Bai Yu Tang hallucinating his brother on Zhan Zhao and apologising to him in tears while promising that this time he will save him since he's now an adult... Zhan Zhao just going along with his hallucination and reassuring Bai Yu Tang they will get to safety together was the last straw, why not crush my heart into dust and be done with it π
I know, right? Thought about this the whole time, I feel for him
He was so serious as a kid, but then I saw his older brother and my heart just broke because Bai Yu Tang behaves exactly like him; hiding his hardship underneath a mask of good natured teasing and flirty smiles.
Kinda dying inside thinking about how Bai Yu Tang grew up to actually imitate his older brother's flamboyant & chatty temperament as a copying mechanism to hide his true feelings and pain.
I'm most shocked and disapointed in the younger police guy. The other characters were always scumbags but to cover…
Honestly, the only reason I'm cutting him some grace it's because even if he helped hide the body when Cha Si Yeong was there, after he met Tae Joo at his family's shop he changed his mind and went back to bring the child's body back in the woods (we see him telling her he's sorry and that tomorrow, since they are gonna search, she will get to go home). But because he brought her back in the woods (instead of the fucking police station like he should have from the start) the other two scumbags policeman had the chance to monitor him and hide the poor child again.
All of them deserve HELL they know there's a man who's killed multiple women and did horrible thing to a CHILD and they choose to cover his track and basically let him walk free just to make career... Disgusting.
From the leaked pictures, I can see they finally manage to give Fang Yi Lun a good hairstyle in a period drama, I've been praying for times like this πππ»
Ep 13 had nothing good happening for anyone my god im in tears pls don't fight with each other ππ
At least we had LingLong be the light of hope and path to salvation, but goddamn my boys π I need both of them to be fine and not in pain or poisoned ππ
Glad to see they didn't turn big bro Luo in a bad person even after 10 years because I really liked him when they were young and he was taking care of his little brother.
I dont understand why ML charcter is designed not to kill anyone. its boring and story continue because of that…
I can understand why you may find Zhan Zhao frustrating, but it's really big trope in novels/books of the past to have the "hero" have a very uptight & unyielding moral code.
Zhan Zhao fits this type of "hero character" perfectly: he's good at his core and doesn't believe in upholding his personal justice no matter how bad things seems, he believes in the law and that everyone (no matter the crime) need to stand trial and be punish accordingly. Also even without that, I don't think he would be one to kill just to save someone else, he'd rather get hurt himself.
Until his friend's death, he's lived a life in which no major events happened that got him traumatised and distrusting of authority, so it's pretty understandable to see why he's still like this.
Of course, with everything that we saw happening in the drama, we can see how his beliefs are getting shaken bit by bit, so I'm expecting him to get a bit more extreme, but to do a complete 180 and have him killing people off base on his personal code, I think he must like witness LingLong or Yu Tang's death (which I really hope won't happen).
Maybe it's because I'm a noob, but to me the fighting scenes look really cool? I love how they make use of their surrounding or the objects they have/wear as improvised weapons in fights, plus there's a lot of martial arts moves, idk to me it's all so cool and satisfying to watch!
Especially in episode 10, both Bai Yu Tang and Zhan Zhao solo fights were amazing to watch and the big group fight choreography at the end?? Wholesome π
Bai Yu Tang and Zhan Zhao acting like schoolboys on a sleepover and gossiping in the night was something I didn't know I needed, but was so glad it happened lmfaooo π
Bai Yu Tang is such a funny guy lmfaoo he's always bickering and acting mean when in reality he has such a big heart, it's so endearing that even Zhan Zhao can help but tease him π
Waiting for today episodes... And I was thinking about how glad I am that for once we have a FL who fight with a sword and her martial arts only. Usually wuxia fls use daggers, or bows (which are cool okay, but swordsss), or a whip, or some sort of magic power, so it's pretty refreshining seeing Ling Long properly fight with a sword and be good at it. I like her.
What a frustrating and upsetting episode. I really canβt stand Gi Hwanβs face at this point, Iβm honestly…
Tae Joo's colleagues committing police brutality on everyone apart from the only man who truly deserves to be beaten to death, dammit, I can't stand to see his face without wanting to vomit π
