I think 'The First Frost' β„οΈπŸƒ had brilliantly captured the authentic and rawness of love. As much as I had melted during their first kiss, the last few scenes of this drama made me tear up. Everything about that vulnerable moment felt so significant.

Wen Yi Fan went from letting Sang Yan into her heart to showing him her scars and pains. She finally opened up some parts of her past, considering how she has been hiding all of these from the world. I knew it wasn't easy to let it out to anyone but because Sang Yan built a safe place for her to rest her heart and wounds, it gave light for her to be brave and let it all out in that moment. He was so considerate and respectful towards her once again - he never forced her to speak out but waited until she was ready or when she decides to reveal it herself to him. His words weren't merely words for reassurance and comfort but for someone who has lived a life like Yi Fan, those words of "no matter what, I will always catch you" "you deserve the best of everything" held so much value that no amount of I love you can compare to.

Wen Yi Fan went from being a woman who thinks she doesn't deserve the best things in the world due to her terrible past experiences to now being a woman loved unconditionally by a man like Sang Yan who thinks she deserves everything in the world just because she is Wen Yi Fan - Wen Shuangjiang. Sang Yan brought so much warmth in Wen Yi Fan's cold life, while Wen Yi Fan brought colors to Sang Yan's life.

Their love was never about who loves the other more, who is more perfect or even who deserves more better. Time and time again, through Sang Yan and Wen Yi Fan's love...this drama had shown an authentic and raw type of love where two people come together unconditionally ; not to be perfect puzzle pieces that fits one another instantly or where they had to reshape themselves just to fit each other, instead it's a love that is complete and feels complete even if these two puzzle pieces are not of the same shape.

Kdrama's are better than Cdramas, this debate is getting old pleaseπŸ˜’πŸ˜’. The fact is that there are good Kdramas…
sighs why bring a kdrama into a cdrama which doesn't make sense, true to each their own.

Would you rather be Sang zhi and have Duan jiaxu or be wen yifen and have sang yan? 😁 let's be delusional for…
I think both women had met great type of love in their life that any other women would dream of. I'll be honest, if I was still in my teens I would choose a heart fluttering and soft type of love like what Sang Zhi and Duan Jia Xu had. However, after experiencing adult life although not to the extent like Yi Fan, this drama made me realize a lot of things about love which I had never thought of before. So, I currently prefer the type of love Yi Fan and Sang Yan had, it's absolutely raw - it's a type of love that heals and soothes wounds but doesn't deny the existence of the scars and accepts it wholeheartedly and unconditionally. It's the type of love that makes you want to love every part of what you used to consider ugly or flawed before.

Title The First Frost Spoiler
is the man who took pictures of yifan the uncle?? any spoilers from the novel or how this went in the novel
regarding this, the man who assaulted Yi Fan before is not her uncle who is her father's brother but it's his wife's brother - aunt's brother.

the kiss was intentionally made to be that way since that was the first official kiss they had and it needed to…
don't worry their kisses will be more intimate soon

The cinematography for this drama truly gave out strong spring vibes and I found it pretty, although I do think there were certain scenes where the lighting should have been toned down a bit as it brought discomfort to the eyes. I am enjoying the calm atmosphere, visuals and Zhang Ling He's deep voice.

People haven't really seen how WYF really is when her guards are down. She is extremely considerate and gentle.…
I've seen such comments too as well as ones that says how she doesn't deserve Sang Yan or he deserves better than Yi Fan. I figured, they just fail to truly understand her and notice how deep her love is for Sang Yan as well.

Right. This side of her reflects parts of her real self which she hid away before, but now because of the safety and loved she felt, she was able to show this side of her again.

I had so many thoughts running in my head when I was reading this comment and like others I too eventually teared…
"The beauty of love is truly in the mundane, simple and effortFUL acts of love."

A great way to put it! I hope for that as well. Their love story deserves to be appreciated. I agree with you so much, it does take courage and I believe willingness to, in order to go after it. Truly like them.

Title The First Frost Spoiler
The awkwardness between Wen Yi Fan and Sang Yan has been nothing but endearing and enjoyable to watch seeing them act in such a way around each other. I love how they were treating each other with so much delicacy and it's evident how much they consider one another's feelings and thinking.

Although there was awkwardness around them, it left plenty of room for their blossoming sweetness. The subtleness from the stolen peck on the lips to their finger holding moment portrayed the opposite, as they both were definitely wearing their hearts out on their sleeves.

I particularly felt very satisfied with Sang Yan handling Mu Cheng Yun in such an unbothered and manly manner. Aside from that, when he bragged to his friends about his 'girlfriend' not just in front of them but in social media too. I thought it wasn't just his moment of bragging for getting a girl he liked for years to be his but it was also his way of showing how much he values and feels proud of their relationship that he wants the whole world to know of it. Those were the obvious actions and words he depicted but what made me appreciate more about him is during the scene where they were about to leave overtime and Yi Fan asked him why he hasn't told his friends yet about who his girlfriend was, then he replied he wanted to tell them in a 'formal setting'. Yes, this word was simple nothing big, but there is a significance behind these words, it spoke even more of how he doesn't only value their relationship alone but have respect for it. Normally, others would quickly introduce their girlfriend to their friends no matter what setting it was but the fact he considers the 'setting' to introduce his girlfriend spoke so much about him as a lover. His emotional intelligence is truly commendable.

Seeing Wen Yi Fan in such a bright mood and smiling happily leaves me happily smiling with her. I felt so contended when she dealt with Mu Cheng Yun, the way she spoke up about how Sang Yan treats her like he is confessing to her everyday with a very happy expression on her face ; this is when you know she is happy not because she is in love but because she feels loved. Need I say more about how much they equally love each other so much? Wen Yi Fan notices all the smallest things about Sang Yan, from gifting him a new coat entirely different from the ones he had, eating the food he likes, and how she knows exactly what has caught his attention or took his interest - like the ferris wheel, she quickly knew he wanted to ride it too as he has been constantly looking at it but hasn't spoken up about it so she makes the first move and tells him about it ; giving him the opportunity to express how he wanted to ride that with her. Then when she finds out that he does something out of his way for her, she would take note and be sure to do it for him next time. They are both so willing to do anything for each other.

Their dating era has just started yet I can't help but feel a lot for them through their moments and the intricate details in their moments.
