I loved watching him in Hidden Love. Heās really handsome. And his character won me over (from his edgy style), to his facial expressions.
I hope to see him in more stuff. And to know he raps? Iām not surprised. He kinda reminded me of Taiwanese rappers Kumachan, and Ćzi in appearance and vibe.
Maybe itās because Iāve been watching a lot of revenge dramas, but this drama was a breath of fresh air. None of the main characters were too annoying, and they never did stupid stuff. I can see why others may think it was slow paced. This drama isnāt ideal to watch in one sitting. Iād at least say three episodes per day.
I know itās weird that Iām commenting again. But the lead charactersā chemistry was very sweet. The characters…
I know Iāve made a lot of comments here, but I must admit that their relationship is the basis of what Iād be okay with having myself. Iād like to have a guy I could connect with on that level. Of course a time loop wouldnāt have to occur! Hehe.
I enjoyed the soundtrack, and the intro to the movieāa very fun and dramatic scene!
Aaah. I found the scene in the jail where Kwon Yoo is hugging his mom and crying was so heart wrenching: I almost wanted to cry. I wanted to give Kwon Yoo a hug. He was so thoughtful and a fair gamer. My most favorite parts were the car chase scene, the scene where Yeo Wool curses out that one woman over the phone, and the scene with the Americans (I found it oddly endearing and positive). Overall, I liked it. I really loved the tree narration JCW provided at the beginning and end. Despite there being an unrealized romance and a very very VERY small part in the movie left unfinished, Iād recommend. Iād also warn that it is on the dark side sometimes (read the tags).
The actors did a great job. The soundtrack was nice and dramatic. And I agree with others on here, it wouldāve made a better drama (for better backstory, character dev, and maybe a better realized romance?). Better yet, a sequel wouldāve been nice. I give it an 8/10.
I had to watch the last episode before resuming where I left off (after having dropped it). I must say the payoff was great! But if anyone is coming into this green, not knowing what to expect, the drama can get really frustrating and old. For me it did, before I had to drop it once before picking it back up. Tbh, I can definitely see the romance between the two leads but after a certain number of episodes, it feels as though they do more pining and adoring towards each other when theyāre apart. None of the misunderstood characters ever explained themselves when need be, and I felt like that created missed opportunities. If it wasnāt for the performances or chemistry, Iād think the developing feelings between the main characters was a āblink it and you miss itā type of thing. I feel so mixed towards this drama because I feel as though the vibe and good feelings the ending had/held couldāve happened an episode sooner. Maybe this applies to most Lakorns, but to me, this was a very special case (the characters deserved two episodes of positive courtship). Iād say the ending left no plot holes, yet, in a way I still felt robbed.
šššQuestion1. Happy ending?2. Story?3. Chemistry?4. Kiss scene?
1. Yes, a happy ending. No misunderstandings. Tied up nicely.
2. I enjoyed the story. Time loop was full fledged and well used. And I liked the office workplace setting (it teaches you a bit about the corporate world too, pay close attention). But to say overall, the story is quirky, and the romance and characters make it. Itās an acquired taste because itās a bit unconventional but not unsatisfying. The last two episodes are worth it.
3. There was indeed chemistry. There is a bit of an age gap, but it didnāt bother me. And their banter was natural and overshadowed the gap. The actors are comfortable with each other, and they seem to genuinely respect and like each other (it felt like they had an inside joke with each other). The glances and the way she wrapped her hand around his arm. So, yes. There is a chemistry that definitely fits and works here.
4. Yes, there are two kiss scenes. But the second kiss scene was better. The first one left viewers polarized, and I you couldnāt really see the kiss. But the second one they go all out in.
Thatās a good observation! ššš LOL. If not South Korea, maybe the Philippines or the UK. But you do have a point. Weāll just have to wait and seeā¦hehe
Are you saying that got7 is bad??? (ć _ć ) Got7 is my fav band.
I was only asking because I didnāt expect to see your comment (which wasnāt a bad comment). But if the video/show involves and showcases typical (abusive) JYP behavior towards GOT7, I donāt want to see it. I was genuinely curious to that extent.
I hope that BamBam will appear in more variety shows and host more shows too. Heās naturally funny and knows how to read a room. I hope he continues to hone his skills, and promote. I really enjoyed his newest album and the promotion behind it. I enjoyed Bamās House, and I hope heāll continue to release episodes. Only time will tell!
Ah, Jackson. Iām so glad he has a lot of flowers gifted to him. And itās funny that others think heād be great in a C-DRAMA. Itād even be great to see him cameo in any movie or show. Or even voice act. Heās good in variety, and he acted well in the LMLY music video (which reminded me of classic Hong Kong movies).
Yet, I hope heās able to healthily juggle all his projects smoothly. I know heās had a couple hiccups this past year (the Magic Man era has been quite eventful), therefore I hope that heās able to take care of himself since heās spoke on his bouts with depression and how lonely he is. His tweets and interviews regard this. He looked really worn out and tired a couple months back.
Either way, I wholeheartedly wish Jackson the best! Heās made a lot of accomplishments and Iām sure heāll continue to do so gradually. Always a fan.

There was nothing inappropriate about the drama.
