I don't watch dramas based on leads' chemistry and how famous the actors are. I enjoy kdramas because of the sheer ingenuity and creativity of the people behind the production making up the total quality of the drama. Yes, actors play a very huge role in making/breaking a character of the story, but this drama just didn't deliver. I was really, really, hoping that it will soon improve after the 4th eps. and get better as the episodes progress, however it was very painful to watch. The plot/ story/ script is just all over the place. It was very sad that Kim Min Jae had been part of this. He had so much potential. As well as the other actors. Anyway, after the 14th eps. I skipped to the 32nd so that at least I can finally finish it and move on to my next drama. I'm super sad with this.
LDH is also scary in The Glory because of his revenge and also because he said he will kill for her to get her…
Me too. And also the fact that everyone around Dong Eun encouraged her to get her revenge is like had me thinking, is this the kind of society I want to be in if this happens to be real?? the apathy of the surrounding characters is unreal to me. I don't want to make light of her suffering just because I don't want the bullies killed, since I know there are plenty of victims out there who suffered far worse than what was portrayed in this drama, but I want to see her enemies destroy each other without her lifting any finger at all.
I agree with you on going after the perpetrators methodically and legally. What I want to see in this drama, and hopefully will be transcended in our society is to stop the circle of hate by pursuing "real" justice, as it should be anyway, and for both victims and bullies to find redemption through peaceful means (if possible). and yes, I'm very optimistic about it. π
rewatched some eps and really curious about LDH's character. I mean, we are talking about her majesty Kim Eun Sook here, people. it just doesn't make sense for him to be an ML for no apparent reason other than as an eye candy. right? ep8 clearly gave us a peak of who Yeo Jung is ,how he is the right person to be Dong Eun's executioner, and how he'll play it right with her to have the glory.
Edit: And the sexual tension bet. Dong Eun and Do Young while playing GO is something else, (if ever there was) coz it's electrifying.
you will hate Son ye Jin's character in this drama. I'll do everything I can to separate my son, my brother or a guy friend from the likes of her if there is someone like her I know in real life.hahaha. Joon Hee is her exact opposite.
