This is the 2nd drama I’ve seen Wu Jin Yan (FL) in and both are on my top lists of fav costume dramas. The progress was absolutely entertaining from the beginning. Only tiny fault is the last ep… although I was satisfied with the ending it still wasn’t enough for me, needed more or maybe less?
ML whole persona was simply one of my favourite as well…there is nothing like a smart female lead to make me fall in love with a drama but a smart FL with an even smarter, strong ML are the best recipes for an amazing watch. 👌🏼 Highly recommended. Watched it in 2 days and love every bit of it.
This was so unexpectedly bad 😂 barely gotten past the overacting and the bad fighting scenes in the first few eps. But I can see that it’ll be a fun drama for those mainly wanting silly sitcom comedy type (it’s design for it)…but it’s a pass for me.
I was waiting for Ina’s boyfriend reveal to be the firefighter’s toddler son that ML mentioned his friend left behind. I thought it would happened in ep 11 at the dance show when he finally saw ML and looking like he regonized him but it ended without any reveal..it would make an interesting plot line to add for a 2nd season though. New couple in the making linked by fate and a brother that can summoned things/ people from the past just by thinking and looking at their photos…he would be perfect as a detective 😂
My goodness.. OST was amazing! And I’m one to rarely pay attention to such things. Dropped this on 3-4 episodes in when it first came out but so glad I picked it up again and continued on. Good chemistry between leads made for a great watch!! 👌🏼
Those phone conversations are actually very poetic and beautifully written. It may be the translation that’s…
I wasn’t referring to the ph conversations themselves…just the timely interuptions of the phone ringing whenever the leads gets closer (personally) It ridiculously happened way too many times in this drama
She tried to kill both of them. The eldest-born son, the most likely to inherit, was definitely the most important…
Yes this is the case…chairman’s 3 children - 1 got disowned & the other 2 weren’t business savvy…the grandchildren were a business obstacle so getting rid of them also makes sense…that plus she controls the chairman with predictions of bad events that she herself created to come true & being there through his grief is a controlling tactic for her fraud.
Not as bad as everyone seem to constantly poing out 🙄 But on a different note…did production forgot to hire a hairdresser for FL? I mean I can understand that her hairstyle brings out a softer look they want for her character…hair down weirdly makes her look spunky, catty & quite the extra girl next door look but the ending should have some effort put into it. Overall is a decent drama to pass the time.
on 2nd episode and it feels overrated.. will try again later maybe
Keep watching…I was in the same boat…watched the first 4 eps on the 2nd week it was released & stopped, plot direction & script wasn’t to my liking at all & rolled my eyes at all the fuss with its ratings…..took having some serious boredom to continue it again today & quite frankly I’m sitting here upset that I have to wait a whole week for new eps. Script came back around & both leads are more than likeable, even got teary & most of all the plot is unfolding on a great fast track.. making me curious how they’re gonna keep the memento up for the next 6 eps since dragging plot twists till the end aren’t a thing here. I’m torn between waiting for completion to enjoy the rest of the eps in one go or reward my curiosity & watch eps after their release each week… but then I get the feeling my impatience side is not gonna like that at all. 😫
coz she was a spoiled brat (this is how her char at that age is described in the novel, and in drama SZ is exactly…
She’s a diversity actress…I get that she can pick up any work. Her age & character she picks is not my issue….a student her age in this drama can be consider a young women but her a playing a dense immature one and dragging it for majority of the drama wasn’t what I was expecting…of course that doesn’t deter me from enjoying her works but this particular one was a hard pass. I get it & like I mention that’s ok since this type of romance isn’t my cup of tea…in fact I don’t watch most dramas for the romance part but would enjoy it if acompanied with complex or interesting plot. This drama as whole just didn’t hit the mark & it blows my mind that it gets higher ratings than some great ones out there. But that could be me being bias. If you were to replace the main leads with lesser popular actors this would be considered a flop. Smart move on production but having good looking actors with chemistry shouldn’t beat great written dramas with high quality plots out there in ratings. 🤷🏻♀️
Choi Ro Sa got off too lightly 🙄 can’t stand it when writers redeems characters right in the end after spending the whole series writing about their harmful manipulations 🤦🏻♀️

It would make sense but honestly don’t want to see it again…perhaps the high expectations came from picking this up right after watching Who Rules the World & not to mention that the ratings are over exaggerated even if I can see all the valid points for it. But that’s the way of things….i can except that my cup of tea is simply not the same as most ppl who claims this is the best drama out there. 🤷🏻♀️

It doesn’t get better if you’re annoyed with that to be honest….i finished it but couldn’t stand her in this. That’s saying a lot when she’s one of my top 3 C-drama actresses 😔 I keep waiting for her smart, strong & charismatic character to appear but this wasn’t it. This is simply a fluffy predictable crush-turn romance between a dense high schooler & Oppa friend…would have been a decent watch if I hadn’t gone in with high expectations but wasn’t expecting her to go back to playing such a silly dense character when she’s done so well with great smart outspoken ones in the past.
It wasn’t too long from when he found out himself…I think he found out at the end of ep 17-18 & she became aware about 3 ep later. So my best guess is ep 21

Unfortunately nothing about Gaus Electronics is funny to me. 😔
