Male Lead is not a simp to me. From the start they were not a couple in private. They are faking it in public. And yes, Male Lead is making his move. But it is not to much in my opinion. So definitly not a simp.

It would be a sad ending (^_^) Yes, Female Lead is a man at heart who discovers the limitation women face in this era. Indeed, she has to adjust. So in the eyes of everybody a woman saves her family but we know that she is a guy.

I think that in her mind, Male Lead doesn't remember her and he could even be in love with someone else. ( Condition number 3 of the marriage, he said: you are not the one I want to marry).
