despite this having to much "cliche" (which is kinda expected for a "cinderella" theme love story), this is surprisingly heart warming, and have that kind of serious atmosphere to it....
those young actors (mori nana) and (kamio fuju) handles their role very maturely... love that "angst" on their acting...
also, the ost and background music is just on point.. loveeee it...
so far, the episodes which aired (1 & 2) were interestingly and beautifully crafted. hope they keep that until the last episode.
actually, this is really a TEAR JERKING DRAMA, more than ONE LITERS OF TEARS... i still haven't finished this because it's really hard to finish, not in a bad way, but this is too much HEARTACHE for me to handle... this is making my heart brake into a million pieces... so far, i think this is the saddest drama i've seen...
i'm really not into this type of series, but this really caught me, for a person who get bored easily when the series gets too draggy or repetitive... never imagined i will love every episode of this. from start to finish, everything on this was nicely done.
i don't know how to rate this. but definitely, i saw something new on ueto aya's acting, that i think is 8/10 for her, because i think she can still do better than this, but still afraid to ruin that "wholesome" image she had ever since her teenage days
i give this a 10/10. compared to other period dramas, this is fast pacing and there's no boring long dialogues. i finished this long ago, and still my favorite sageuk korean drama up to date...
i give this a 9/10 rating though this is my no.1 ranking on korean romance drama... yeah i agree, the "oppa" word is irritating sometimes. the story is not that perfect either, but i love this.
i give this a 10/10 ranking... why? because japanese aren't that good in "love story" category, but this series make my heart skip a beat or two while watching.. the feeling that most korean romance series brings to life, finally i felt that on this japanese romance themed series. i think this is the best ROMANCE DRAMA that japanese ever produced, i still haven't found a japanese series that can be compared to this one
i give this series a 10 out of 10 ranking... i just love it. that unspoken feeling of the characters, the silentness.. everything... this was i think ueto aya's best work up to date, in the love story category.
i think this was the first series i watched starring ueto aya. i kinda like this series because i love sports drama. it gives me the nostalgic feeling during my highschool days. but i still prefer ueto's "attack no.1" over this.
i love this series. because i was in a sports club during my highschool days, that's why i can relate to this. this series is really motivating and gives the feeling of "no matter what, i will make my dreams come true". that's why the ost itself, "yume no chikara" (power of dreams), sung by ueto aya herself, fits the series perfectly. i even watch this for like more than 10 times already. the feeling of youth and sports is just nostalgic to me.
but after almost 9 years, "heaven's tree" 2006 korean series was the last i think i have fallen to, and now, again, i have like a series that much... i like how the "feelings" of the main leads are overflowing... although the story isn't that new or anything out of the box, but i did fell inlove with this. and because it's only 12 episodes i can replay it over and over again... i just love it!!!
