i think it would be difficult because the jump is only 10 years and i believe han yeong would be an adult both before and after the time travel; in reality, appearance would only really change in terms of looking a bit young/older. it’s not like casting a child actor and an adult actor where you can easily suspend belief. i wonder if they will be using makeup, styling and special effects to make the time travel more believable?
either way, i think if they were to cast an actor for before/after time travel, it would be ji sung for after the time travel. guess it could still happen? i don’t think cast is fully confirmed BUT yeah, i think it’s unlikely that they’ll do that
also lmfao at people saying yun jae is homophobic because he—can’t believe that/understand why his gf turned into a boy???? imagine if this happened to you in real life LOL
it’s not homophobic just because the girlfriend presumably does not stay a guy. there are shows where people have switched bodies with people of the same sex—but no problem there? there are shows where people have switched bodies with animals—but it’s not speciest for them to switch back? not EVERY show is focused on sexuality, or not every show is focused primarily on the same.
it seems likely the focus here is on love that knows no bounds. are they using a gender-swap to show that? yes. could it be argued that there’s a queer element there? yes. but that doesn’t mean having the girlfriend’s “soul” or whatever return to her original body is homophobic!!! also just because the source material is tagged as lgbt+ (which i believe it it, it doesn’t mean this will be; both because adaptations don’t always follow source media but also because, while south korea has been releasing some great lgbt+ media recently, it’s still not super widely accepted)
People keep asking if it’s a BL or not. I mean, isn’t it obvious it’s not? There’s no tag for it and even…
also it’s just obviously not, i feel? like, isn’t the concept clearly more that he loves his partner for who they are (so even though they ‘turned’ into a boy)… of course they could keep ji eun as a boy but i doubt they will because the ending/finale is likely her returning to her actual body lol
Those 2 minutes + opening + "oh.. he's still holding him" made me get a little worried about this having 14 episodes,…
laughing because i haven’t watched it yet, i’ve literally seen ONE clip and i know exactly what you mean and relate to “oh… he’s still holding him” LOL
all of the parallels between The Ex-Morning and Singto and Krist’s real life/dynamic are making me so emo LOL. especially the conversation outside of the bar at the end of part 3. the real life misunderstanding and the series misunderstanding… ouch 🥲
ooh i just happened to click back here—and i only have to wait a day now! i honestly thought the release date wouldn’t have been announced yet. i am buzzzzing!!!
As for your comment on his looks, it’s all subjective. In my opinion, he is one of the most handsome actors—but beyond that, his acting is really good. I think ZZH being blacklisted is partly why his fans are so loyal; we were excited to see more from him and then he was blacklisted. It’s such a shame….
i love this so far. before it aired so many people were questioning minhyun playing gamin but i was hopeful—he definitely is not a disappointment! the only thing i hate… is the wait every week for the new episodes haha

i usually don’t mind spoilers but this is potentially spoiling the biggest plot point of the whole show LOL

Song of Youth! :)
