I just completed the series and watched the original Ooku movie (I haven't read the manga) and for me it is a…
Iâm sure this may seem repetitive, but does the show have a sad ending? It wouldnât be a deal breaker but Iâd like to prepare myself. I donât mind spoilers.
The cast sucked! Kim Ki Bum was unbelievably bad. Anyway, they had an idea that might had worked for a movie but…
Itâs as though I see you everywhere. Every time I come across an old Korean drama and look to its MDL page, I see your review or comment. I mean this all in good fun đ
I loved him in Gummyâs âAs a Manâ music video. He had great chemistry with his co-star. And I must admit, when he was at his prime, he was at his prime! â¤ď¸
What is a favorite scene of your's and why? I wants all the details!
The ML and the quack doctor. Every time ML would throw shade at him and the look the doctor would give him đ All Geun Sooâs scenes provided good comic relief. Soo Yeol didnât consider him a real doctor, yet, Geun Soo was actually onto something a couple times, ironically, despite his gambling addiction. From the group chat with other gambling addicts to falling asleep after hypnotizing Soo Yeol, Geun Sooâs scenes were my favorites.
Also, the end of episode 2, when we realize K is actually Soo Yeol. I like that scene too because it genuinely surprised me the first time around, and everyoneâs reactions were gold. I thought Soo Yeol was selfish and didnât care about Officer Oâs feelingsâŚbut then I realized Soo Yeol wasnât so bad.
it's been a year but this still remains one of my favourite underrated gemsi regret not leaving comments when…
I really loved your review. There were two things that stood out to me, that truly made me realize why I rooted for the couple and loved the drama:
âPerhaps it was not intended to be profound or have a deep meaning but I found it interesting that despite someone who avoids conflict and thus doesnât tend to quarrel with others, she never hesitated to do so with him. I suppose in a way she felt comfortable around him even before knowing it herself. To be relaxed enough to show someone your true self is not an easy thing. â
AND
âThe time loop was executed well as it served a purpose. To admit oneâs past mistakes takes great courage and even more to apologise the person theyâve wronged so it was great to see that growth in the male lead.â
I also like how you noted that the pair were a lot more similar than youâd think. And I think thatâs true.
