This is one of those shows that I'm genuinely loving, but really wish they didn't bother with the romance. It…
In this case it was kinda needed since they wanted to put a twist on the 3rd villan identity. The ML needed the hesitation in dealing with the Queen. Feelings got in the way for both and they were able to survive each other & pull through to actually figured out the truth. He was train not to give in and if he hadn’t had the connection with the princess he would have killed both & never found out the real enemy. Besides these the FL & her people did help a lot in his cases not to mention saving his life multiple times…there is no other way to go through that much for someone insignificant especially someone with nothing to offer her unless love was entered into the equation.
Idk how, like, out of everyone, I genuinely loved Zhuang ZhiXing the most! I felt so bad for him most of the time…
Zhuang ZhiXing was the most unexpected & misplaced charcater for me here. We see him as a caring & free spirited young man that for the better part looks up to his dad…he values the memories of the kind father that spent quality time with him as a child. And we see the bond they had..even more than his mother. Perhaps the writers didn’t dwell too much on his love for his mother but his turnaround for revenge was so quick and adamant towards his father. Even if it’s to revenge his mother’s death the relationship he once shared with his father was instantly meaningless. In most cases we would see a slow developed hatred or a crumpled tortured individual…they would be completely torn & in denial knowing the truth especially one as kind as he was. Yet he took an outsider’s side after a few push and plotted against his father knowing full well that the end results would be death & family downfall. It was hard to believe this but it’s a drama and it all worked out well for the ML.
It is not like NiF because the ML is way less in control than the ML of NiF. Mei Changsu was an adult man with…
I’m half way 🤭 I haven’t been able to put it down and reading your comment you’ve described it perfectly & the comparison are my thoughts exactly. Perfectly said.
Meh..I like the 2nd one..I agree with the majority that there was just too many unnecessary directions & characters in this one but considering the series are short and the main plot seems to be a significant continuous storyline I’ll just take it as a small action packed part of a long movie lol Like soldier through the middle of a drama to the exciting ending we know is coming. It’s a showcase of the 2nd character’s strength adding to the 1st character’s quest & now an unstoppable team. The whole drama is pinpointing that this one literally can’t loose with no weakness except they both seem capable of love considering they were both created to be killing machines. Curious what the next serious will bring cause we’ve seen what they are capable of so anything less will be a massive fail.
I love revenge dramas but just want to know something before I start this. What’s the win - loose ration here. Is it like those dramas where the lead suffers the whole drama & we have to wait till the end to see the ML leads plans finally come to light? Or is it like Nirvana in Fire where the win ratio was so good & the ML plots against many individuals through out the whole drama to eliminate them one by one till he reached his goal?
My bet is also on Lee Da Hee being the mastermind behind it all, her telling the English teacher to wear them…
Right. She knew the detective was looking for lost glasses yet she hand it over to someone that clearly indicated that the glasses was a lost item & doesn’t belong to him. The way she said that it was his glasses now was so sus lol Everything revolves around her not to mention SHH got a text saying “I see the same world as you..come to school” So big chance that it’s someone not wearing glasses but someone with a lot of screen time & can see the lines like SHH.
My Guess is - that lil miss pretty goodie goodie teacher with no lines is definitely responsible for them glasses. She’s definitely like SHH and can see the lines naturally.
Both breakups made sense to me 🤷🏻♀️Season 1 was lack of security…not financial but more confirmation…
The whole point of dramas is knowing the plot…you don’t have to take it personally 🙄 ya’ll seeing the cute guy heartbroken & called her a villan. You guys chill pills lol

Some people just value themselves more than their partner. Yes she certainly can work things out and live on but ppl fail to remember that her character from the beginning has trust issues. I understand many can see her reasons for the breakups but the reconciliation I agree was a total Fail on her part. The point is that she saw her mistake & proceeds to correct it. What they had before (which is what she truly wanted) and the reason why she rushed into it again will never be the same after their 1st breakup. Someone with that much trust issues will never find it in the same place after it’s broken. She understood all that after that miscall on his ph and instead of pretending to live happily with him and perhaps make both miserable years down the road she chose honesty and he understood that. The sec she chose to start again I knew it will not end well….this from understanding the character herself.
I’m starting to hate lovers sacrificial endings 🙄 I have yet to finish the last ep so I’m not sure.. but the last few eps I can already see where the writers wanna go. I don’t mind separation endings, cliffhangers, war & even death by any other reason but that.
It wasn't so bad. Also, for it to be real ....for the bad guy to believe the plan. That needs to happen
Yeah but it would mean the hate will be directed to the ML instead and people will also find an issue with that to be honest. I think those scenes weren’t ment to be focused on which is why it wasn’t dragged or overly highlighted. Its whole point was to cheer the audience on to deceive the PM and watch the ML’s steps in weaving his scheme against him. The win to loose ration here is actually refreshing..rare in these type of dramas. But you are right…I can’t stand it when some dramas use that in their plots.
there is no romance romance but you will love the understanding both the main role had for each other.
There is enough here for the romantics…in fact alot more than I expected…even jealousy & misunderstandings but it isn’t too focused on it or dramatically dragged which makes them cute.
You haven’t watched much out there this year haven’t you? Yes it ain’t the best but the plot is pretty easy…
Did you misread my comment? I gave this low rating… what I ment was If you think this is trash (which you’re entitled to your opinion) then you haven’t seen most that came out this year so far. I wasn’t gonna watch this but in comparison to most that’s out there right now this is better.
You are here literally accusing these people of paid review yet you’re the one with a new account on a smear campaign.
It’s okay…have your opinion about the drama and move along but don’t accuse people of having 0 standards when they can follow a simple enough plot & find it entertaining in this particular genre of fantasy.
worst drama in 2025. i saw all episode because it’a annoying for me skip a drama. the plot is so messy and characters…
You haven’t watched much out there this year haven’t you? Yes it ain’t the best but the plot is pretty easy to follow. It’s labelled a Fantasy Drama so it’s not supposed to make total sense to all it’s viewers 🤷🏻♀️
Yo…I’m on ep 1 & the cast & guest appearances is making my dizzy 😍 🤭 there are even some good veterans here…I just know I’m gonna enjoy this and the vibe starting from the detail story telling from a grandfather to his grandaughter is so good I’m looking forward to this 👌🏼

Do you also see the world in Black & White?
Didn’t realise in your “locality “ 🤭 wearing 2 or more panties in your 30s makes you a bit*ch.
Are you guys alright there?
