Thinking back on it, if I want to look at it differently, she didn’t put the reactants in the eye drops. And she didn’t end up pushing him into the cement. She kinda just enabled and egged on some of the characters. But yeah, she was the puppet master and she did stoop to that level.

In The Glory, I liked it when she had her hair down and it was straighter. She resembled more of her younger counterpart then.

But he had done a lot to the victim (Yoon So-hee) who Yeon Jin pushed off the roof. He was the reason for the unwanted pregnancy (Episode 15). It was implied something took place that wasn’t consensual.

I didn’t think of that. That would’ve been intense but understandable. But then again, Dong Eun doesn’t like blood.

I realized that maybe the reason why Dong Eun started a relationship with someone younger than her (considering the characters’ ages and the actors’ ages) is because throughout the drama she and Yeo Jung keep alluding to the fact that once the revenge is over she can finally be 19 years old. Of course others may consider the technicalities and what have you, but this just dawned on me.

So, I believe that’s why there’s the age gap. And to be honest, I believe that’s what makes the drama different from others. Even though noona dramas have been around for a long time, this show is an international phenomenon. So, when there is something seemingly conventional in its storytelling, things that stand out (or are unconventional), it is, or will be something that others can’t quite get used to.

I’m sure others have already pointed this out. But I thought about this for a couple of days, and this was one of the things that stood out to me.
