So after seeing 1 episode you just want to compare xu kai to your beloved wang xingyue without logic.

In MR case Tencent own the copyright then Disney+ bought exclusive copyright so other WeTV distributor has to buy the copyright like everyone else.

To put it bluntly Xu Kai is not lucky as SZ who is backed up by capital. Unfortunately, Chinese Idol drama never do the proper research for any field they use as background story. They just glaze it through with jargon most of the time.

His past script until last year, he wasn't given much choice for him to pick from, his boss will filter it according to which projects his boss can use those projects to help lifted up other actors in his company the most rather than find them their projects. so those scripts are all exchanges of resources based on deals that his boss make. Hence you will see many additional scenes from supporting roles to the point they have their own story and arcs in his dramas to the point the main story line is missing, only the recent dramas he started filming that he has much wider choices and options.
