I think things with WS wouldn't have been so bad if his mother wasn't such a deadbeat loser. If she hadn't signed that contract and collected the advance, they may have been able to keep things quiet until WS was able to talk to the whole group. Although Ra Ik probably wouldn't have been able to leave anyway cos I'm sure the CEO was blackmailing him to stay.

Friends can also be worried about you... I didn't see anything in that statement alone to be him forcing his feelings on her cos it was barely 2 seconds long. Maybe more will be revealed, but if I had a friend who was going through something like that I'd want them to know explicitly that they are not alone and there's someone who cares about them. Maybe I read the scene wrong though ¯⁠\⁠_⁠(⁠ツ⁠)⁠_⁠/⁠¯

I've seen a number of people surprised he didn't recognise her as a teenager and I'm a little lost... Has he mentioned that incident as something significant in his life? Maybe I missed it. Cos why would he remember a girl he met briefly over a decade ago? I know it was a major event for Se Na, but that doesn't necessarily mean it was memorable for Ra Ik. Unless there's something I've missed so far, or maybe they'll write that in later. But realistically, he shouldn't remember her actually and that's alright too.

Ra Ik seems to have a habit of protecting people who hurt him because he believes he isn't worthy of anything good so they must be right on some level. It vexes me cos several people should've gotten slapped by now for their behaviour, including that idiot ex.

I think with the introduction of new evidence about the victim trying to move their group to a new company, we can now properly look at the CEO as a suspect. He's been shady from day 1, but that didn't qualify him for suspect status on its own. It seems WS was trying to do anything to get the band out of their predatory contracts because he could see Ra Ik selling his soul to keep them together under that company. Knowing this, I don't believe the CEO will actually provide evidence of the new contract to the police because it makes him a suspect now and gives him motive to get rid of WS.

As for... Everything else... The ex gf is obviously batshit crazy. Ra Ik needs to stop internalising guilt from people who are actually harming him like those psychotic fangirls who nearly killed someone. What do you mean let them go? Istg he's getting on my last nerve with that. And hell, he's already a murder suspect so why do you care about what else people will say now? That idiot band mate needs to grow up fr cos this victim mentality is tired and played.

Finally, of course he was going to find out Se Na's secret, and of course that was going to be their major conflict. Did people expect him to just be like "oh well la dee da" about such a major lie? He kept saying she's the only one he can trust, and thank God she doesn't like him, and now that he finds out it's actually the opposite he should just let it slide? Is he not a human being anymore? Cos he'd have to be some kind of Buddha to let that go just like that. She needs to explain herself thoroughly, and then he can decide if he should forgive her or not. Let's also not forget that the only reason she took his case was because she IS a wildly obsessed fan and NOT because she's some superhero of justice who just happened to be there. She may have her principles as a lawyer, but the whole thing was tainted from the start - fruit from a poisonous tree, one might say. Better to clear the air now and move on.

If it wasn't going to be a problem, she wouldn't have felt compelled to hide it and lie to him all this time. I think we all know that she wasn't keeping it from him because she was protecting her personal life, she knew that he would never have gotten that close to her if he knew she was an obsessed fan.

This is how I feel too. He seems to hurt his own case more often than not, and I can't imagine how frustrating it must be for his lawyer. I'm still watching because unlike everyone else in the show, I actually do want to find out who the real killer is 😂

I can't believe we're still wasting airtime on ZX and goodness, I wanted to smack XG's cousin shut when he started going on about study overseas and whatnot. ZX is a classic case of "if he wanted to, he would". If he wanted to reach XG, no matter where she was, he would have. Hell, he got her text messages and chose not to use the same mode of communication to reach her. I am so tired of experiencing ZX as a character.

Next, I really wanted them to call the cops on those lenders. Cos XG's father and grandparents do not appear anywhere on that piece of paper so why the hell are you making noise at their house? Let the police come and handle it and they can explain to the police how "it's all the same thing" when you have a written agreement with a whole other person. Her father continues to be an idiot, but I certainly do not subscribe to this bs of passing loans onto a random 3rd party.

I'm looking forward to the conclusion of this drama, but it's been so much fun watching it so far.

I wasn't going to mention him again, but I really feel like ZX is exactly like XG's father. Coming from a poor background with a ton of resentment and entitlement at the same time (even has a toxic and stupid 'childhood love' too), but unlike her mother, XG was lucky enough to see his real colours before they got entangled.

I was picturing him with a magically procured bucket of popcorn cos the drama was too good to miss!

Looks like XG only had 2 decent friends in college cos the others were just chock-full of resentment and jealousy, just because she's from a rich family. Also, the audacity of that girl to say she also liked that scarecrow, ZX, but she and Rong didn't want to actually date him because of his family troubles, and then resent XG for actually speaking up about her feelings is doing my head in. If you're too cowardly or miserable to just like someone openly, then don't complain when someone else steps up.

Love that we've been introduced to yet another boss-ass woman, leading in her field cos that's always fun for me.

Finally, I cannot believe that scarecrow has yet another woman waiting for him now. Is she really so stupid that she'd look at him pining after someone else's gf and say "ah yes, that's the one I want". The 'i can fix him' mentality needs to fade into oblivion please 😩 I'm deliberately not commenting on the scarecrow's actions in ep 30 cos that's how irrelevant and useless he is to me (and XG).

I think he should have exposed his in laws and himself and paid the price for his corruption. Opening a law firm like that means nothing even if he goes on to help all the small people out there. What about justice for his victims? He should have submitted himself to the mercy of the law for punishment and that would be a real ground zero point to rebuild from. That's my opinion though.

Also, my original point that he was a fool for doing this and not keeping any evidence still stands.

From the episode where he tried to play that game while XG was in the hospital, it's implied that he cannot hold a scalpel anymore. It didn't seem to be hand tremors cos he was unable to hold his hand in a way that would allow him play that game well.

When she said she didn't even care that much about the shares but since he's gonna cry about it then she's happy, I screamed 🤣

I thought of this when he said the doctor he wanted to go research with is in neurology cos XG's dad keeps holding his head. Cos I believe LYS was a heart surgeon before the accident.

I bet even a university student could tell that XG's dad is a shortsighted idiot with his decision to sell that company. And then the audacity to try and use XG to blackmail her mother into handing over her shares too! Oh I hate that man. That company wouldn't even exist without XG's mom but he loves to pretend she doesn't know what she's doing. Although I'd like XG's mom to give up those shares and walk away completely, then I'd love for her to buy the entire company for pennies when he eventually drives it into the ground.

Someone mentioned that his mistress's daughter may be the one to pull him into a bad business deal and we can already see that coming from the way those 'friends' were already scamming her into investing in a clearly fraudulent business. I'm certainly looking forward to that! It seems that girl didn't even go to school and she definitely doesn't want to know what a job is.

I think if he really wanted a clean slate, he would have been willing to pay for his own actions. He wanted to walk away with moral superiority, ignoring the damage he'd done for YEARS. Of course that's not how it works cos he was working with snakes, after all.
