I’m Like everyone else about this drama the way the FL was written is the absolute problem. The writers couldn’t…
To me FL was afraid of love and she did all she could to focus on her job. Until Shen Du won her over. She was the most annoying but I focus my experience on Shen Du and the investigation.
It's a bad idea to watch this drama after Love Game in Eastern Fantasy...the first episode was decent but I just…
Indeed, FL is always sulking or childish. Ding is marvellous playing Shen Du. But FL is annoying and her friend Chui Chui with the child voice is also annoying. Otherwise it is a great drama. Enjoy. https://mydramalist.com/profile/unbeliebubble/reviews/386525
Me neither. So weird. The girl born out of thin air.
This is indeed sad for Su Yin who could not move on. It is beautiful and sad at the same tie, if I think of him. It reminds me of another drama in which FL chose to stay in the game.
Summary : At the end of the Qing Dynasty, the court was suffering from external and internal troubles, and it was urgent to gather people's hearts and inspire people's patriotic enthusiasm to support the court. In order to promote the country's prestige and encourage martial arts practice, Empress Dowager Cixi decided to hold a world-famous Lion King Championship at Li Hongzhang's suggestion. At that time the "Baozhi Lin Pharmacy" was established. Aunt Thirteen, who was traveling with Huang Feihong at Majiapu Station, met her old classmate Russian Du Wenqi. Later, she learned that the Russians wanted to assassinate Li Hongzhang. With the greater good at heart, she resolutely participated in the Lion King Conference and successfully rescued Li Hongzhang. Presenting Li Hongzhang with strategies to govern the country.
Summary : This film is adapted from the traditional Chinese folk tale "The Case of the Beauty". Chen Shimei, a poor student who became the top scholar in high school, abandoned his wife and son to seek fame and fortune and became a son-in-law of the Emperor. His wife Qin Xianglian traveled all the way to Beijing to look for her husband. Chen Shimei not only refused to acknowledge her, but also sent people to harm her mother and son, causing Qin Xianglian to be imprisoned unjustly. After Bao Zheng learned the truth, he cleared Qin Xianglian's grievances. The princess and the Queen Mother repeatedly blocked Bao Zheng from handling the case, but Bao Zheng remained unmoved and risked offending the emperor's relatives at the cost of losing his reputation. He resolutely brought Chen Shimei to justice and sentenced him to the guillotine.
Summary : With Lin Chong and Song Jiang as the two main lines, this film retains the plots in the original work of "Water Margin" such as Lu Zhishen uprooting the weeping willows, punching to conquer Guanxi. Lin Chong's wind in the snow-capped mountain temple, and 108 heroes drowning in Liangshan. The story is about heroes who were forced to rebel in Liangshan and agreed to recruit troops but failed.
I disagree. Ofc Sa Eon had a hard up bringing but the WHOLE show was about his development and learning to over…
First, don't accuse the writers : the writer said that they have been rushed to end the writting. Read this post from her official statement on twitter : https://mydramalist.com/766179-the-number-you-have-dialed#comment-20261924 I suppose that the all crew was rushed to finish the filming too. Is it because of the network? No clue. But I am glad her statement confirms my suspicion : they cut the previous work they made. Because I couldn't believe that with such great writting since episode 1, the last episode would be so different from the whole show. I am reassured. They are good writers and crew.
Secondly, The drama wasn't about Sa Eon's "development and learning to over come" his upbringing. It would be a psychological drama. No, it is a thriller. The drama was a spy game during which Sa Eon never talked because he was holding a lot of secrets and he was playing aginst an invisible mastermind. So yes he regretted. But regretting isn't healing. In real life people have regrets about their life an then they make suicide attempts. Sa Eon went to punish himself, the same way those people try to die. This is why this character is so well written. He is very human.
I am not trying to convaince you. This is my opinion. I just reacted to your review because I felt that the Sa eon you depicted was emotionless and one-dimensional. He was not the very human-like Sa Eon that I watched in the drama.
Thank you for taking the time to give your feedback. I appreciated .
I suspected that. Indeed they rushed episode 12 because they had to finish the filming for airing schedule. Too…
Yes but more than that. I got the impression they released the drama sooner than expected or they told the writers that they had to finish at the last minute. Because I feel that such good writting cannot end like this. They wronged the screenwriters. I have the feeling they wrote a good ending but they had to summerize it in one episode. You are write we notice more the flaws in good dramas.
Yes it feels good to get a validation about what you, I and the non misled people felt. I don't say we, because of all the people led by this false controversy due to bad subtitles. We means everybody, so I will refrain from saying that. However, I understand what you mean. No worries.
You just disregarded that Sa Eon had a trauma at a very young age. And he was harrassed all his life after that. So his reactions of self punishment is human and understandable. The critic you are making would make of him an emotionless robot.
As for the hostage liberation in Argan. This is not how the events are depicted in the novel. They rushed the ending in one episode. In my opinion, they should have extended the plot over 3 episodes to narrate the journey of Heejoo as a volunteer in the school and the rest of the story.
Yes, they summurized the Argan arc in 1 episode and this is the only big flaw of the show.
"why fl forgave her mother "? Because she is her mother. Parents ,children and siblings. always forgive one another…
Hmmm. Yes the mum thinks that she saved HeeJoo from poverty. Another delusional attempt at findind an excuse to justify her harrassment and child abuse. I think that, the mother would like to use HeeJoo as a trophee because Sa Eon and HeeJoo are still on TV and in the Blue House. Moreover, parading with HeeJoo everywhere would give her ways to gaslight people and restore her lost prestige. She can keep dreaming.
I liked that they chose the sweet Chief Hong as a barrier. He is the sweetest and in this situation, he becomes the strongest.
HeeJoo's Character development is so beautiful. I wish it can help codependent people or abused people to understand the pattern of abuse and snap out of it.
As for the true story. Thank God, this narcissist did not kill her. But he might have killed her financially. Why? Because Narcissists love money, they are often involved in embezzlemnts because they like using people as tools and they like prestige. And We all know that money give prestige. So they like monney. I don't know but I suppose that the woman paid for the wedding and the honey moon. So this is also why this narcissist led her to this point. He milked her financially and left her in a difficult situation. For him this also was his revenge. What a jerk.
Did you hear about the misintepretation contravery? :)It's not difficult to test it on your own if you don't believe…
This is when I think it is a pity that sites like dramacool are down because those are huge libraries with everything available. Too bad. Because all the very ancient dramas and movies are on those type of platform. Things you can never find on Prime, netflix or viki. When dramacool was working, everytime I wanted to watch a hard to find kdrama j-drama from 1990's or 2000's I could find it there. :/ really a pity. Regarding subs. they were good on this platform.
Not bad. I thought it would be very bad. I was wrong. The first episode feels like douyin micro drama, but from episode 2 the pacing, the vibe, the story everything changes and it gets better and better. So I ended up liking it and gave it a 7.5. Consequently, if you want to give it a try don't take in account the first episode only. Of course it has it flaws but it is enjoyable .
Ok I just got informed of what they have done and oh my god I am beyond disgusted!! Amidst the ongoing genocide…
This a bad translation of netflix subtitle. Read this post. The misunderstanding has already been cleared. This controversy never reached South korea because they understand Korean language. Blame it on the subbing team of netflix. Not the drama. https://mydramalist.com/766179-the-number-you-have-dialed#comment-20189214
