I know this is a show a lot of people like but don't come at me. I'm allowed to have my opinions. This started…
Thanks for sharing! I absolutely love the actors and I think they have great chemistry! They are super cute together. However, the plot is just so draggy and frustrating. I find this is the same for a lot of Chinese dramas. They start off amazing, like usually the first 1/3 of the drama is soooo good, and afterwards the angst comes and I literally want to yell at my computer screen. It's like one misunderstanding after another.

Wow! It's only been 8 episodes but I absolutely adore this drama already. I really like how Song Ah is an introvert and soft-spoken but she is also brave and courageous. To be honest, I haven't seen a character like her portrayed in a drama for long time and I'm so happy as a fellow introvert. I also like how they deal with realistic problems and adult issues. Falling in love isn't easy, sometimes it is extremely painful and it might take a while for you to open up your heart to someone again (especially if you've been hurt in the past). Last but not least, as someone who has always loved classical music, the songs that they play only make the drama even more rich and colourful. I can't wait to see what happens next!

Thank youuu :3
Nice! The Japanese version of Hana Yori Dango is probably my favourite version. It has the best acting and chemistry ^_^

What a great article! I'm so happy that you guys mentioned all of my favourite Taiwanese dramas. Mars, Devil Beside You, Hana Kimi and Autumn's Concerto will always be classics! I'm glad you also mentioned My Lucky Star because it's not as popular as the other ones but it has an amazing plot and chemistry. It's great when you have that one drama that started your drama addiction because it will always be special. My very first Taiwanese drama was Meteor Garden, I think I was in grade 7 at the time, I was hooked from the beginning and the rest is history!

Thanks for this article. It was fun to read =) I personally don't mind age gaps as long as both of them are over 20 (it gets kind of awkward when one is a minor) and they have chemistry. I felt zero chemistry between the leads when watching Goblin. I was so excited to watch Goblin because I loved Gong Yoo in Coffee Prince and also Kim Go Eun in Cheese in the Trap. So when I saw the casting I was like wow I'm probably going to love this. Sadly, I just couldn't feel their chemistry in Goblin and I was unable to finish watching the drama.

Thanks for sharing this article. It was really fun to read and I agreed on a lot of your points. I remember a few years back, there were a lot of Youtube videos about "nice guys finish last" and "being friend-zoned". At first I was like aww...poor nice guys, but the more I learned about the meaning, the more it seemed alarming and messed-up. Basically, these guys were salty that they got rejected by a girl despite being nice to them. Umm...excuse me? That is a huge red flag. Nobody should be obliged to like someone back just because they were being nice to them. I believe that true love is not selfish, instead, you should care about the other person's feelings even more because you love them.

I love this webtoon so I'm excited for the drama! Plus Cha Eun Woo's acting seems to be improving with each drama so that's something to look forward to. I don't know much about Moon Ga Young but from what I've seen she seems really talented, so it seems like a good casting so far =)

As someone who speaks Cantonese and who wants to learn Thai in the future, I find your comment very insensitive and disrespectful.

'The Crown Princess' has a super respectful male lead if interested. Very handsome too, I might add. ^^' Heroine…
Wow! Thanks so much for the recommendations guys. I will definitely check them out =)

Thanks for such a great article! I am definitely interested in watching Thai dramas but like someone else mentioned, I am not into the whole Slap/Kiss thing. I would love to watch Thai dramas that show consent and they don't have the male lead always forcing kisses onto the female lead. I'm sure these dramas exist and I know there are some really caring and sweet male leads. I just have to do more research =)

My Lucky Star is an amazing Taiwanese drama! I honestly can't even imagine a remake that would give it justice. This is such a cool topic to discuss, thanks for writing this article!

Thanks for this article! I love my short rom-coms but I also love long family and historical dramas. Honestly, it really depends on my mood and how much time I have on my hands. I'm so glad you put "My Father is Strange", that is definitely one of my favourites. Another lengthy drama that I enjoyed was "Five Enough"

I want to watch this so bad but I'm also worried of getting high blood pressure. I just watched a few short clips on Youtube and my heart kept racing, I had no idea what was going to happen next. The suspense is real!

Lol same !I think songhwa needs some time to settle her feelings and heal her body. And Yes! Chihong was a complete…
Did you watch the last episode yet? Ik Jun confessed! My heart is so happy and satisfied. I was okay with them being best friends forever so this is like a bonus! I'm glad that we got some couples but also some open-endings. They haven't even started filming for season 2 yet but I'm already excited for season 2. I have no idea how I'm going to wait for a whole year, but I'm probably just going to watch more dramas =D

I love Jung So Min so much. She's such a versatile, talented actor. I just started watching this drama but I can't wait to see how it unfolds. Like many of you mentioned, it's great that an Asian drama is tackling the topic of mental health. In a lot of Asian communities, it is still taboo to talk about mental health and I think it's so important that we start to address this.

Oh my gosh...I got so triggered by Episode 11. Sorry I'm going to go on a bit of a rant. Chi Hong really crossed the line. I can't believe I thought he was so sweet in the beginning of the drama. As a woman, I feel very uncomfortable with guys touching me who I am not close with. Ik Jun giving Song Hwa a pat on the shoulder is normal, they have been friends for 20 years! However, when Chi Hong patted Song Hwa on the shoulder she felt so uncomfortable and it was obvious she didn't like it. Then he went on to provoke Ik Jun while the guy was drunk! That was a low blow. Okay end of rant. I really hope we get a good ending in episode 12. I think I am satisfied with Song Hwa not ending up with anyone, just because the 5 of them have such a pure and strong friendship. Happy drama watching everyone =)

I have never liked medical dramas (I usually find them boring) but I fell in love with this drama just from the first episode. Their chemistry is off the charts and you will think to yourself "I wish I had a group of best friends like that". Also, while watching this drama my respect for doctors has just increased tenfold. The good doctors, the ones who actually want to make a difference in peoples' lives, are so amazing and honourable.

Wow I breezed through season 1 and 2, it was so good! I usually hate anything that's scary. I stay away from horror movies and even sometimes thrillers. But this drama was just to good to pass by and I don't regret it at all. Amazing acting and cinematography! Netflix is really stepping up their game. I can't wait for season 3.

I think this is the only drama where I'm not shipping the girl with any of the male leads. Their friendship is just so precious and pure, it melts my heart! Not only is this drama a masterpiece, but the song choices are also amazing. I love oldies and listening to Korean songs from the 90s and 2000s just makes me so nostalgic. I feel like I am transported back to that era. Whoever made this drama really deserves an award. Thank you for making my Thursdays that much better =)
