So I can't speak for Ren Jianlun but for Xu Kai he has a very strong cantonese accent as he is from Shenzhen, early in his career his words was really hard to hear clearly but he has greatly improved now (the interviews you watch might be recent) and he has only been 6 years in the industry so that's why She and Her Perfect Husband is the first drama he will use his own voice and his drama afterwards as well.
