Yeah she said she was proud of the character and she couldn’t understand why 🥹 awww her daughter prayed for her that if she were to be reborn to let her have a desk job like she dreamed of.

I went to bed exhausted from ep 6…😅 I was gonna watch for another 2 hrs but I was mentally drained and my head was hurting so I passed out crying 🤧 my youngest is the same age and nearly lost him same way…so it hit hard.

I’ll love to get an update from you after a few more episodes

It’s been a long LONG while since I gave a 10 🤧
This wasn’t even on my list of interests…especially when I sometimes think both main leads and their works are often overhyped by fans ….this was not the case here.
The feels were all felt on every episode.
The writing, production and casts all did amazing 👌🏼

I rarely throw this word around but I’ll put it here to describe this drama overall :
MASTERPIECE

I get what you mean…but the difference here is that he said he will do it, he knows it’s wrong and he promised it will change.
He even knew his parents loved him and understood he could fight for it if he wanted to since he attempted to do so every now and then so it’s not like he was fearful of his parents at all.
Hence why ppl are saying he could but he won’t.

But you are right..on just that act alone he was deemed not right for her.

Her dad fought his family in a time where family values were even tougher and in most cases a crime…he did so knowing he will have nothing but the clothes they take plus a child to support.
Both males grew up a pillar of their family, never struggled for daily needs compared to others and never faced physical abused… the circumstances of both lifestyle state doesn’t change this since it’s the best of the only world they knew growing up.
In comparison no matter how you look at it one is love and the other is infatuation.

Sad seeing his life years later…he technically was still doing well but he was so unhappy.
His mum made everyone in that family miserable onwards by playing status and I was glad she knew why in the end.
But he did have a choice back then and he wasn’t as strong as Yang Gwan Sik when it came to fighting for his love.

I have to agree….hard since the storyline pulls you in but it seems it’s one of those dramas that would be much more enjoyable watching while it airs.
But tbh I am enjoying it a whole lot more than I thought I would.

Ever have a scene impacted & imprinted in your mind that you often think abt it through out the years?? I’m 100% certain this one will be one of them for me.

Not sure which ep your are on and I don’t want to ruin it for you tbh
But the assault isn’t what made her defensive and guarded…yes it plays a part but it isn’t the reason.
If anything it gave her some sort of hidden strength not to be taken advantage of especially from her family.
And she also left her friends for years when she moved..to her they are lifeline when she needs to forget but not life to share.
The betrayal of her own mother whom she knew was unfaithful to her dying father then later abandoned her for her new family while still grieving and again when grandma passed..then ignored when she tried to try to talk abt the assault…..then also blamed her & left her by herself on the day she escaped which also broke her knee and ended her dreams of being a ballerina.
It hurts more for her since her mother was very caring and devoted mother before her dad passed so the betrayal was worst compared to most ppl with hateful parents.
It build her to move on but guarded in being completely dependent on anyone.

Well imagine living in a place and time where these things are still blamed on the victims and the people whom you call family are the ones doing the blaming.
Now imagine starting a new life and it happened again and also gets blame for it.
Her friends are her only stability of normalicy…..this and another reason (won’t spoil) are already major reasons as it is.
I understand harassment and feeling helpless where you move to start anew.
Depressing? ….I’m surprised she was able to love and hug anyone at this point.

Not all drama had to be bright and sunshine and not all needs to be straightforward…otherwise we all be bored with the same plots.
Apart from certain character personalities (somewhat normal in this case) everything from acting down to the production did well.

He’s been in-taking this everyday…literally 90% of his food & water intake and even things he used on his body.
The idiot just realised that he just swapped 1 controlling girlfriend for an obsessive controlling narcissis.
I would feel sick too 😂
Both females are red flags but out of the 2 the more dangerous one is always the controlling one that works undercover.
Like serial killers on the news who gets caught and everyone around them would be in shock with disbelief about it because it’s out of character.

Bedroom is kinda irrelevant cause that’s the same bedroom he woke up in after the “wish”.
He was told there’s only 1 wish per person and PCC gave him hers after completing 10k repeated task with specific instructions that if he chooses the other girl to erase him from her life.
He used the 1 wish already by changing his love life and he can’t go back.
So in the end he didn’t wake up with PCC but he ended up with the pregnant girl.

She’s certainly unique in her beauty but faces or actresses like the real Jiang Li don’t suit the roles Wu Jin Yan usually plays.
She’s got the cunning look and she portrays it well in the roles she picks.
I already knew this drama was gonna be good the sec I saw the announcement of it’s airing where I learned she was in it and I knew it was going to be a hit when I saw she was paired with Wang Xing Yue.
She usually plays intellectual, demanding, quick-witted and profounding roles many actresses wouldn’t pull off…the ones where viewers are the most critical.
The fluff, pretty or “sweet” look in her dramas that has romance isn’t usually her thing nor I would think she care to much abt it tbh

Huh you literally described my thoughts…the romance felt disconnected and lacked the chemistry it needed to make her sacrifice believable.
But from production, acting to the plot itself were good and the punishment was even better but I can’t quite put my finger on why I struggle to continue yet still able to find it interesting to watch it till the end 😅

Both breakups made sense to me 🤷🏻‍♀️
Season 1 was lack of security…not financial but more confirmation on his part on her insecurities. Like the drama suggested - his pride on being seeing as lacking projected bad communications on the relationship.
But have to add though in reality this type of issues is usually something couples experienced after years of being together.

Season 2 on the first breakup was a dead set trust issues. A lot of people may not understand this especially when he technically didn’t physically do anything wrong but everyone has 1 thing they will absolutely not tolerate in their relationships and hers was feelings wavered. Which makes sense cause she’s an all in type which also explained why she initiated their 2nd breakup ….cause when she saw that phone call she felt nothing not even jealousy and she knew she was no longer all in. That it was no longer the love she wanted.

Her Prime cell was love so it makes sense that she prioritise being in the perfect relationships.
