The FL is so melancholic it's depressing. i know she was molested but can't she at least open up to her one friend?…
Well imagine living in a place and time where these things are still blamed on the victims and the people whom you call family are the ones doing the blaming. Now imagine starting a new life and it happened again and also gets blame for it. Her friends are her only stability of normalicy…..this and another reason (won’t spoil) are already major reasons as it is. I understand harassment and feeling helpless where you move to start anew. Depressing? ….I’m surprised she was able to love and hug anyone at this point.
Jeeez 🤦🏻♀️…an undeserved rating! Glad I didn’t take the winching comments into consideration. Thought it was terrible the way some make it out. 🙄 Not all drama had to be bright and sunshine and not all needs to be straightforward…otherwise we all be bored with the same plots. Apart from certain character personalities (somewhat normal in this case) everything from acting down to the production did well.
Question about the talismans - why was his reaction so intense. yes it was seriously weird but its just ash and…
He’s been in-taking this everyday…literally 90% of his food & water intake and even things he used on his body. The idiot just realised that he just swapped 1 controlling girlfriend for an obsessive controlling narcissis. I would feel sick too 😂 Both females are red flags but out of the 2 the more dangerous one is always the controlling one that works undercover. Like serial killers on the news who gets caught and everyone around them would be in shock with disbelief about it because it’s out of character.
me too ✋😭the last scene when ML touch the belly's FL is sound of baby's heart but the bedroom is PCC's, right?
Bedroom is kinda irrelevant cause that’s the same bedroom he woke up in after the “wish”. He was told there’s only 1 wish per person and PCC gave him hers after completing 10k repeated task with specific instructions that if he chooses the other girl to erase him from her life. He used the 1 wish already by changing his love life and he can’t go back. So in the end he didn’t wake up with PCC but he ended up with the pregnant girl.
Her make up was awful, that orange yellow eyeliner made her eyes more red. She doesn't really have pretty eyes.…
She’s certainly unique in her beauty but faces or actresses like the real Jiang Li don’t suit the roles Wu Jin Yan usually plays. She’s got the cunning look and she portrays it well in the roles she picks. I already knew this drama was gonna be good the sec I saw the announcement of it’s airing where I learned she was in it and I knew it was going to be a hit when I saw she was paired with Wang Xing Yue. She usually plays intellectual, demanding, quick-witted and profounding roles many actresses wouldn’t pull off…the ones where viewers are the most critical. The fluff, pretty or “sweet” look in her dramas that has romance isn’t usually her thing nor I would think she care to much abt it tbh
I wanted to like it, truly, but I couldn't entirely connect with the plot. I didn't want them to fall in love,…
Huh you literally described my thoughts…the romance felt disconnected and lacked the chemistry it needed to make her sacrifice believable. But from production, acting to the plot itself were good and the punishment was even better but I can’t quite put my finger on why I struggle to continue yet still able to find it interesting to watch it till the end 😅
It's very boaring for me yeah some can enjoy this but I really couldn't find the reason of breakup in the first…
Both breakups made sense to me 🤷🏻♀️ Season 1 was lack of security…not financial but more confirmation on his part on her insecurities. Like the drama suggested - his pride on being seeing as lacking projected bad communications on the relationship. But have to add though in reality this type of issues is usually something couples experienced after years of being together.
Season 2 on the first breakup was a dead set trust issues. A lot of people may not understand this especially when he technically didn’t physically do anything wrong but everyone has 1 thing they will absolutely not tolerate in their relationships and hers was feelings wavered. Which makes sense cause she’s an all in type which also explained why she initiated their 2nd breakup ….cause when she saw that phone call she felt nothing not even jealousy and she knew she was no longer all in. That it was no longer the love she wanted.
Her Prime cell was love so it makes sense that she prioritise being in the perfect relationships.
Her cheating ass🤦🏽♀️They are going to break up again
How was that cheating? 🤷🏻♀️ She only accepted him after she explained and broke it off with Min Jun…and their whole relationship he knew she was still in love with a guy from her overseas trip but he took the risk to be with her regardless of her situation. Her actions were completely appropriate for someone in her situation. Even before she left Min Jun he knew it was gonna happen which is why he wasn’t angry abt it.
This reminded me of the 2 dramas- The Double and Story of Ming Lan …some of their plots were like copy & paste but here it lacked the intensity since the schemes in the other 2 were written in canny & ingenious thought out steps. But those dramas are very hard to beat in comparison to their creative & brilliant writing, acting & production/directing. They are some of the few rare costume dramas with the full package. So it didn’t help this drama at all to be reminded & compared to the other 2.
But I did checked the writers for this drama & considering their previous works they are either new or may not be elites in their field but I hope they continue with these types of writing…can only get better from here & they still did a good job to entertain the viewers ….in fact the switch from siblings to lovers was done quite well than what I expected.
Back again…not sure if this is my 7th or is it 8th time re-watching this? But need me some dose of intellectual yet fun writings cause it’s certainly lacking out here at the moment. 🤭
Ohhhh people don’t like it when romance is portrayed with no butterflies & sunshine 🤭
It’s not something new in the K-drama or C-drama world (for those thinking it’s abnormal) but it is rare to see 2 well known romcom favs playing leading roles to one. It’s not gonna be everyone’s cup of tea…not fluffy for the Romantics and it’s not deep enough for the trillers lovers although it’s points are certainly ment to be taken seriously. It’s just Life in a darker perspective..realistic yet not really. Gotta be in the right set of mind to enjoy this.
Rom Com is lliterally my most watched genre;it's true that I prefer thril the most but as someone who has watched…
Romcoms aren’t my fav and like you I’ve seen a lot since it’s K-dramas fav genre but it does sound like what you were expecting & was lacking here isn’t always a strong point for this genre…it’s ment to be light comedy mix with romance for viewers to enjoy and not always to take too seriously to life’s point of view. 12 episodes should also be a indicator of that. Perhaps if you had watched it with a different mindset or timing you would see why many enjoyed this. Not dissing you on that cause I honestly sometimes re-watched some shows years later and realised I hated it the first time because I was mentality not ready for them before… especially when I watched them between thrillers.
But…but ummm it literally state that main genres are romance & comedy 💁🏻♀️ Not sure abt the “trash” part but that’s a pretty big call to call something that when this type of dramas are clearly not to your liking judging from your watchlist. I Personally don’t see it as a standout plot but it certainly was written well & executed nicely with meaningful character growth so it doesn’t deserve that! If you don’t like then fine…but calling it trash is a word you’re only entitle to use if you’ve completed the whole drama.

2024 staring Wang Xing Yue & Wu Jin Yan.
You should Try it if you haven’t seen it yet
