I know it's only been 5 episodes but I really think this is going to be my favourite drama of 2020! How they managed to get a cast with such amazing chemistry, I have no idea, but I'm loving it so far and I can't wait to see what happens next =D

For those people who think that we don't like Zhao Lu Si and that's why we don't enjoy the drama, that's not really the case. I loved her acting in "Love Better Than Immortality", I thought she was spectacular. That's why I had such high hopes for this drama and I looked forward to seeing her again. But for some odd reason I just don't feel any chemistry between her and the male lead whatsoever. I really tried so hard to finish this drama, I watched up to episode 12 but I just couldn't afterwards. I think a lot of you guys will like it because it does have a pretty cool story, but it just wasn't my cup of tea =)

This guy's acting is amazing! I love him in "Love of Thousand Years" and "Love Better than Immortality". By the way, does anyone know how to change his profile picture? He is really good-looking and that picture isn't doing him justice.

Title Love of Thousand Years Spoiler
After watching the first 2 episodes, I thought this was going to be the best Chinese Historical Drama of 2020! I haven't been this hooked since Ashes of Love. And then starting at episode 3 it slowly went downhill. Honestly, it would've been nice if they kept the face of the main female lead instead of switching it, that really ruined the flow of the story. Also, the main problem is that I just don't feel any chemistry between her and the male lead. Who knows, maybe it's just me. I hope the rest of you guys enjoy this drama!

Title Be Melodramatic Spoiler
I really enjoyed this drama. As someone who is in her mid 20s, it's so nice to see women in their 30s and their everyday triumphs and struggles. This drama was relatable on so many levels. I'm so glad to see more dramas talk about mental health. I've been struggling with depression for a few years so I really connected with Eun Jung's character. All of the characters were written beautifully and I think a lot of them got their time to shine. If there's one thing that bugged me about this amazing drama, it was the last episode. I was a bit sad by the fact that Han Joo and Jae Hoon didn't end up together but it made sense since Jae Hoon didn't seem like he was ready for a new relationship. However, I really hated the fact that he ended up with his ex. We have seen their relationship and it was so toxic. Honestly, it was an emotionally abusive relationship and I'm glad he survived but somehow the writers decided to put them together on the last episode. WHY?!! Okay, end of rant. I still love this drama and I think you should check it out =)

What have I been doing with my life? I can't believe I put this masterpiece on hold! I was hesitant to watch this because I heard some people say that the female leads have "unlikeable personalities". Well I personally love them. I think it's great to have strong women who are also vulnerable on the inside. I like how all 3 of them are so unique and they show us that they're flawed, just like any other human being. Amazing drama!

I had the same!! But I really do not have an idea what to watch :( any suggestions?
Hmm...have you watched Le Coup de Foudre? It's a really good drama and also very cute like this one. The best part is that it's based on a real life story! There's not much unnecessary angst and if I remember correctly, the parents are really supportive as well ^^

This is one of those classic Japanese dramas! Amazing acting and chemistry. I remember watching this when I was really young so the plot is quite blurry to me now. I guess it's time for a rewatch!

I've been having an awful drama slump for a while now. This was finally a drama that I could finish. Yay!! The leads are super cute and sweet, there's no angst at all so I was grinning from episode 1 to 24. Like seriously, my cheeks hurt from smiling but it's totally worth it.

I really liked the first half of the drama because it was sweet and cute. However, the second half of the drama was super frustrating. The female lead took forever to choose between the male lead and the second male lead. Usually I don't mind love triangles but this girl was so indecisive it was awful. She doesn't seem mature enough to be in a relationship.

What a relatable post! I've had this happen to me a few times before. I've realized that taking a short or long break usually helps. Instead of jumping from one drama to the next because then you'll just have drama overload, it's good to do or watch something else. Personally, I haven't watched any dramas in 2019 and I've been watching variety shows instead. Sometimes I take a break from drama and variety shows altogether and I read manga. It really is up to your personal preference =)

Great article! What an interesting topic. I love it when I feel like I'm growing with the characters while I'm watching the drama. It's one thing to watch the characters grow on screen and it's an entirely different experience if you yourself grow and mature. It's Okay That's Love definitely taught me a lot about mental health and how society treats people who have mental health issues without understanding that we're all humans. We all have flaws. So why can't we embrace other people's flaws? It's a very good lesson about empathy and learning to understand people who are different from us. Definitely my 인생드라마 A.K.A my "life drama"

Thank you for the great article! Women get hate for so many things, it's pretty stressful. I wish people would just appreciate the characters and understand that characters in dramas are just like us humans, we all have our own flaws and imperfections and that is totally okay.

I really like the title of your article. "Exercise in Anxiety". This is basically me when I watch any Chinese drama because they are so long and I never know what will happen. This drama was recommended to me by my cousin and I absolutely loved it! Besides the storyline, the chemistry between the leads was the best part.

i really hope this isn't a tragedy but also lmao the title is so cheesy
Yeah I agree. I speak Korean and the Korean name for the drama is totally fine. The English name however, is too cheesy. Talk about weird translations.

Hmm...it seems like tvn REALLY likes ghost dramas. First we had "Oh My Ghostess", then we had "Bring it on, Ghost" and now we have "Catch the Ghost". I mean I'm not complaining because Moon Geun Young is making a comeback and that's pretty awesome! I definitely have high hopes for this drama because the other two ghost dramas were both really fun to watch.
