The action scenes in this drama are very well executed but Shen Du is breathtaking when he is on screen. As for the kisses. The way he embraces Yan Xing and the intimacy it conveys is just beautiful.

Of course I suspect that FL has an important secret identity. She might be coming from Yunleo as well and she could be the illegitimate daughter of the Prince Qi.
Because this would explain why she knows Yunleo cuisine and why she was raised by one of the "Yan sisters" after the death of Prince Qi.

FL said that people there are beautiful. So I would not be surprisd if Prince Qi had fall in love with a noble lady in Yunleo.

I think that her master is one of the" Yan sisters" and the clay cat she entrusted her, carries a proof of Prince Qi's tragedy leading to ML's father fraiming.
Now, that proof is in ML's hand and I hope it stays there because SML's mother must not take possesion of it.
I think that SML's mother and the Emperor are in cahoots concerning the massacre of Yunleo.
SML's father was killed by one of those two.

The Pei family owns a private army, wich means that they are ready to rebel.
As a result, they should have a secret alliance with Wei State .
This could explain why SML wants to know what Wei state envoye Minister Teng is hiding from him. And this is also why he forcibly keeps FL by his side.

Pei Family might be allied with Wei State in the business of arm dealing and human traffiking. They might be plotting a coup.

They are running on each other, stabbing each other ... so no.

It 's too bad because Ryan could have dubbed his own voice in a lower tone. Like Wang Xing Yue did in "The Double". It would have serviced the role much better. And I am sure the ratings would have been higher.

I am not able to recognize the dubber's voice yet, nor do I know their names. But it would be disturbing to here the same dubbers in several dramas, one after another.
I can understand the chinese audience.

Yes you will because unfortunatly she has a lot of scenes with LLZ, the antagonist.
You might miss plot points if you do.
I surffered those scenes as well but I had to watch them for the plot although I could not stand LCC ( behaviour and voice)

I also thought that she would pay for being clueless and colluding with LLZ but NO. At the end she survived/ Moreover, the lovable Marshal Xu and Yue Que had to die. *sigh*
