The black piece was how she now view herself and she couldn’t tolerated it anymore…I almost wished for her to be alive and season 2 would a collaboration from prison. They were literally each other’s only friend
Does this have a cliffhanger/does it need a second season or does this have a satisfying end?
No cliffhanger & yes a satisfying ending. Although a big achievement was met in the end but the ML’s main goal still stands…so in a way the ending opens up more and exciting possibilities for another season.
I wasn’t even in the mood for a medical drama…but I saw 8 eps and started this. Next thing I know it was morning and realising I was half-way into the last ep. 😩 This was a real treat and the progress was hella interesting, entertaining and funny. Reminds me of Dr Romantic…makes me want to re-watch all 3 seasons of it.
Can’t remember completely but I do slightly remember that it was a happy ending that made no sense…lol Like she has to go back to her world or she’ll disappear for good. The ML in her real world was already dead which is why she didn’t want to go back and she was in love. In the end: She went back and I think he ended up in her world. My comment if I remember was more abt having the ML come into this other world where his other self was supposedly dead and drama didn’t want to dwell into how that was gonna transition. Like she had the same friends, family and life with him and won’t be able to hide the fact that she miraculously found the same guy with same name and family members as the dead double ..(ML is extremely close with his family)

The characters no but circumstances yes..the incredible writing is really outstanding 👌🏼 the screen writer went all in on this. They really put a lot of thought & money in from choosing the Director, casts and screen writer.
It’s not sad in the way you think…technically it shows a lifetime and we got to peak at 3 generations of living. They did amazing connecting the viewers with each characters cause they really stayed with you through out the whole drama which is why the ending is sad for many. Note that for me it was the realistic way they showcase the ups and down especially the hardest times cause life goes on but the drama doesn’t let you forget…which in reality is the truth, it’s never dramatic but subtle hints that hits you heavy every time…you’ll understand what I mean when you watch it. I admit I’ve never cried so hard for a drama that my head ache so bad.
I WAS TOO BUSY CRYING to realise that the editor of Aesun book of poetry is the lady who played her mum? well…
Yeah she said she was proud of the character and she couldn’t understand why 🥹 awww her daughter prayed for her that if she were to be reborn to let her have a desk job like she dreamed of.
I went to bed exhausted from ep 6…😅 I was gonna watch for another 2 hrs but I was mentally drained and my head was hurting so I passed out crying 🤧 my youngest is the same age and nearly lost him same way…so it hit hard.
It’s been a long LONG while since I gave a 10 🤧 This wasn’t even on my list of interests…especially when I sometimes think both main leads and their works are often overhyped by fans ….this was not the case here. The feels were all felt on every episode. The writing, production and casts all did amazing 👌🏼

He even knew his parents loved him and understood he could fight for it if he wanted to since he attempted to do so every now and then so it’s not like he was fearful of his parents at all. Hence why ppl are saying he could but he won’t.

Her dad fought his family in a time where family values were even tougher and in most cases a crime…he did so knowing he will have nothing but the clothes they take plus a child to support. Both males grew up a pillar of their family, never struggled for daily needs compared to others and never faced physical abused… the circumstances of both lifestyle state doesn’t change this since it’s the best of the only world they knew growing up. In comparison no matter how you look at it one is love and the other is infatuation.

Sad seeing his life years later…he technically was still doing well but he was so unhappy. His mum made everyone in that family miserable onwards by playing status and I was glad she knew why in the end. But he did have a choice back then and he wasn’t as strong as Yang Gwan Sik when it came to fighting for his love.
take your time, the series is meant to be savored slowly...
I have to agree….hard since the storyline pulls you in but it seems it’s one of those dramas that would be much more enjoyable watching while it airs. But tbh I am enjoying it a whole lot more than I thought I would.

Ever have a scene impacted & imprinted in your mind that you often think abt it through out the years?? I’m 100% certain this one will be one of them for me.
Well imagine living in a place and time where these things are still blamed on the victims and the people whom…
Not sure which ep your are on and I don’t want to ruin it for you tbh But the assault isn’t what made her defensive and guarded…yes it plays a part but it isn’t the reason. If anything it gave her some sort of hidden strength not to be taken advantage of especially from her family. And she also left her friends for years when she moved..to her they are lifeline when she needs to forget but not life to share. The betrayal of her own mother whom she knew was unfaithful to her dying father then later abandoned her for her new family while still grieving and again when grandma passed..then ignored when she tried to try to talk abt the assault…..then also blamed her & left her by herself on the day she escaped which also broke her knee and ended her dreams of being a ballerina. It hurts more for her since her mother was very caring and devoted mother before her dad passed so the betrayal was worst compared to most ppl with hateful parents. It build her to move on but guarded in being completely dependent on anyone.
