Girllll. It’s the script, why are you blaming noeul??? Come on. Be fair. (By the way I don’t know who boss…
what they wrote was fine; “get THEM somet[h]ing better cause he [Boss] shines here”. i think you misunderstood… the comment didn’t imply that Marcia dislikes BossNoeul

I remember when I finished the manwha, posting here that some people will be dissappointed because the trailer…
all i saw was ppl complaining that bc the company asked not to post screencaps of the intimate scenes that they were expecting MORE from those scenes LOL. honestly i feel like the scenes are well done. less and you kind of lose an important part of the story (and like you said, it really is a big part of the plot), more and at least for a live action it might feel excessive haha

i wonder if he’s just not super interested in acting? he was my bias in SPEED and when i saw that he had a main role (Tasty Florida), i was so excited. even more so to find that his acting was really quite decent. but it’s basically been crickets since!

I'm confused about what happens between episode 3 and 4. How does Prosecutor Ju go from callously taunting Chaeha…
I think Tae Seon WANTED to hate Chae Ha because he had been conflating Chae Ha with Gil Young.

The first issue is that Chae Ha seems genuinely kind and, frankly, like a pushover. There are some who find enjoyment in treating such people poorly—but because Tae Seon was specifically was targeting Chae Has to vent his anger over the murder of his father, I think that immediately started to create distance between Chae Ha and Gil Young in his mind. So seeing Chae Has as a separate entity from his father, Tae Seon instead sees that Tae Seon and Chae Ha have lost their fathers and have suffered for it. And that he is contributing to Chae Ha’s suffering.

That being said, even during the intimate scene at the end of episode 4, Tae Seon saying he doesn’t want to see Chae Ha’s face… It’s clear he still hasn’t completely managed to separate Chae Ha from the murder his father supposedly committed.

Beyond that, Tae Seon at least to some degree has doubts about whether Gil Young is the real murderer. Basically his anger was misdirected at Chae Ha, which he realises, but I think subconsciously he’s feeling that even his anger at Gil Young may misdirected.

I kept thinking he looked familiar the entire time I was watching The Lie We Lived In so I came to his MDL page…
there was some contestant in one of the survival shows years ago who i think was trying to be an actor before applying for the show. he dyed his hair pink at one stage. and i swear he was knitting or crocheting at one point. i can’t for the life of me remember his name but i swear he looks like this guy LOL

i still find it funny that Tae Jeong didn’t stop for a second to consider—why Dong Hwa had a hidden basement. Or why he had a cage in his hidden basement. LOL

Am I right to assume that you're talking about the one who played Kang Yohan in The Devil Judge? Because I 100%…
That’s the one! I’ve been a fan of Ji Sung for SO long but I still can’t quite work out what similarities Yoon Do Gun shares with him; side by side, they look completely different. Maybe it’s the overall vibe 🤭

the fact that he did all the stunts/fights himself in Payback because it’s his first main role and he felt it would be more authentic… i love it when you come across an actor whose acting you like and then all of the little things you learn later just make them better and better.

anyway, his eyes are so pretty, his face is so beautiful and his style is 🔥🔥🔥

(also—Boys Planet never beating the Gay Planet allegations)

Honestly, there are a lot of actors who lose weight for a role. And there are actors who gain weight for a role. At the end of the day, there will always be actors who do this. Not all will, and of course makeup, wardrobe, prosthetics, etc. can often be used to dramatically change someone’s look. BUT rightfully viewing acting as art, I can see why there are actors who will still make the physical change themselves; in the same way, those who do ballet on pointe are also doing damage and THEY KNOW IT but CHOOSE TO.

I think the important thing, just how ballerinas have physiotherapists and so on, is that these actors are accessing mental health resources and that there are people keeping them as “healthy” as possible when they make these extreme physical changes which will be so extreme on the body. I’m not sure this would be the case in such countries as SK where mental illness and mental health support is kind of taboo, though.

I also wish actors would publicly acknowledge that it is not healthy.
