Her cheating assš¤¦š½āāļøThey are going to break up again
How was that cheating? š¤·š»āāļø She only accepted him after she explained and broke it off with Min Junā¦and their whole relationship he knew she was still in love with a guy from her overseas trip but he took the risk to be with her regardless of her situation. Her actions were completely appropriate for someone in her situation. Even before she left Min Jun he knew it was gonna happen which is why he wasnāt angry abt it.
This reminded me of the 2 dramas- The Double and Story of Ming Lan ā¦some of their plots were like copy & paste but here it lacked the intensity since the schemes in the other 2 were written in canny & ingenious thought out steps. But those dramas are very hard to beat in comparison to their creative & brilliant writing, acting & production/directing. They are some of the few rare costume dramas with the full package. So it didnāt help this drama at all to be reminded & compared to the other 2.
But I did checked the writers for this drama & considering their previous works they are either new or may not be elites in their field but I hope they continue with these types of writingā¦can only get better from here & they still did a good job to entertain the viewers ā¦.in fact the switch from siblings to lovers was done quite well than what I expected.
Back againā¦not sure if this is my 7th or is it 8th time re-watching this? But need me some dose of intellectual yet fun writings cause itās certainly lacking out here at the moment. š¤
Ohhhh people donāt like it when romance is portrayed with no butterflies & sunshine š¤
Itās not something new in the K-drama or C-drama world (for those thinking itās abnormal) but it is rare to see 2 well known romcom favs playing leading roles to one. Itās not gonna be everyoneās cup of teaā¦not fluffy for the Romantics and itās not deep enough for the trillers lovers although itās points are certainly ment to be taken seriously. Itās just Life in a darker perspective..realistic yet not really. Gotta be in the right set of mind to enjoy this.
Rom Com is lliterally my most watched genre;it's true that I prefer thril the most but as someone who has watched…
Romcoms arenāt my fav and like you Iāve seen a lot since itās K-dramas fav genre but it does sound like what you were expecting & was lacking here isnāt always a strong point for this genreā¦itās ment to be light comedy mix with romance for viewers to enjoy and not always to take too seriously to lifeās point of view. 12 episodes should also be a indicator of that. Perhaps if you had watched it with a different mindset or timing you would see why many enjoyed this. Not dissing you on that cause I honestly sometimes re-watched some shows years later and realised I hated it the first time because I was mentality not ready for them before⦠especially when I watched them between thrillers.
Butā¦but ummm it literally state that main genres are romance & comedy šš»āāļø Not sure abt the ātrashā part but thatās a pretty big call to call something that when this type of dramas are clearly not to your liking judging from your watchlist. I Personally donāt see it as a standout plot but it certainly was written well & executed nicely with meaningful character growth so it doesnāt deserve that! If you donāt like then fineā¦but calling it trash is a word youāre only entitle to use if youāve completed the whole drama.
Iām on ep 10 and they are trying so hard since ep1 to make the FL look perfect & pretty that Iām starting to judge itā¦like why she out there in the desert looking like a pale ghost where she gets kidnapped, roughed up & lost her ppl with all her belonging yet not a hair was loose, heavy makeup intact and she continued her journey with her 24/7 perfect lipstick.. itās so obvious & distracting.. total production fail š«
Edit: Finished The more I watched (skipped a lot) the more itās flaws kept intensifying to the point where itās so cringing I couldnāt even make excuses anymore for the very Very poor Directing, dull writing with itās plot holes & cast lacking in their roles. Why the ML even here? Iām not a fan but Iāve seen him in decent dramas ⦠this is such a step down. He needs to fire his manager š This whole drama is out here smelling cheap by the end of it even though they tried to make everything looked perfectā¦ratings makes total senseš¤
Iām shocked the judges werenāt corrupt & bought!š¤ It was good watching it. Great movie/production considering that length. Everything was packed in, flowed well, great acting and plot unveiled accordingly. It didnāt need 10 plus episodes to explained the little details since the writers did an excellent job. The FLās end decision was also very human/realistic & I loved it even more šš¼
I came to read comments to see if I should continue watchingā¦.
Itās not bad.. itās more the fact that Iāve seen so many of similar dramas that this fell short. I couldnāt warm up to the plot & the only thing that got me to finish this is ML (Iām not even a fan) he was the only decent watch here. Pretty much figured out who was who from the beginning and 10 eps left I knew where this plot was heading.
He liked her but heās being seeing her as a sister figure for so long he probably didnāt realised it till…
Yeah he sister zoned her for that & the fact his other ex left him for his brotherā¦he hated that so believing Dal liked Kim San Ha played a big part to that sister zoned. š Interested take on the āDo Iā cause I took it as him thinking ālikeā as in platonic (intimate & affectionate but not sexual)- which perfectly discribes the way he has been treating her. I still like your take though lol
I enjoyed the C-drama versionā¦.not sure why some people went in critical watching this version but I mainly enjoyed this because I saw the original. Original was certainly longer, very detailed and more impactful..so watching this made me understood their relationships much more even though story was shorten to fit in 16eps. It kept all the important parts and casts made it their own so it felt like I was watching a new story in a way. Casts for the Dads were perfectly selected for the roles angainā¦only a bit sad they didnāt showcased their journey from strangers to best friends along the way hereā¦.it was such a treat in the original. They literally were like a married couple bickering, dropping pay checks, cooking and cleaning together plus raising/ arguing over their kids š
Wish they clarified why Haejun rejected Dal though. Was it because he thought she was too hasty in her confession…
He liked her but heās being seeing her as a sister figure for so long he probably didnāt realised it till she started pulling away. His jealousy confirmed it for him but like he told her after the gameā¦his feelings are not as strong as hers at all but he wanted to try dating & see where it goes.
