Apart from name everything is different ... Both are different stories who have no connexions with each other
I don't get why Chinese Paladin 4 decide to change their title to Sword and Fairy too. Even though they mean the same, it would have been better to have different title to set them apart.
The beginning of this is a bit slow and kind of confusing. It takes some time to work out who the different attackers…
But don't all Chinese Paladin dramas have these "annoying" Disney-like or Sesame Street-like animal characters? So, this is normal, right? CP1 from 19 years ago, theirs look like you are watching a children's program, but more realistic since lack of CGI so has to be more creative. I'm sure that people will be criticizing CP6 for that weird looking oversize bear of some kind that looks like a cheap air blown thing that I saw in the trailer. Also, CP4 here I noticed has a character with a lion mask. As soon as I saw that, I thought of Snow Eagle Lord which got criticized heavily to put it mildly for using a "cheap Halloween mask". Geez, that never even occurred to me until I saw the comments. These sorts of details are so minor to me and shouldn't take away from any drama. I've only watched two episodes of CP4 so far because I'm one of those who watch for free, and I would say that the male lead is doing a masterful job portraying his character, and the drama is good so far.

they really ought to have a threshold which cannot go below. No drama is justified to have a rating of 1 or 3. That should be automatically thrown out.

Chinese Paladin is the Chinese name for the game series. When you translate the Chinese characters, the English translation is The Legend of Sword and Fairy. However, CP6 has another Chinese name for the series that is not being used so it's called Sword and Fairy 6 here. This drama was originally listed as Chinese Paladin 4, then it aired and they updated the name to Sword and Fairy 4. It doesn't matter what the name is as long as you know which drama it is.

the first character of TODAY by itself means Right Now or Right This Instant, and the second character by itself means Today but together it just means Today, if that means anything to you.

they really need to add 6 back to Sword and Fairy, now that this one changed its name to Sword and Fairy too; previously it was named Chinse Paladin 4.
