiao Zhan and Xu Kai is actually because of a famous douyin personality who conducted a survey and the three won. There's really no solid evidence about it and the reliable 🍉 accounts have not reported anything. And I doubt that its true at this time especially the launch of the Qinglang campaign. And sure, YZ is an A lister, the same with Deng Lun and Xiao Zhan.

As I said he experienced surge of popularity because of Ashes of Love together with Yang Zi.
Actually Deng Lun and Yang Zi become stabilized liuliangs because of Ashes of Love so Deng Lun did not milk Yang Zi for popularity, they did it together.

Deng Lun before Ashes of Love has a hit drama from 2017 in China entitled "Because of Meeting You" with 1.93% TV ratings and until now no one can beat it so I don't know where your statement is coming from, sure Deng Lun has experienced surge of popularity from Ashes of Love but not only him but also Yang Zi. Deng Lun also don't rely to CP promotions.

Strongly agree so that people who don't like too much misunderstandings like an extreme one will be warned or they be pulling hairs in their heads out of frustration.

Even though Love O2O was one of the most viewed modern cdrama before the FL scandal, since the C government ordered the banning of the FL, taking down all her works in all the platforms in China, Love O2O was disqualified now for the list of most viewed dramas in China. Their government made it seem that the drama did not even exist in the first place. There are still traces in international but in China it was gone as the wind.

The "time travel" plot is definitely banned for TV broadcast but not for web dramas and Night Wanderer is the latter.

Don't worry surprisingly it has a happy ending! Viewers really got worried on the time when it is ongoing and airing because they are afraid of being heartbroken. 😆😆😆😆

Haha! Give it a try and see if you will like it, for me I really like the plot and the leads here in Ashes of Love were a God and Goddess (I love mythology so much). And one of my most fave part is the angst arc here! Unlike in LAR where though they turned their backs in each other, you can really say they don't want to hurt each other etc. or they are just trapped between the conflicts between their race etc but here the leads went all out to each other so that's why the angst here hurt so good but it's worth it.

If you don't mind any spoilers, try to watch the opening and ending theme song of the first episode so you can look forward to what will happen though you will really understand the happenings if you will watch the drama in full.

For me, the angst here is much stronger than LAR because in LAR the FL (Xuanji) listen to the SML's (Hao Chen) mere words without evidences that cause the constant misunderstandings unlike here.......That's what I will say to you to avoid spilling more if you decide to watch it.
