I just finished ep 14 and I hope the Li family suffers every misfortune under the sun.

Also, for the SML... at this point, it feels like he's choosing to torture himself cos even if he loses his inheritance, he won't be poor and he's still skilled. He is so desperate for his father's validation that he's ruined his own life up to this point. I hope once he gets divorced he just leaves the company and anything to do with the family to go and be happy.

So the executive assistant is pissed because the MARRIED MAN she tried to have an affair with isn't interested in her, and the guy she counts on manipulating is now seeing someone else... And decides to ruin the VP and set Ki Jun up in an attempt to get rid of In-a? That girl is so daft 😂

I know at the end of it all Ki Jun will probably forgive her cos he's just that kind of person, but what a stupid way to ruin all your relationships because, again, the MARRIED MAN you're infatuated with won't have an affair with you.

From the moment their branch was exiled and the grandmother sat there stupidly while everyone passed judgment, I knew she was useless. Every time something happens she just stares vapidly while someone is doing something heinous to Zhen and her family. She's the worst kind of person cos at least we know the aunt is a piece of garbage.

Noh Ki Jun has such strong golden retriever vibes. I'm really enjoying how straightforward he is about his feelings. I like their relationship and as much as I want to see In A take the leap, I fully understand the hesitation. She's definitely been burned once before in that respect (she's also a cat and cats are famously difficult when it comes to this lol).

I don't like the VP's secretary so I'm ignoring her manipulative a**. The crazy wife should just have been a business marriage without the hysterics. We already know the VP and his wife do not feel anything for each other, and I wish they hadn't made her a psycho too. Personally, I wanted him to have a marriage that eventually worked but that's impossible with this wife character. He may end up getting with the secretary once he realises that In A is fully out of reach and the despair takes over. Unfortunate.

One character I still don't get is the VP's brother. He just seems like a chaotic neutral entity and I'm still waiting to see if I need to care about him.

It was picked so they could say he overdosed on his own meds and it was an accident not a deliberate poisoning.

The PM being the worst kind of 2ML - stayed friends with FL for 10+ years without making a move, then starts sulking and throwing up the moment she gets involved with someone else. HJ was always there and if he wanted to, he would, but he was too much of a coward to do anything and now I'm supposed to care? Nope.

I was actually glad to hear I-An say he'd divorce her if she wants it because that's hot. Marriage is a choice, so if she still wants the divorce for whatever reason, then he shouldn't force it. They can always get back together again lol.

Finally, it seems quite idiotic to poison either the bride or groom at the most publicised wedding ever. What exactly would be the way out here if an investigation is forced? The QM (and her cohorts) will hasten the end of the royal family if this continues.

Which all happened before they started dating. After that her interactions with Tan jr were about their business. Am I the only one who saw how uncomfortable she was when he shouted her out on stage and all that? Was she supposed to, in front of everyone, make a scene because she now has a boyfriend (whose business she was also protecting btw)?

None of those things have anything to do with Ji Feng or her character. 2 people asked her out, she rejected one of them without destroying the relationship. Once she decided to date Ji Feng, she was never in that kind of intimate situation with Tan again. She is allowed to weigh her options without being vilified.

Also, it's wild to me that Miyu's being platonic and professional with Tan is somehow equated with her having a low moral character. She called that man Mr Tan from start to finish and treated him exactly the way she treated his father and Marcos. He may have been placed as the 2ML, but that's really not Miyu's problem. She was mature about it and didn't ruin the relationship just cos he decided to like her.

(Aside: For real though, what's the deal with those men and their exes? Messy)

The fact that this is called The Epoch of Miyu and it ends on a solo shot of Ji Feng is insane to me.

This could easily be at least 5 episodes shorter without all the slow motion and slow talking 😂

I'm sorry but... She had to personally sort through garbage, IN THE RAIN, by herself, for what exactly? I get that she's supposed to be super competent and good at everything, but this thing cdramas do where the FL must be in the most unnecessarily pathetic situations at least 40% of the time to evoke a response from the ML is just insane.

The General Manager of the hotel knew that there was a high chance the missing item was in the garbage. There is no way he wouldn't have put the garbage pickup on hold first. It's most ridiculous because we know that if she was still a forewoman she would've done exactly this, so why was the forewoman on whose watch this happened not also involved. Why wasn't literally anyone else in the lobby involved? I get it. It's for the DRAMA and the romance, but my god, what a stupid thing to do 😂
