I'm on ep17 now, tbh it didn't capture my interest as much as I hope to. I find myself searching and looking at other series. But since I invested 17hrs already, might as well finish it. I originally don't like the ML actor, I find that he doesn't fit my image for that role. He's not bad tho, but I was really hoping I'd come to love him as episodes progress (like how I normally do with other actors), but it didn't happen. Hence, I feel cringed here and there on some scenes. And mind you, I'm not even caught up with any LuSi pairing, I think she's shippable with all other partners she had. But Idk, Chen ZeYuan is really not it for me. :/ on the positives, I think the best aspect of this show for me is the FL and her brother's relationship.
If you find out ket me know. I went mental after reading 3 lines
true, xianxias and historical plot are hard enough to understand even with good subs. it's a no go for me even if I adore Reba and GongJun. will just wait and see for good subs.
Although I like Song Wei Long, I'm kinda offended for Victor Ma. I actually find him more attractive than the ML in Hidden Love, he can definitely play a lead role. Anyway, I probably need more context so I'll go and read the manhuas and novel
is this good so far? somehow YangYang for me is like LeeMinHo, they're both topstars and have big fanbase but for some reason their shows do not click with me.
DJX says in the drama when they started dating, they only have 5yr gap
There's no way that girl in the flashback is 14, and so is her whole class. They look 11 at best. And the way the script is in the next eps feels like she's close to 14 or 15, they don't treat her like someone who is supposedly 17 and close to adulthood.
I think somebody pointed out that they originally plan for a 7 year gap but changed mind post production and dubbed over some lines pertaining to their age. I hope they just stayed consistent with the original idea, instead of confusing audience.
ep6 now. It's so cute and feel good. But for my own sanity, to reconcile how FL looks and acts in these episodes, I'd say she was 11 in the flashback and then 15 the next time they met again. So make it 7 year age gap, I don't mind at all
She's 14 in the first episode (8th grade)Then in episode 2, she's 16 to 17 years (11th grade)While the ML is 19…
that explains it then, because I've already factored in the 'asian genes' and still those kids look nowhere like teens. Also episode 2 FL, I supposed, was originally meant to to be younger then? LuZi is baby face but she seems to be portraying way younger than 17.

Thank you. was wondering why they casted a much younger child actress. She's probably around 11 when they shot it, she doesn't look 14 at all. I heard some people comments on the age gap, I don't mind it, but kinda get how some would see it weird seeing adult ML and a child FL. Would probably have helped if they casted a more teenage looking actress for the flashback.

They invested so much money in production and seriously they cannot hire professional subbersðŸ«
does anyone know where to watch this with good subs?
I can't seem to find complete english chapters

so you're saying ep2 (when she helped her brother move things to the dorm) she's 17?
The child actress looks about 11 or 12? and how old is she supposed to be now in ep2?
