yes, he would’ve had more songs produced but now he has a more rich repertoire and became a very unique artist.…
there definitely a lot of idols who compose their own music. even if the group he would have debuted in, there is a lot of experimentation and the members have a lot of input in their songs.
but i agree that his repertoire would have looked much, much different than it does now and frankly he has some absolutely beautiful songs. it would be a shame to have never heard them.
i genuinely think the biggest issue would have been that he would have faced the same treatment as so many other idols who venture into acting; there are fans who don’t like when idols act (especially when there are scheduling conflicts). often this results in people trying to get members removed from their group; it’s really unfortunate.
in any case, i’m really glad he has been so successful in his chosen path and that we get to see so much of his art (acting and singing and everything else) 🥰
when he didn’t debut with NCT i was so sad. but i’m glad that he didn’t because, frankly, i think his career is much more interesting and has been much more fruitful in acting. he acts really well; his micro expressions are great especially when his characters have been betrayed.
and as an actor he can still sing, release music if he wants, etc. but if he had have been an idol, any acting gigs would have been few and far between (and there would be a lot of criticism from fans as there always is when idols take on roles outside of their group).
i really hope he is booked and busy with main roles from now on!!! i only have seen him in My Royal Nemesis and When the Phone Rings but have become a big fan :)
Had big expectations for this drama. It had a good start but it’s fizzing out for me 🥺 I hope it picks up…
I feel like I was disappointed in the start then really excited now a little bit underwhelmed again LOL not the kind of rollercoaster I expected/wanted
Has he started working as soon as he was born ... The list of projects he has done is so long..
Haha it’s because he was in the kpop group SF9. The way variety shows are ordered in MDL is kind of weird, sometimes; for example, he wasn’t actually performing on Music Bank in 1998, it’s just when Music Bank first aired. And most idols/ex-idols will have HEAPS of variety show appearances because even if they only appear in one episode out of thousands, it will be listed!
I loved it. Is this really Jin Yun first drama? He did amazingly well, and the emotions he delivered through his…
I thought the same about Jin Yun! And it makes me sad that he hasn’t acted in anything else because he seems really talented. As soon as I finished this I decided to watch the rest of his dramas—only to find that by watching See Your Love, I already had watched them all🤭
i love how in the next ep preview cha segye is running for shin seori but stops to look at his reflection to make himself all nice and tidy first 🤭 i really love this so much BUT wish all of the episodes dropped at once!
I REALLY REALLY want to watch this 😭 but i can't wait for one week for a single episode 😩 please tell me…
i think it’s two eps per week, no? but either way—i started watching a regret it LOL. i really like it. i’ve been waiting all week for the next episodes 😭
what the f*** they did? She just transitioned into modern clothes and modern society all at once! Why are they…
Where was she going to continue to find those older clothes? The ones in her apartment are all regular clothing. It would make less sense for her to navigate this new time period to find old clothes rather than wearing what is in her closet.
I’ve recently finished My Love Patzzi and Attic Cat and adored both! It’s amazing how hard him and Dabin (bless…
Attic Cat was one of the first dramas I watched and it will always hold a special place in my heart! Seeing your comment, I feel like I’m due for a rewatch 😌
Her so called trauma is such a fucking joke - this woman needs professional help for exaggerating
“Justify”? She’s sleepwalking. There is nothing to justify or not justify. She also doesn’t know she’s done it after the fact so she can’t correct try to address the behaviour. In reality, the ML absolutely should have told her what he witnessed.

eh, if i had a famous parent who publicly pretended i didn’t exist for 30 years despite having known about me and having had contact with me, i think i would be messed up. even more so if, when the secret essentially could have been revealed, that parent instead publicly pretended not to know me in a cruel manner. so while this person gets recognised by everyone, while you have to see this person everywhere—they’ve rejected you.
even before being COMPLETELY rejected by her mother, dam ye jin was kept hidden. if this were real life, even that would be enough to cause trauma to someone (especially as a little kid; even if you don’t REALLY know what is happening, you would get a sense that you are being hidden—which would feel like being rejected, being unloved, not being good enough, being the second choice [to the mother’s career] etc.)
