I tried 8 eps it wasn't for me, watching that many hours is already generous ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I tried the first few eps of Unknown Woman before since it's from the same writer of LHW but was feeling lazy to watch the rest, maybe I'll give it another try. Rahut Rissaya's first ep didn't really grab my attention, FMT is on my PTW list. I still enjoyed TLE more than The Penthouse (same writer)

Ep 1 - first 20 mins were boring but the real drama starts after that! This reminds me of Escape Room movie

have only seen the first few eps of this (1st ep was kinda boring tbh) but I feel the same way about Extracurricular, the scripts/dialogues feel so “American” especially with that music... I just like watching the action scenes

He did a good job acting childlike in the first 20 episodes of that drama then I got addicted to it after the time skip when he became a prosecutor.

the beginning eps feels slow with many filler scenes but I don't like to skip entire episodes.
Kim Seo Hyung looks like she could be a live action version of Nico Robin (One Piece) lmao

it was pretty hilarious/entertaining for me too (watched the first few eps when it was airing but waited to binge the rest after it's over) the training scene was iconic lmao and Shin Eun Kyung's acting was amusing to watch (felt like the villains stole the show even though I started liking CJH in Devilish Joy)
I still think TLE was more addicting than TPH this one felt more original/memorable overall plus I still like to listen to some of the instrumental BGM even after the drama's over, the only thing I disliked about it was CJH not being in the last eps. Still, this and Come! Jang Bo Ri are my fave dramas from this writer.

The beginning of this drama is boring tbh (didn't grab my attention like with this writer's other drama Fashion King) but I like that funky background music with some vocals in it "Dream in Bali"

edit: finished it, it was still boring overall the only thing I actually liked was the background music and OST songs, I like the style of music they used for older makjang/melodramas but you will rarely hear this style of music anymore nowadays.

got any other frustratingly addictive shows like this feel free to recommend me them :D (I love "makjang on steroids" types of shows like The Last Empress, Left-Handed Wife, Hua Jai Sila)
low rated shows don't matter 'cause I've been bored with so many popular hyped 2020 dramas but this drama keeps me alive for some reason LOL I admit the first 10-20 eps were so-so but now I'm dying to watch the last 30 eps!

Seo Ha Joon is definitely stealing the show, I worry about the writer making him evil/unlikeable later just so we can ship her with Lee Jae Woo again which may lead back to the beginning of ep 1 scene. Jung Min is still a sweet guy there's still some romance here and there eps 33-50, looks like the FL is currently in love with him instead.

I'm still hooked to this lol every episode feels like crack for me but I'll let you know later xD
end of ep 77 SJ mom throws a luggage at her "Get out!" for hiring some thugs to mess with YJ/SJ, but I bet she'll try to weasel out of that anyways and it looks like YR is going to do another fake pregnancy again based on the preview for ep 78? The aunt/SJ dad's story may finally take place in ep 80s, am expecting SJ mom to go villain mode again soon meanwhile having doubts about YR..

Joon Seok can't be dead wtf he barely even showed up again after all this time and TP wasn't even fazed by his death, bet that's someone else's body with his watch (reminds me of Left-Handed Wife) plus if he was really dead his brother should be showing up to get revenge at YR.
now YR is planning another fake pregnancy? Besides it was already hard for her to have Min Woo in the first place.
The preview for ep 78 is finally hinting at the aunt/SJ dad's story. I bet this drama will be extended too like they did with Gracious Revenge and Fatal Promise since they need more screentime for the final showdown with SJ's mom

that stuff was weird/unnecessary it's as if they wanted to emphasize his muscles/abs lmao he already got a decent body anyways

Ep 75 *fanservice scene of topless Cha Seo Joon* he looks hot after he comes out of the shower! But it was kinda weird his body looked so shiny like a wax figure.

I love crazier dramas over the relaxing ones lol they have that addictive factor to keep me watching such long dramas.
Man Who Sets the Table also had annoying/cliche villains but it was addicting for me, I liked watching the main family, loved the veteran actors Kim Soo Mi and Kim Gab Soo they were pretty funny even though people dislike him in the beginning but his character gets better in eps 20-30s, plus the side couple and child actor who shows up later were hilarious too. I watched this writer's other drama Golden Garden last year, it felt exactly like a daily drama except with less episodes.

I skipped those/only tried the 1st eps, am iffy about those screenwriters especially when the dramas are long. The writer of Once Again wrote WFKBJ which I enjoyed but then they also wrote Oh My Ghostess which bored me (plus I didn't like the ML). The other one wrote I Have a Lover and Should We Kiss First which I couldn't get into the 1st few eps of those. As for the actors I'd be interested in watching Lee Min Jung, Lee Sang Yeob, Yoon Park & Jo Woo Ri.
Once Again looks like a slice of life drama which usually bores me lol didn't want to suffer through another hyped drama again like Ugly Alert (although the BGM in this drama was good). Most family dramas look pretty similar just based on the drama posters, unlike these ones in the revenge time slot. I also keep seeing people raving about My Father is Strange, the plot doesn't really interest me either but I am mainly interested in watching it for Lee Yoo Ri, Ryu Soo Young and Ahn Hyo Seop.
I've only watched a few family dramas so far, like Man Who Sets the Table, My Golden Life, Come Jang Bo Ri, A Hundred Year's Inheritance. I'm more addicted to the makjang ones even though 2 of them were low rated/had some negative comments. Sometimes I find villains more amusing to watch than good characters xD
