The FL is so good...her acting is A1...like her reactions, expressions and even her tone in emotional scenes...I have found a new favourite actress...I hope to see her in more dramas.
Chae Hyun's behaviour is only considered romantic because he's attractive...it was giving obsession at some parts tbh...I think she would have made a better couple with the SML if he would have just stood up for himself earlier...
And dont get me started on his fiancé. I will never understand the appeal of forcing a man to be with you when he clearly does not want you.
okay so i couldnt finish it...oddly enough i really dont feel connected to the main leads i find myself skipping through most of their interactions...it just seems boring now
why must all dramas have a childhood connection...its tired...also Eun Gi grew up with Duk Mi...like they were raised as siblings...that was weird to me...
I would like to watch one wuxia where the heroes are like "ya know what...I actually do in fact want to rule the world" after fighting 40 episodes for said world...
First of all...the ML was a terrible person....he's top 5 on my list of most despised ML...He kept on embarrassing her and causing scandals yet he was constantly telling her SHE was a bad person and being mean to her even when she was the one who was always solving his problems. The kiss with what's her face was the last straw for me and he still didnt even apologize or try to make amends.
Also, I watched it on netflix and people were speaking both Chinese and Korean as in someone was speaking in Chinese and the other person would reply in Korean it was hilarious. I figured it was just dubbed wrong.
I have never seen a secret service fail so repeatedly at being both a secret as well as a service...the majority of this series is them being outsmarted consistently
when will yan zhi get some character development because i'm at episode 17 and her arrogance is so annoying....yes she's smart but because she's smart she believes everyone else is stupid.
Side note I am convinced I would have made a better spy than the majority of spies in this show with all the bad decisions they keep making.
I was so excited to watch this because the premise seemed similar to "prime mister and I" which I enjoyed but damn I cannot lower my standards to 7.3 (rating wise) I was willing to flex with a 7.9 even a 7.8 but not a 7.3. I know sometimes MDL reviewers and commenters tend to exaggerate but with a 7.3 rating people must be in agreement about something and the something is the drama is bad...which sucksss because I was really waiting until this drama ended to watch all the episodes because i prefer binging.
One thing I really enjoyed about this drama is that no couple was less than the other. Like her best friend wasnt simply there to prop her up and be at her beck and call when she needed advice or a shoulder to cry on as most second lead females are.
Plus Tae Moo apologizing to Young Seo...A ML being considerate enough to actually apologize for his actions especially to the best friend of the FL that is a rarity right there...I appreciated it so much!
One thing that will always get me upset with both the drama and movie is the way everyone blamed her for the breakup...he told her she should have asked him whats wrong (she did btw when he told her he wished he'd never met her) but he should have told her about her father because she had no idea...not to mention HE was the one who told her all those hurtful things...I would have left too...maybe not the country but I would have simply removed myself from his vision permanently.
It also irked me that she was the one constantly apologizing like he did not have a role to play in the entire mess...and all the friends blaming her...when his friend told her "to stop being selfish" bruh...we would have simply had to fight because all of them are saying "oh we dont know what happened between you two back then" yet everyone is taking his side that she was the one at fault...I guess whoever looks more pitiful wins.
