I simply adore Jinzhao and Qi. I can't say enough how perfectly XK and YSX portray the special bond between them, and captured all nuances of how they talk and act toward each other. Unfortunately, the drama starts 3 years after they woke up and does not show their beginning.

well she only been on Earth for 3 years. She woke up in a teenage body with infant brain cells, like a robot (AI) with no data in her storage. As soon as she interacts with the environment around her, she is smart and starts to learn. Unfortunately, she was programmed with a childlike voice that hasn't changed in 3 years. Actually, I don't think it's meant to be a childlike voice or teenager voice. It's more like a robot voice. To me, she's trapped (or reborn?) in this teenage body whoever she is.

excuse me! 7.7 is not a good rating on MDL. a minimum of 8 is a good rating. anything below 8 means it's just your average drama. If I have limited time, I prefer MDL rating of at least 8, pref. 8.3. or higher; anything higher than 8.3 or 8.5 is hard to say if it was overrated or truly great. I think 8.3 to 8.5 is a safe bet that it's above average.

in defense of Ester in this role, her voice and acting is perfect for this role, imo.

Xu Kai is always great, but YSX has really captured my heart with her portrayal of Qi.

the story is great. you will enjoy it.

normally spoilers are not a big deal i think, but I have a feeling this story is much more emotional if you don't know what will happen to each character later on. I read the storyline for the game is really excellent. Hopefully, the drama adaptation will be too.

I recall AJTL didn't have a rating for days after it aired. Showing a 7.7 after two days, people don't understand, they see the lower rating and think it's not that great of a drama so why bother to watch it

XK and YSX has captured the nuances of Yue Qi and Yue Jin Zhao's relationship from the game. Yue Qi is naive and innocent, while Yue Jin Zhao is smart and protective. They often bicker and tease each other, but also care deeply for each other, creating some humorous and heartwarming interactions.

don't think of it as childish behavior, this is fantasy world. think of it as alien behavior, would that help? two aliens from space fell onto earth in human bodies. one took form of a child brain, the other an adult brain

The FL came into the mortal world fully grown body but with an infant mind and the drama starts 3 yrs later. She's a fast learner and smart but you have to understand she's only had 3 years of experience. I have no idea how her character will evolve. The ML woke up at the same time and location as her, but he retained high intelligence. Neither has any memories of a past life.

i think if you ask on this page you get people telling you to watch 6 first, but if you go to page for 4, those fans will tell you to watch 4 first.

if anyone is interested in Qi and Jinzhoa early days after they woke up at Wujun village, this gameplay is from day 7 on. Her infant-like language and mind and baby voice she woke up with against his intelligent mind creates funny interactions. You can just watch at 34 minute mark to get an idea of their interaction.

YJ: You don't have amnesia. You have brain damage.
Qi: Brain damage? Can you see? From ears?
YJ pulls her cheeks with both hands and tells her to Shut. Up. You.
Then later he asks her a question and she won't speak (because he said Shut Up You).
He's not being mean to her, just frustrated she's not helpful under the circumstances.

this video helps me to understand their beginning, and why in episode 1 when they went to Ynghui Fort in search of person in red he drew, Jinzhao made the face he did after he got rid of Qi and went off on his own to search. He still thinks she's so dumb. But of course, she did much better than him and already hooked up with Luo Zhaoyan. The drama adaptation improved Qi.

You can tell from this game play that Esther Yu and Xu Kai has recreated that same charm between them in this drama. You get the same vibe from their interactions. Esther Yu really did an amazing job with this character.

Ratings, reviews, and comments can influence potential viewers. The momentum in first week of airing is critical if you want more people to watch it. Actors career depends on the success of their dramas.

I can see haters reading various reviews will pick up on negative points and try to use that to create a bad reputation to influence more people to either avoid watching or watch with preconceived negative bias, similiar to spreading rumors or negative press.

momentum is critical in early days of a drama. no wonder anti fans are hard at work.
