Thanks for the recommendations guys =D I've watched Scarlet Heart and I really enjoyed it. I loved Liu Shi Shi's different relationships with all of the princes. I have yet to watch Nirvana In Fire and I've heard amazing things about it so I might check it out =)
Guys, what am I supposed to do with my life now that this drama is over? ='( I haven't experienced such a strong emotional connection to a drama in a while and it's so hard to say goodbye to Ye Hua and Bai Qian. The acting was brilliant, the drama set was gorgeous and the overall theme really spoke to my heart. In this generation that views dating and relationships so lightly, this drama reminds us that true love requires sacrifice, and when we sacrifice, we don't think that the other person owes us anything because we do it out of love.
I don't understand why people were being mean and bashing his looks, I mean not only is his acting amazing, he is so handsome <3 I will forever remember him as Ye Hua.
After watching a lot of mediocre dramas in 2016, I really miss this drama because it was an amazing roller coaster ride. I felt like I was on a journey with the characters and it was hilarious and sad at the same time.
The main couple is so wishy-washy. I love Gong Yoo and Kim Go Eun as actors but I definitely didn't love their characters. I saw so much potential n Kim Go Eun when I watched Cheese in the trap and this drama kind of took that away. Her character was annoying and I even thought to myself, was I that immature when I was 19? And the goblin is quite immature too. I was actually more interested in the second couple with Lee Dong Wook and Yoo In Na. Lee Dong Wook's character was absolutely adorable.
Yes! This drama is so good =) After watching a lot of Korean dramas with weak female characters, it's so refreshing seeing a female character who is strong and who knows how to fight!
Yess!! An article about Ariel Lin =) I've liked her since It Started As a Kiss and her acting has only gotten better from there on. She is such a genuine person and so down to earth. I think my favorite drama from her would be In Time With You. Her chemistry with the male lead was amazing and she showed us a more mature woman compared to her other roles. She is someone I like so much not just as an actress, but as a person. I can't wait for new dramas from her!!
This drama starts off really promising and then it just drags on and on. I'm so glad I dropped this drama. I wish they gave the main couple more quality time together. Instead they are constantly arguing over things and it got really annoying.
This drama had flaws but it was such a beautiful drama. Even though it ended a month ago, it's been haunting me. The stories, the friendships, the love and the hate. It has one of the most amazing OSTs I have ever heard and I've been watching Korean dramas for like 10 years. I still listen to the OST every single day. It makes me feel peaceful and happy after a long day at work.
Wow, Kyunsoo bacame a really good actor! I'm impressed and proud of him
He always has been good at acting ^_^ Have you watched It's Okay That's Love? It's one of my favorite Korean dramas of all time and Kyungsoo's acting completely blew me away! I was so impressed especially because it was his first time acting in a drama.
Honestly, at the end of this drama, I wished that Hae Soo would just fall in love with Wang Jung and just be his…
Huh? But the Chinese version was only 35 episodes. I think that's the whole point of this drama though. It's realizing that no matter how hard you try not to fall in love with certain people, you end up falling in love with them. And no matter how hard you try to change history, you can't change it. Sadly, Hae Soo and Wang Jeong were just not meant to be. I feel you though, I really like 14th prince, he's one of my favorites.
Honestly, at the end of this drama, I wished that Hae Soo would just fall in love with Wang Jung and just be his…
I agree! Have you watched the Chinese version? In Bu Bu Jing Xing my favorite prince is 14th prince as well. All the other princes hurt Ruo Xi (Hae Soo) in one way or another but he was the one who stayed loyal by her side. He loved her even though he knew that she wouldn't love him back =(
This was a good drama but I wished that they had more episodes. So many things were rushed! For example, in the Chinese version the thing I enjoyed the most was the depth of their friendships and relationships. In this version, we don't even get to see how Hae Soo and Woo Hee became friends. Also, we don't get to see how Wang Jeong fell in love with Hae Soo, he just falls in love with her randomly and we're supposed to buy into that. Nevertheless, I still enjoyed this drama because Lee Jun Ki was excellent and Kang Ha Neul's acting was amazing in the first half. IU also proved herself worthy of being the lead actress.
