I don't like slice of life dramas at all as I find them boring. Would this be an exception at all?
not for me anyways I also find SOL boring (I only watched just to see what the hype was all about), especially this one which felt slow paced/repetitive with random operation scenes and band playing at the end of every episode, didn't feel like I was missing out on much if I skipped one. I dropped this at 8 eps but am curious if you will end up liking this one or not since you also find SOL dramas boring?
I don’t know why I liked this so much. Perhaps it was the way it took a simple idea and turned it in surprising…
Same, this is one of those low rated shows that other people dislike but I love it.. the BGM/humor was on point for me plus the stalker/obsessive guy plot was exciting to watch. I've been feeling k-drama slump since last year, I don't really find newer dramas fun to watch anymore. But this one gives me that old k-drama feeling I used to get hooked to.
watched this back when it was airing. This is one of those low rated dramas that other people disliked but I found it addicting (it kinda gives off makjang vibes) and the main leads had such chemistry even without any romantic scenes (like that standing in the rain scene while looking at each other?)
wow thanks! I was watching it on Dramacool since I didn't want to download the IQIYI app. How do you get away from copyright lol even when I try to upload a 30 second low quality video I get blocked immediately xD
am I the only one still liking this lol I agree the plot/pacing could've had more potential (how cool this drama would've been if this was a disability revenge plan, or how different would this be if TP exposed YR earlier with their wedding photo) and YR is obviously going to be persistent/not taken down easily until the bitter end of this drama. if I knew makjang dailies could be entertaining/suit my taste I should've watched them years ago.. although I tried watching Love to the End (Kang Eun Tak's older drama) and A Place in the Sun these 2 feel kinda boring since they're slower/more mellow with less interesting characters. Apgujeong Midnight Sun looks even longer than Ugly Alert which I struggled with the second half of that drama but at least I might enjoy watching Park Ha Na.. I wish they will release the BGM OST for this drama, I love that acoustic guitar music which played since the beginning of the drama sometimes during Yu Ra's scenes
I saw so many bad reviews here that I'm not sure if I should watch or not ;(
well I like plenty of low rated dramas but maybe you'll still enjoy this or not, also depends if you have high expectations for this. the good - cinematography, instrumental background music/OSTs, Woo Do Hwan, Maximus (lol at least we get to see a gorgeous white horse) Lee Min Ho's visuals/outfits meh - cringy forced romance, slow first half/filler scenes, underwhelming plot/villain, surface level characters (liked LMH in a few other dramas before but his character here seems bland for me, some people thought his acting felt robotic)
The comment section is really lively here. I love it cuz it's really fun. When this drama had just began airing…
Yeah, and less negative comments too. I still remember someone saying we'd be missing out on Kairos instead of watching this one 2 months ago -_- but now more people are getting into this drama so that's good. I wish for more makjang dramas in 2021 lol
seol ah was wearing her apple necklace all the time when she was tutoring seok hoon and seok kyung, so i guess…
yeah.. K-drama logic where characters can memorize a driver license plate in a blink of an eye from a distance, or even not being able to recognize Gu Ho Dong's face from Logan Lee up close lmao
seol ah was wearing her apple necklace all the time when she was tutoring seok hoon and seok kyung, so i guess…
yes but the point of my question was about that scene of her going down in the elevator ep 1 (I wrote about this in reply to Thanveer Ali's comment which is next to yours)
Soo ryun already know Min seol have a apple necklace. She even drawn a potrait of girl probably Min seol cuz the…
yes that's the specific part I was talking about (seeing something so small from that distance) especially at night time we can barely see the silhouette of that person even with the fireworks serving as lighting but she kept saying she saw it that night lol wtf I think she just made that up to scare them/see their reactions
forgot to ask this earlier but how can Soo Ryun notice a ruby red ring or necklace from so high/faraway (ep 1 Seol Ah falling scene)? Plus it happened so fast anyways, she must have some amazing eye sight lmao.
am still in denial, hoping there's a plot twist to it.. like Dan Tae still being the killer but Yoon Hee actually…
her being the killer seems too predictable for me, it's what other people thought of her at first too since she would have the most motive to do it (getting Ro Na into school) but will wait for season 2 or 3 for the truth to be revealed..
I was actually shocked when Oh Yoon Hee ended up being the actual killer. I was rooting for her and she let me…
am still in denial, hoping there's a plot twist to it.. like Dan Tae still being the killer but Yoon Hee actually tried to pull/save Seol Ah back up from falling instead of pushing her but failed to??
