Does anybody know the name of the song that comes whenever Seo Jung Min and Lee Ji Eun are together? which goes…
if it's the one I'm thinking of, it's probably just a background music which they might release the OST after the drama's over (or not). I noticed 5 BGM with female vocals so far - the one at ep 1 beach scene, the happy one, the slow/jazzy (both of them plays in JM/JE scenes) a sad one with some whistling and the last one that sounds like an opera.. I liked Fatal Promise BGM & Gracious Revenge ending credits music but they didn't release those. A Man in a Veil has some good music too I really want that acoustic guitar music which plays sometimes during Yu Ra's scenes.
Right?! Like why are they telling YR what they are doing and who they are meeting ? I almost died when she started…
hate it when that happens but I still find Min Jung (Come! Jang Bo Ri) crazier xD both of them and their moms feel similar. I find makjang/dailies more addicting/entertaining the more OTT they are, this drama is still crack for me besides The Penthouse, although that one feels too staged for me I can't really connect with most of the characters compared to here.. P. S. I find it funny seeing 3 comments in a row down there (including myself) saying "OMG/WTF"
This show is LIT!Logan is bae and Soo Ryun is a badass.Thank you for coming to my TED talk
lol yeah the latest episodes were good. If you like this show maybe you will also like this writer's previous drama The Last Empress (which I saw in your PTW list before)
I totally loved penthouse and sky castle equally . Any other recommendations? Cannot move on from penthouse right…
The World of the Married & My Dangerous Wife (these 2 also aired this year) for other addictive makjangs check out this writer's previous dramas The Last Empress & Come! Jang Bo Ri, if you haven't seen them already. plus Eugene's older makjang family drama A Hundred Year's Inheritance which also starred Lee Jung Jin from The King: Eternal Monarch, there were some low ratings/negative comments about this one but personally I found the makjang parts of it addicting (typical evil MIL, obsessive 2nd FL and the FL's husband was still delusional/obsessed with her even after she divorces him)
This is the murder and mayhem I wanted with twotm - thank you lord, I couldn't think of a better way to end 2020…
Loved TWOTM though it's still the best drama of the year for me, would want to watch more newer makjang dramas like these but they barely make them nowadays unless it's a 100 ep daily drama (there's a specific time slot that airs revenge dramas)
Many people say that it is addicting so I guess I will find out soon.
it might be addicting if you're into over the top makjang dramas, but something still feels lacking in this one even though I usually get addicted to these types of dramas. The Last Empress was still more memorable/original for me. Most of the characters here are unlikeable/cartoonishly evil but I am rooting for a few good guys.
do all makjangs aim on being overdramatic and boiling our blood? if so then the penthouse is absolutely killing…
usually the long daily/family dramas do (at least for some of the ones I've watched) some are more mellow but I enjoy the angst/thrills of makjang dramas xD
Yeah she looked stunning since ep 1 with that pink dress, and he looks handsome too (saw him in a few other dramas…
his English is perfect! He's my favourite character besides SR/YC. The other main drama I watched him in was Partners for Justice but I don't remember if he spoke English there.
cause everyones talking about how over the top and heavy this drama is can we talk about how pretty sim sooryun…
Yeah she looked stunning since ep 1 with that pink dress, and he looks handsome too (saw him in a few other dramas before briefly but since he was only guest roles I didn't remember him unfortunately)
skipped this 'cause I thought it'd be one of those boring slice of life dramas lol but I feel like I gotta watch this for Jeon In Hwa and Jeong Bo Seok... they were a married couple in A Hundred Year's Inheritance so this is like a reunion drama for them (are they a couple here too?)
this drama is nice tbh is pretty chill to watch ... i never tried long dramas but lately i gave this one a try…
is this a slice of life - no makjang/villains in this one? I actually like Makjang over "chill" relaxing dramas lmao I feel more alive somehow... the angst/face offs/cliffhangers is addicting for me meanwhile the latter usually bores me/puts me to sleep xD I just came here since I liked Jeon In Hwa in A Hundred Year's Inheritance which was an older makjang/family drama, Jeong Bo Seok was also in this too so this looks like a reunion drama for them!
Am I the only one who finds the female lead so annoying that it's hard to watch? For me she isn't funny at all.…
Nope, some people thought she was annoying too at the beginning. She is loud/talks too much imo I'd rather have watched more screentime of other characters.
I understand the chef is the guest star but am the only one who wants to see more of him? He is so hilarious.…
me too, have you watched Zombie Detective? That was the last drama he was in, he was pretty good/hilarious in that one :D plus he still looked hot as a zombie haha
first 2 eps were meh but at least Lee Yi Kyung made me laugh twice. That OST song at the boat scene/ep 2 ending credits is probably the most exciting thing about this drama lmao
The reason I compared it to Mr queen, is because period dramas have been so scarce this year. Only Arthdal and…
finally someone mentioned Ahn Nae Sang.. people usually rave about the younger actors but he is one of my favourite ahjussi actors. I liked his last drama My Dangerous Wife, he was pretty funny in that one. The first 2 eps of this didn't grab my attention but I still want to continue for him and Lee Yi Kyung. I only tried Mr. Queen because I saw Choi Jin Hyuk in the cast list as a cameo, miss watching him in Zombie Detective (which was the previous drama of this same time slot) but at least I get to hear his voice in it xD
Episodes 1 to 19 : 2/10 (or lower)Episodes 20 to 22 : 5/10Episodes 23 to 36 : 8/10Episodes 37 to 38 : 9/10Episode…
lol it shouldn't take a drama that long to get good... I only tried the first ep of this when it was airing. I had the similar problem of watching Feel Good to Die, struggled to get through the first half of that drama but then I felt more motivated to watch it at ep 18 onwards.
