I rather want to see him turn into psycho, why that privilege mostly given to 2fl only. Why kdrama writers don't…
Like I said it’s not even that deep as you all make it out to be. People can be friends with feelings as long as they never crossed the boundaries in the first place…they will get over it. If they did date, kiss and ect then different story.
What is everyone’s issue with SML? It wasn’t even that deep & the guy knew his boundaries even though he was in love…hard thing to let go without turning into a psycho. Would take this over the many evil second lead characters in most dramas.
Most of his dramas he has less screen times, but for this one i love how he got so much screen times and his character…
If you priotise romance just hold out till after the first 20 or so episodes on both Yanxi palace and Story of Minglan. Both of these are slow on this department but so worth it later on. Both are like hidden gems, it starts slow but the more you watch the more you will obsess although Minglan i would say is one of the best well written drama plot I’ve seen in any Asian or western dramas.. but slow beginning that can only be enjoyed after a re-watch. It has every topic and manage to make it look good from comedy to romance and even got me interested in war 😂

It’s really good…it’s in my top 3 alongside the drama- Story of Minglan and Nirvana in Fire. I highly appealed to smart leads in dramas. All are long dramas but worth the watch.
This copy-paste, convoluted trash just is too much. from appeasement of a class to delusions it goes pretty fast.…
Just had a looked at your watch list…you clearly got next to no taste so I won’t fault you for your weirdly exaggerated hate. There is dislike as well as negative criticism (both are fine) and then there is this. I would really like to go into details regarding copy-paste in the entertainment industry but I honestly can’t be bothered since you are clearly here to spread your hate
Can I also say that it’s really nice to have both leads written with non toxic backgrounds or family!! Especially from a ”Rich” ML….it wasn’t perfect but realistic and supportive nevertheless. Well done to the writers 👏🏼 OST was also good but the writers and Mains did it for me 💜
Holy shit... is the FL died at the last extra episode, where she's seeing the ML on the bicycle like how they…
Yeah this was what they ment. When in Germany after the breakup she asked him “is this what love is to you” He replied by saying something like love for him is growing and nurturing for many years together and something to look back to and enjoy during or after death.
He left first but he held on to the “forgiveness” card for her because she told him when their kids were young that she will never forgive him if he leaves first.
And in her passing right in the end she thought of him and having flash backs. In my interpretation at the end of the flashbacks where she is on the bike and he was in the car…that was him waiting for her after death & they finally reunite
Was never a fan nor a hater of Xu Kai. I’ve seen quite a few of his dramas and he was just there for me… but this one..yes this one he finally hooked me 😂 signed…sealed…delivered On the floor dragged and hooked lol
Yes that’s pretty much what the plot is insinuating. Rongqing was also dealt an unfair fate since the beginning of the drama…so him going back also makes sense
I have a question.. why sometimes in Cdramas we see they put the wedding ring on index finger or middle finger?…
This could be just me but I remember hearing somewhere that they wear engagement ring on the middle finger and wedding ring when married is on the normal finger.
What is this train wreck… -I can excuse the kindergarten romance with 2 lousy kisses throughout and a marriage that commence in ep1 but only became a real couple if they ever were in the end. Not to mention useless misunderstandings & no chemistry whatsoever mainly from the FL’s character. -I can also excuse the the poor CGI and the non-existent or maybe forgettable OST. But lack of character relation, banter, writing, some seriously poor acting and plot was just mind blowing bad 😂 48 episode of not a single decent banter or something funny was surreal. I mean if all of the characters were to be kill off I wouldn’t feel bad at all…maybe all except the Nanny in ML’s household. Lol. All the character’s writing was just so disconnected. And that bracelet that was a strong plot direction from ep 1 slowly disappeared and was never mentioned again in 2nd half till the end which itself was a mystery of plot holes. The only deserving character here that got me continuing was the ML and I’m not even sure I’m a fan. I skipped a lot and I mean ALOT to get to the end so I guess I wasn’t disappointed so much with wasting my time but I can finally cross this off from my watchlist.
It happens more often that you think in the real world. I should know 😂 now happily married with 2 kids to…
Yes it’s very frowned upon there…Korea has one of the world’s lowest birth rate and was illegal to have abortions for this reason but I think they changed that a few years ago. Not because of changes in birth rate but I think for women’s right and safety cause many risked their lives to abort unplanned pregnancy. I think that’s why they put in dramas to encourage women to keep them and to think negatively towards abortions. Just my thoughts though…since China do these with their dramas regarding banning certain topics to be highlighted in their media industry.
